Well, everyone knows for whose this post is for. Its for our Mrs Sherlock Holmes as in Mrs Swara Sanskaar Maheshwari.😃
Her observant, cautious nature, which is very widely called as CIDgiri, helped saved the MMwasis from losing that tender. She knew that her sister was doing something really wrong and until and unless she doesn't find some proof against that, she will not trust her and make sure to protect the family in every way possible. Swara, as a character, has always been shown to fight, to fight for what is right. And whether it is fighting for the family or standing up for her self-respect.👏 ⭐️
Yes, my today's post is mostly dedicated to this part. Fighting for self respect.⭐️
Very often, in Indian television series, we have seen the female lead always getting questioned on her character (for the number of guys she had in her life, even if they are just friends) even if the male lead has had same number of girls if not more in this life. And that is one of the most pathetic and very sexist drama a series can even show. And what is even more pathetic is that the female leads are shown so weak that they just end up crying, asking for forgiveness, begging people to trust her and only saying dialogues like "mujhpe bharosa karo essa kuch nahin hai" or sometimes they are not even given dialogues. Female leads are shown to just hear the accusations and cry and go away and start a new life🥱
But in case of SR, especially Swara, it has been different. Not only just once, but so many times. Initially it use to be Dadi, who use to comment on Swara's character because of her clothes. Swara didn't go insult her but very maturely taught her that someone's clothes or the number of guy friends that a girl would have doesn't define a girl's character. What define's anyone's character is their approach towards life, their humanity, their practicality. And thats what she taught DP as well who had the same perspective of Swara like dadi had and even worse coz Swara was the illegitimate daughter too. But DP was the first one to realize how wrong he was to judge Swara and now she is his soul-daughter that he would have had.
And two major times, thanks to the lovely sister of Swara, that her character was attacked was during:
The Devar-Bhabhi track:
No one came to her defense then except of Sanskaar. The Mahaan ladies of MM had lost their brain cells and had believed Swara's sister even after knowing the fact that Swara's sister had done so many kaands. They thought that Swara was indeed spoiling her life and double dating their boys. Swara was not scared of anyone. She knew she was right. The ladies questioned her, Laksh questioned her but all she did was question and slap the culprit who was responsible for maligning her character. She proved herself that she was right. Even though the ladies still didn't believe her then, atleast she didn't beg anyone to trust her or listen to her. She stood up for her self respect then👏
And its today, the missing baby track or whatever you can call this track:
The moment media and samaaj people came and started questioning her, she didn't break down. Or she didn't cry like a baby or fell down on the floor, thinking who is trying to spoil her life again? Yes, she was hurt. But even after that, very maturely and strongly, she asked for the news paper. She wanted to speak and the media people tried to break her morale down by making idiotic claims. Still that didn't break her morale. And thank you for the small mercies that not only Sanskaar, but the entire family supported Swara and protected her. Her husband was very angry and if Swara wouldnt have stopped, he would have just killed that media person there. But Swara, very calmly showed the pic which was photoshopped. The media and samaaj people realize their mistake and they leave. But even after their leaving, Swara didn't have that over the top expression of again falling on the floor and breathing a sigh of relief. Her eyes still portrayed the feeling of hurt. But yet, she was determinant to find out who did such a vulgar joke with her. She was heart broken yet strong.👏 ⭐️. She knew the battle hasnt ended yet and she is determined to find out the core cause of it and end that once and for all.
PS: Helly Shah, loved the subtle expression you gave for hurt, heart broken as well as strong Swara. You were on point girl.
PPS: Again, no bashing please. No bringing in other characters unless they are related to the scene. And no bringing in actors at all.
