What an analysis.! I too had stopped watching SwaRagini. But yesterday went ahead and got a picture of what was happening. I am looking forward to this leap so desperately, hoping against all odds that at least now there will be no villains except for the strife between the two. Mostly I am looking forward to that revenge mode Sanskaar. I am dying to see him back and cannot stop grinning at the fact that it might just happen.
It is sooo good to be back in this forum. Viji, I have missed you. Missed your writings, your takes, your different views and your Mahabharat refrences. šŸ˜›
Glad to be back and especially to see this brilliant post on SwaSan and their intricacies
Keep rocking!

Vrinda!! šŸ¤—

Missed you too, yaar. šŸ¤—

Yup, I certainly am eager to see how the serial shows them resolving their differences, how their love for each other wins over all that misunderstanding and strife and frustration at being taken for granted!

I am absolutely loving the return of the edgy, snarky Sanskaar. Completely no nonsense and hard nosed! šŸ˜† His sarcastic wit is really something, I must say. They had converted him into a mannequin for so long, which was completely unbelievable. I mean, he was by far the smartest, most resolute character along all the Maheshwaris and the Gadodias. But he had been given nothing to do, really, for much of the past weeks' episodes. Waiting eagerly to see the gray-ish Sunny boy back in action. šŸ˜‰

You would have noticed, BTW, how the dress code reflects his mood/ nature? šŸ˜† šŸ˜‰ They used to give him bright, sunny clothes to wear---sometimes going overboard with colors only Sanskaar/VK could carry off without making them look frightful! Even shimmering gold, fuchsia pink (shudder!) and eye blindingly bright lavender. šŸ˜†

But now, with the gray shaded, machiavellian Sunny back---he is decked suavely in all black. 😊 As symbolisms go, this is very apt indeed. I just hope they carry the plot forward as deftly! šŸ˜†

So touched by your lovely words yaar. 😳 Mahabharata references and analogies---I just love them. It is my favorite epic of all time. 😊

Hope you will be sticking around the forum more, now.

Your random cogitations just add more sense to coming track . I am super excited to this how this unfolds. We have seem them in pain , sacrificial mode, being stupid, in love😳. They always had each other watching their back even if one of them stumbled midway and together they work wonders.

Now I am so looking forward to see how Swasan portray this intense emotion of ..I don't call it hate but ..tashan from both sides. We have seen them standing together now standing against each other ,I am sure we are up for treat😳

And what a post ..Jahapana Tussi grt ho šŸ‘šŸ‘ Your Mahabharata references are just bang on.How rightly said ..Our past actions have their own repercussions where as our present choices determine our future course and yet how we are influenced by our upbringing , insecurities, beliefs rooted deep down the heart .

Your analysis of Swasan character totally gave a new perspective to ponder upon and you are awesome like alwaysāļø darlin

Love
Lucky

PS; I may be back with more šŸ˜‰ ramblings of my own on this post.

Lucky dear šŸ¤—šŸ¤—

Very true yaar. I am also so very eager, to see how this push and pull, tashan and tadap filled track unfolds between SwaSan. It certainly has immense potential, adding further sheen to the already legendary love story between them. 😊

Wow...I am just floating with all your lovely words. 😳 You know how much I love Mahabharata references and analogies. It is my most favorite epic of all time. 😊 When that "dharam yudh" dialogue came up, I couldn't help but think of this tale from the Great epic.

Always eager to have your take, Lucky dear. Come back with your ramblings šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜† whenever you can.

Dear Viji,
As usual a brilliant post, will get back in detail on this.

I know I am digressing, but reading your Mahabharata Analogy about Bhishma's vow leading to the Kurushektra, there is another analogy that comes to mind, as how much weight should one's vow carry and what exactly is dharma. (this is what my brother told me which he heard in one of his corporate management seminars at XLRI)

A certain legend has it that when Arjun balked at the thought of waging a war at his brothers and family members and for a few moments appeared not to be moved even by Krishna's Geethopadesa, Krishna started preparing to take up arms on Arjuna's behalf. An aghast Bhishma questioned him, "How can you take up arms, Krishna, you vowed not to do so. Is your action not against dharma?

Lord Krishna is purported to have replied, "vows carry significance only in relative terms, when the circumstances change, sticking to one's vows is foolhardiness. After your father's death, when your mother, Satyavati, herself pleaded with you to set aside your vow of celibacy, it was not dharma that made you refuse but your sense of ego. And that refusal is precisely the reason why we are here, at this battlefield. And in the battlefield, it is one's dharma to wage a war, if Arjun does not, as his charioteer, I shall. That is Dharma "

And indeed, we use the words Bhishma Pratignya and Dharmayudh so easily, without pausing to think what they actually mean.

love,
Nyna

I have heard that tale from the Epic, it's really very thought provoking.

And those discussions on Dharma are profound indeed. Is it a permanent and unchanging truth? Or is it a contextual, subjective truth which must be adapted to suit the particular circumstances/specifics of the case?

That's a fascinating debate in its own right. 😊 I can see that you identify more with the latter definition, and so do I.

Lots of Love

Viji di,
A wonderful analysis for a wonderful ( hope so šŸ˜•) track. U have given all about swasan. I really don't need to say anything more than that. Well mahabharat is not so fav to me. I like the kurukshetra war very much, especially krishna's geetopadesh to Arjuna. Apart from that phase, nothing much I like in mahabharat.
Love u loads
