I have sent you pm's for 3 of my most recent OS's. Do read them when time permits, and let me know what you felt.

My earlier fics are all on my index. Do let me know if you are able to view my siggy (at the bottom of my posts). The link to my index is there. You would need to enable the 'View Video Avatar / Banner Signature' option, on your Update Profile section, in case you are not able to view my siggy.

Let me know if it works.

Lots of Love,

Viji

Dear Viji,
I finally completely unres for Chapter 6.

Pictor - the Painter's Easel

And here I come - for the final part of the last chapter of this marvellous tale. I really do not have much to say but I shall do so.

The setting was - against the backdrop of the Ganges and the aarti - was, for want of a better word - very befitting the meeting of those lost souls, weary and convinced till a few days earlier, that a union was destined for them in this lifetime. (have you seen the aarti? - I have seen the Godavari aarati, very similar to the Ganga one, at Rajamahendra - commonly known as Rajahmudry - it is soul stirring. You stay rooted, I did, even though it was pouring. A very beautiful sight, indeed)

What I liked here was that Sanskaar did not give the serialised version of a blanket forgiveness to her and Swara is well aware, in fact, a little too aware that she cannot hope for any happiness with him because her deception would forever cast a shadow on their life.

But then that is love is all about, understanding the other's actions and being empathetic. Allowing them the chance to be forgiven without judging them. And having faith in each other and their love, that come what may, the past would only remain as a mere fact, never as a means to doubt the other in future.

It was a very simple and piognant question that Sanskaar asked, 'whether she would place him first' and her firm answer, 'that he would the most important person' - that conversation, though consisting of only two sentences, spoke volumes did it not. An assurance from both that, they would move forward, placing the other person before everyone else and above everything. What more did they need?

And then when they finally surrendered to each other, it was nothing but a simple and ethereal reiteration of their vow - they belonged only to each other.

I loved this story, have read it multiple times and each time it leaves me starry eyed and with a slight breathless wonder - both at the love Swara and Sanskaar have for each other and for the beautiful way you have expressed it.

love you loads,
Nyna

My Dearest, Dearest Nynu 🤗 🤗

Your comment is so full of warmth and love, I am feeling quite light-headed and extremely touched. 😳🤗

You've just made Diwali evening so special for me. Have guests over, so I shall reply to both of your amazing comments, when I have adequate time on my lappie in the coming work week. That gives me time to collect my thoughts to give a coherent reply as well. 😳☺️

Loads of Love

Take all the time you want. I still have to write for your epilogues.

I too have guests over, and with the additional baby sitting duties during the week (which I simply love) time is short. Will try to write😳

Nynu 🤗

You've told me how much you loved them, and that's really made me feel absolutely touched. 😳🤗 Don't stress yourself for unres/ detailed comments etc. Take care of your commitments, I genuinely won't mind if you are not able to write for the epilogues.

Take care of all the commitments you have on your plate. 🤗 The babysitting duties sound really nice indeed. 😊

Love

Dear Viji,

I am back for : DbC - Epilogue 1

I did mention it or maybe I did not - but then reading about the epilogue was like seeing a portrait of paradise. Their impatience and their reluctant wait to their vows, which as you put was but a mere reiteration of the vows of love that they had already taken when they pledged themselves to each other. But it was very gratifying to see the little moments of their cozy togetherness, a little like the twinklings stars, which on a whole emblazons the heavens much like their love story.

I liked the firm stand adopted towards the Gadodias (Ragini obviously being one in name only, somehow the blood that courses through her veins is not that of the Gododia stain). And Lucky here, is the adorable sibling, nothing but the best for his brother. (and the final scene when he wished he had emulated his brother completely and carried a handkercheif, was nice) I am hopeful, though you might not write it, that they have their own beautiful silvery love story.😳

But what I liked, nay, loved the most was the gesture that Swara made, of having her hands and arms, stained in the deep crimson lines of mehendi, with his initial. As if, by repeating it over and over again, she is saying that every thing she is, is his. That was a symbol of literally branding her body, mind, heart and soul with his name. It does not matter that the henna dye would fade in days, his name would forever be etched on her soul. Sanskaar understood, which is why he must have lit up with joy. And when she sees his happiness, I am sure Swara must have been singing:

Ye kaun ayaa, roshan ho gayi
Mehfil kis ke naam se
Mere ghar mein jaise suraj
nikalaa hai shaam se

Yaade hain kuchh aayi si, yaa kiranen laharaaisi
Dil men soye giton ne, li hai fir angadaaisi
Aramaanon ki madiraa chhalaki, aankhiyon ke jaam se

In the end, it does not matter, whether they chose each other or they were destined to be together. All that matters is that they are now bound to each other, irrevocably, for now and for ever.

love,
Nyna

Edited to add (Simply could not resist😳😳😳)

Truly ethereal, right?

Nynu 🤗🤗

I burst a 120 shot firework last night, and was then enthralled at the bright streamers and shooting stars of 10 dozen different crackers exploding in the night sky. And I ate my favorite badam halwa and cashew sweets 😛😉. Yes, my notorious sweet tooth. 😉

But your lovely, amazing comments on this thread are making me feel even more delighted and touched. 😳☺️ I can't tell you how extra special Diwali is now. 🤗🤗

Will be back soonest I have adequate time on my lappie, but in the meantime...I do see Lucky and Ragini having a fulfilling and blissful love story of their own here. Just as I had brought them together in a happy marriage in 'Postern of Fate'.

I have been feeling rather well disposed towards the Lucky I have written in my recent fics. 😊 The one on the serial...well, I will just say I am still quite ambivalent about my ambivalence, towards that very ambivalent character. 😆😉

Lots of love, and Loads of Diwali Hugs 😊
