Dilip Sir's Interview after winning in ITA.

When it comes to comedy, the name from the TV industry which has become synonymous with the genre is none other than Dilip Joshi.

The rib-tickler par excellence, has thumped his authority with his comic histrionics playing Jethalal in SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Neela Telefilms).

And his hard work paid off at the Twelfth Indian Telly Awards when he won the Best Actor in a Comic Role category (popular).

Said the man flashing his smile: "First of all, I want to thank my guru Swami Narayan. Next I want to thank legendary writer Taarak Mehta because of whom the show and my character was created. Next in my list is producer Asit Modi for supporting me throughout."

He continued, "Finally, I want to thank fans who have been supporting our show for the last five long years. Everything has been possible for their unconditional love and blessings."

Way to go Dilipji.
