I for one have always maintained that I admire SwaSan for the magic they created and am grateful for Varun and Helly for bringing them alive on screen. I really give two hoots how they get along in real life, I keep SwaSan and VaHe very very separate (I could be in a the rare minority but...) so whether they give IVs or not, flood the SNS with lovely dovey photos or not, makes no difference for me.

In fact I remember writing on a thread, in response to you and Shru, if Varun and Helly actually do not get along in real life I will admire them all the more, for the sizzling magic they create on screen.

What you said is the truth, the serial sank because of two reasons, - pathetic (I cannot find a better alternative to this word) story lines and absolutely inconsistent characterisation. As you said, the Serial is shutting down because of TRPs which is determined by the aunties and they give a damn for what the actors are in real life. Most of them would not even care to find out the real names, for them they are Swara, Sanskaar, Ragini,Laksh etc. So the real culprit is the story line or lack of it and complete ruination of the characters.

Ragini the sweet traditional girl morphing to the vamp and showing signs (however slight) of remorse during the Laksh kidnapping her track - butchered beyond redemption when she was re-morphed into the malkin🤢🤢

Sanskaar, with his brilliant revenge, realisation, remorse and redemption track becomes a door nail (I know you said door knob but even that serves a purpose of letting you open a door, the nail has no use or rationale) the start was during the Kavita blackmail track.

Swara - carefree girl with an ability to find the good in any person, suddenly starts deteriorating - the starting point when she labels Sanskaar for being obsessed with his first love, her reasoning - he suspects Kavita of being behind all the plots to sabotage his wedding with Swara . That was the start of my disillusionment with Swara.

Laksh - consistently impulsive and irrational - the only character the CVs have done justice to by constantly being unjust to him.

The rest - the CVs seem to be playing a game - who will be inane and stupid today / this week? I cannot summon the strength to write about them.

And yes - one point - Dadi turning to be such a ridiculous villain - that also did not go very well - her hatred of Shomi and Swara was tragic and crossed all limits of acceptability, even by any hardcore domineering mother in law aunties who are responsible for the TRPS.

Last but not the least - Swara, one daughter in law, walks out on her husband and sasural because her sister, another daughter in law of the same house, does not want to stay in the sasural where memories of her missing husband haunt her.😕😕 Fine - but was is it necessary to even remove all signs of being married?

No TRP lending aunty is going to support daughters in law wiping out their sindoor and walking out on their husbands despite them professing to be in love with them - No way.

I guess, as usual I have rambled.😆😆

i personally will go back to my 'characters over actors' mode. strictly keeping myself off from all sorts of offscreen equations. tele life is good that way.

thank you for your kind words dear. and hey no! my post was not meant for you per se.
that was a general statement. of what i have seen happening in this fandom for a long time.

me and my friends who complained about ML track and Swara's attitude were termed solo fans and were called pretty colourful names.
heck i was personally bashed in a CC.

even in the beginning of the current track when i expressed my disappointment for Swara i was termed as a solo fan who can 'see' pain of only sanskaar.

when i criticize VK during the birthday fiasco again the labeling. this time from other end.

well i am a Sanskaar'ian first and love Helly the best. i honestly dunno which category of 'fan' i fall into. frankly speaking i don't care.
i prefer being called nimmi who can trash anyone😆.

jokes apart.. on serious note..
i have seen the labelling, mocking, taunting, trashing of people for simply having opinions.
in my brief sojourn in twitter land i have seen people i thought who are friends of each other degrading, back biting, trashing, ridiculing each other all for a fictional character, a tele serial and a celebrity.

i am a girl. i get gossiping and bitching.. but i really don't get THIS.

i get the hurt and need to defend the actors/characters one likes, the criticism and even bashing, the differences and debates but i don't get THIS.

hence my general musing.

regarding VK he must be a sweet guy and all the issues were simply misunderstanding or over-reaction by fans.
i didn't like certain issues and conduct then. i am beyond caring now. got my fairytale of swasan, beautiful memories, met some wonderful girls... had a beautiful journey.
the reason i still hover here and comment because hey this is my home and love the girls who reside here. that is it.

i agree wid all ur posts but always bit disagree on ML track.rest oder tracks i agree esply this one. i'd also seen ppl labeling oder fans as solo fans by both sides.don't know why ppl do this??😕

i agree wid u on actors also.i never blamed VK 4 the show's condn or 4 dishonesty.but i also think hes also at bit fault 4 the fiasco happened btn fans & him tho that was unintentional from his side.
