If you read my original comment I clearly said that Ragya are not the only ones to be blamed. Whatever they did, Shekhar and Shomi agreed to it and played along, however, I won't agree with your logic of praising Ragya because whatever they did was to save a life. They could have done a dozen other things to protect that unborn life, yet they chose to lie and deceit the family members. Also, how exactly were they saving the baby? By separating him from his parents as soon as he born? By lying about his lineage and hiding it from everyone including himself?

As far as SwaSan's marriage is concerned then at that time it was the best possible thing to do. Unlike Raglak, they didn't have other options to prove themselves. Ragini and Laksh could have persuaded the family members by talking sense and presenting facts, but at that time, everyone despised SwaSan. They weren't gonna listen or believe anything they said because Ragini had so cleverly convinced them that she was the positive one (It's ironic how Ragini was so good at fooling people with her words but now she has to resort to faking the pregnancy because her words aren't enough).
SwaSan didn't play with the emotions of anyone. They decided it was a temporary thing unlike Ragya who were probably planning to lie about it their whole lives. I can present numerous more arguments however I don't feel the need to do so.
