Why Champak goes missing when Sundar comes?

In the recent episode "Sundar's 30 lakh scam", Champaklal was conspicuously absent from the scene!

I remember vaguely that in many episodes whenever Sundar came Champak went missing.

For example, During one water shortage epi. when Sundar came with a Van full of pilgrims from A'bad to Shirdi, Champak was nowhere to be found.

In the Red-cherry mobile episode, Champak leaves for Yaatra. But it was demanded by the story (otherwise the misunderstanding plot, couldn't develop)

Can you recall anymore episodes when Sundar came but Champak was absent? And can you speculate any reason for it, other than the one given by the scriptwriter (i.e. yaatra or temple visit)?

May be because they cannot stand the sight of each other. May be Champak is overworked so he takes holiday or may be director is doing it to save budget by not having to pay so many characters.

Champak was absent when Sundar brough Soni Playstation 2 as a gift for Tappu.
Champak was absent when Sundar came up with a real-estate scheme in Sanand for all Gokuldham members.

Firstly, I would like to call him Babuji/Chachaji or Champaklal at the least. I know it doesn't matter in real life because he is not that aged, but as far as the serial is concerned each and every person in the serial (even the outsiders and robbers) called him Chachaji or similar as a reflection of respect. I feel this is a very important element this serial has shown, respect for elders not only your own but for others as well.

So coming back to Babuji's disappearance: I have noticed that as well. I personally feel that his disappearance is not because he is busy with some other serial or low budget. In fact I feel Babuji has been the most sacrificial person in this serial by shaving his head off! There are some tracks which require his absence otherwise it won't build up. And even in realistic terms elders don't always stick to the house and do go to yatras, temples and similar adventures. So perhaps I would see it in this way, whenever Babuji is absent something wrong happens!! not the other way round. This shows the importance of an elder in the house. Regarding Sunder and Babuji's togetherness, I can remember many episodes where Babuji was present with Sundar.

Let me list few of them straight away...as I remember:
(a) Dr. Hathi goes to diet program and Jethallal is restricted to eat. When Dr. Hathi arrives it is realised he gained weight and then Jethalal is given food. That time Sundar arrives. Natukaka comes with a big ladoo. Babuji was present that time.

(b) During Holi festival when Gokuldham decided not to celebrate it. Jethalal calls Sundar not to come and he just enters the house as he calls. Babuji is present that time.

(c) Bapuji and Sundar both were present when Jethalal was to leave to London.

Yaar TM you do so much speculation.. dimakh ko kabhi kabhi rest de! 🤣
I really don't know the reason, but whatever the case, I would be even more annoyed if both shared screen space together, because I find them both irritating characters at some points so its better if theyre not together.

Champak commands not even a penny worth respect in my heart, because he always shields Tappu from punishment.

I believe that every person has some weakness. Bapuji's weakness is Tapu. He loves Tapu so much that sometimes he ignores his mistakes.

But we should remember that it was Bapuji who:

(a) who prevents others from gambling and from drinking alcohol.
(b) Bapuji calmed down Jethalal when he became terribly stressed out when he did not get 200 LCD order.
(c) It was Bapuji who hid 50 Lakhs (which belonged to contractor) to teach him and Jethallal a lesson that people should not evade tax and should not pile black money.
(d) Bapuji also allowed Daya wear western dress in Babita's party indicating that he is not orthodox.

That seat opposite of TV will look very empty if Bapuji is not there reading a newspaper!

There have been cases where Bapuji has been wrong like child-marriage and his stubbornness to donate money to beggars. But he have realized his mistake in those episodes. I think he expresses his love for Jethalal in terms of mild angriness.

He didn't shave his head. He is wearing skin type thing on his head. He also does single episodes of FIR with a full head of hair.
