The promo seemed humorous which attracted me to watch the show again and it's nice to show it in good light . . . But lack of humour . . . The track if shown earlier I think it would been funny . . . I still enjoy the old episodes . . . I can watch them whole day . . . But now the humour is missing plus they all look tired especially jetha and daya . . .

Talking about this track with demonetisation, it was not only unfunny but also very much unecessary.

The details these people are putting forward are weeks old. Its very annoying.

Isn't the track to glorify the idea of demonetisation ? In that case why show one harass honest small time businessman ? The money Jetha has borrowed is not an illegal deal. Either the man accepts his old notes or should issue a valid contract to Jetha where it figures that Jetha has taken a loan from him. Technically, no man will lend such a big amount without a valid document . If he fails to do both then he should forgot his money as well. That man should have been shown in trouble instead of Jetha.

Ek businessman k paas khudki shop me na laptop hai aur na hi swipe machine hai. Uski shop mein toh CCTV bhi nahi. Idhar sabziwali ko ek din me swipe machine use karna bhi aa gaya aur daya ko bhi debit card use karna aata hai.

Well, that's how it is, isn't it ? Even Abdul seems to have basic education but yet he manages to run a small shop while Jetha knows absolutely no English yet he runs an electronic shop.

Debit card is not a big deal. Even Jan Dhan accounts come with a debit card. So, give her a benefit of doubt there . You forgot Daya tappu ke papa Gada is a who lady who manages to save more than 2 lakh from the shaguns she get every year should ideally?

Sabziwali can get a cctv camera as well.😆

@ Mansi , Too bad. Donation will show demonetisation in bad light. I think someone will take the money from him for treatment or other emergency services and pay him later by cheque or new currency.

The information is old and some things are illogical but as a viewer I expect humour from show . . Today at least I found it slightly funny when Sundar s friends were calling jetha . . . Same track is introduced in bhabhiji show . . It is much more hilarious. I know it's not right to compare but same tracks introduced in both shows simultaneously .

@Bold I had thought the same but I felt very bad when I read 15th Nov 2016 article where dilip joshi said we are trying to show instead of destroying the notes donate in temple. And if this happens it will be a very bad ending.

However I agree BGPH is more hilarious as they do not stretch the story. But even TMKOC was that much great show when they had completed 500 episodes just like BGPH.

If TMKOC writers stop stretching the tracks and focus on the scope of what they can show then it will be better than BGPH.

I think she meant about the information about demonetisation and not about the article. Thanks for the link.

As for BGPH, that show is playing their cards wisely. That show deals with characters which are not so good like TMKOC. In one go they are showing the corrupts like Happu Singh, Tax evaders like Tiwari, housewife like Angoori, jobless like TIka and Malkhan and people like Tillu who still don't have a bank account. Now, we will have dalals like Vibhuti and Prem also who take commission and convert black to white.

In TMKOC, everything is so superficial. In the bid to show too good people who love the Govt's move they end up being unreal. Therefore,The newspaper wallah comes the very next day to collect his money. The sabziwali overnight gets a PoS machine and Sodhi wastes all his khulle paise on samosas. Like why ? Let the sabziwali learn about it from GD people and then use it next time. Let the news paper boy know about electronic transaction. Let the chat wala also learn about e wallets. At the end of the day, the idea of demonetisation is also about having a cashless society.

Saving lakhs of rupees at home even if it is white is like wasting an opportunity to participate in the nation building. You can buy a FD if you are not comfortable with keeping it in the savings account. Put the money in the circulation. Let the money multiply.This way of savings is helping neither you or the nation.

About donating the money, I would have appreciated if Jetha had taken the money from SUndar and donated it to some temple because he was anyways not expecting that money. Donating hard earned money because there is no other option is a bad move.Too far from reality and too far from comedy as well.
