I started watching the show over a year back with the raglak n swasa wedding twist..

Even a year back, Sharmistha did not fight back.. Swara did all the work to get her parents back together n now she is letting Ragini do it now.. Sharmistha desired to get back with her husband n here Sharmistha desires to have the kid.. So my perception of her has been always that her kids have fought for her..

The single independent mother was something I never saw... If she was shown as fighter , then I'd say that she was butchered a year back itself with the swasan-Ragya twist..

But you should understand Shomi had brought up a daughter born outside the wed lock not caring of what the society may say

Agree with u yaar, cvs r handling this pregnancy issue rather insensitively, late pregnancy a very common now a days examples r our Bollywood only, there s no need to make a big issue of that,it's quite common,I dnt know y does they hv make such a big issue, shomi s being shown as a weak woman.

True and it might influence people's thinking that its ok to frown upon people having child so late and that its shame to have a baby at the later stage of life
