I have been ardent fan of TMKOC for a long time now. However, everywhere i go now, I see negetavity taking over.
Either, Daya's voice is irritating or tapu is overacting or the storyline isn't interesting enough.
While daya's curent voice tone my not be the same as it was when she started out, has anyone stopped to consider this for a minute, that this is NOT her original voice? how difficult must it be to change one's voice and speak in a high pitched tone for 8-9 hours a day for 4 yrs now? Shouldn' we give her some leeway?
True the story line has its ups and downs but this is only because the show is trying to stay true to its essence.. which is to portray a 'slice' from a common man's life..and it can't always be funny.
Tapu sena kids are growing up, and since we are used to seeing the cute little golis and gogis..the changes will take a while to process..
Am not saying this serial is without its flaws, but for that every time one of us stands up to point yet another finger at TMKOC, can we for once stand up to remind oursleves why we still tune in to watch it everyday? The CVs, writers, diretors, producers and above all, the amazing actors work around the clock to bring a smile to our faces.
This is the ONLY sitcom where barring a few caracters, no actor has ever left citing 'differences with other cast members, over pay etc'..they truly are portraying the positivity that radiates from within them.
I know that , this is by far the best sitcom around, a lot like India's seinfeld..probably even better..
I admit I felt frustrated with TMKOC a while back too, until I realised, at the end of a long hard day, this is the only show that I tune into, that makes the world seem less complicated, more warm and more real in many ways.
Jetha's problems belittle my own, Gokuldam members camaraderie leaves me yearning for an extended family like theirs..and in a world thats getting more and more materialistic..simple joys..like watching a sitcom sans negativity (like taarak).. lifts my spirits.
can you tell me what you like about tmkoc?
