TMKOC has played this emotional blackmail card many times in the past. TMKOC catches one angle of an issue and makes a track on it which makes it extra sweet.

everything in life does not happen according to plan, things crop up unexpectedly and we have to decide what is more important to us if we have to choose one as either or...I don't know what or why the bride's father is doing what he is doing, I do not think Saptu can afford to explain anything as he is in no position to but obey his father-in-law if he wants kamalika to but culminating your love to marriage is very difficult and people can sacrifice everything, go to great lengths and struggle for obtaining success in love...a lover knows his love comes first, so does personal relationships, if i am a in a bpo job, tomorrow i may pursue another line or leave job to do something else, butno one leaves near and dear ones forever for a job or career or a mere contract. suppose if some attackers catch you If you are asked to chose between your head and hand , you will chose to keep your head, because without one hand you can still live, but without a head, you are dead. You got to prioritize.He loves komolika and Komolika to be his, needs her father's permission and if he leaves her alone to marry someone else for a contract, which anyone can replace him with, he will never be a responsible anything or fit for any personal relations, only his clients and him, he can do anythign in USA and be a responsible lover husband and professional because such problems do not crop up everyday so that he will have to leave any more contracts.

No one was dying. No marriage was about to be dissolved. He is an adult and so is the girl he wishes to marry.No one can force her to marry another man in a country like US.Actually its the story line which is absurd here.

I never used the word immoral. Immoral and unethical are two different words and besides I mentioned he is indeed a great lover but a poor professional by all means.IMO he is neither demon or robot but he is not any great soul either. He is but only an average person.

Darling, in an open forum like this , everyone is entitled to think and talk their way. Its rather stupid to call another viewpoint stupid that too without analysing the situation properly. I really appreciate your POV which is in favour of the TMKOC team and their way of showing this particular track.
