Unres, (My 4300th post)🥳
Yay! 😊 So happy to have these milestone posts of yours on my threads. 🤗
Dearest Viji,
My Dearest Kid Sis🤗🤗
I think this thread of yours has most number of milestones made by me in it. It tells you how close to my heart the story has become. I almost place it next to my very favorite...which is the Earth in elements series.
Thanks dear 😳. That means a lot.
So finally, Nakul calls up. As I told you earlier, I was worried about this conversation but it seemed what I dared was the last thing that would happen and Nakul truly became the blessing in disguise and told Sanskar everything. This was important and masterful, as Sanskar would not have taken anyone's word but Nakul's at the point he was in.
😊 I recall, you were a bit tense of what Nakul would do. That's why I'd mentioned in passing in my reply to your comment, that Nakul was fairly positive in this Fic. 😊 He'd done what he did before, out of his unshakable loyalty and devotion to Sanskaar---he is simply such that if Sanskaar told him to jump off a cliff, he would! But I would like to think that Nakul too, bears a considerable degree of remorse for his involvement in that MMS episode, and now genuinely holds Swara in very high regard and esteem.
Sanskaar at this point of his retrograde amnesia, would likely not have taken any other person's word. Ragini did try, during their confrontation at the mandir in Chapter 4, but he cut her off.
The way the story flows from there was sheer brilliance! The way he felt disgusted with his own actions the level of redemption he went through almost burned him. This I hold in awe everytime I read. Sanskar always punishes himself rather ruthlessly for the slightest of errors he make along the way right? And he was on it again, pushing himself deep in to the dark waters of guilt, and keep pushing until he cannot breath anymore.
So happy you loved this portrayal, dear. 😳 🤗 Yes, Sanskaar certainly judges himself by a very high standard. Inherently, he is a very upright person, with a deeply held credo of sincerity and dedication. And when he realized how far down the wrong path he'd gone; received details of the steps he'd taken in his corrosive bitterness and rage, he just felt that tremendous burden of remorse and guilt. He certainly felt a huge amount of self loathing and aversion, and had it not been for Swara's loving, calming hand, he might well have buried himself in those scalding emotions.
AS always, Swara comes to rescue. This girl indeed has came a long way from Swara Bose to Swara Sanskar Maheshwari. I really loved the maturity you've given her, the way you brought out the shades of deep adoration and understanding in her for her love. She listened as he listed his woes, gently showed him the light and eased his guilt. Just how smoothly this was done...and the imagery...I can actually imagine this Swara and she comes across as very real to me!
I wanted to portray Swara and Sanskaar here, as the true soulmates they are. With the yin/yang symmetry of their inextricably intertwined souls. Swara understood him here without him really having to explain anything. And she knew what a crushing burden of remorse he would be placing on himself. That was quite unacceptable to her, for anything which so grievously hurt Sanskaar, would wound her even more. And this time, she knew that he had not really done something which he should feel so guilty about. As you so rightly put it, Swara Bose certainly has grown and matured into Swara Sanskaar Maheshwari. She knows that to threaten to do something, and to actually go ahead and do it, are two different things. And she knows, from a certainty deep within the very marrow of her bones, that Sanskaar would never have done anything to harm her or her family. He would have found it impossible to cause hurt to befall her parents or her unborn sibling...whatever impression he might have left Ragini with. That unshakable faith from Swara, really did ease Sanskaar's guilt, enabled him to get succor from those dark shadows of pain, regret and remorse.
The seamless turning from dark knight to white guardian is so well portrayed that it leaves me speechless when I think of it.
But moreover what I adore here is Ragini. That was some brilliant stuff there, the way she analyzed the scene before her eyes and understood the layers to the unsaid, but still remain a tad bit unsure. The way Sanskar silently toasted to her good efforts in the battle...once again it proves that good wins...this time it was Ragini battling for light. And that moment was just too profound to describe.
Thanks a ton, Saku. 😳 🤗 The Sanskaar---Ragini battle of wits, wills, guile and wiles was a very crucial part of this 5S, and I am so glad you loved it. In the end, Sanskaar feels a lot admiration for the gritty way Ragini stood up to him, managed to steal a march on him somehow, despite his own formidable planning, his brilliance and imaginativeness. He has come to realize, that she wasn't really his antagonist at all in this issue. She was only trying to prevent him from causing Swara and himself a massive amount of hurt and anguish, with his amnesia-driven plans for bringing the Maheshwaris down, once again.
That last gesture---with him raising a toast to her---I am so overjoyed you loved it. I was kind of wondering if people might prefer a more wordy, detailed conversation between these two superb Frenemies. 😛 But i figured, this subtle salute/ cheers actually fit the situation much better, spoke volumes about the admiration and regard between the two.
Undoubtedly it takes the cap of best moment for me.
Eagerly waiting for the epilogue, can't tell you how much I loved this one.
I am just immensely touched by this, dear. Feel so blessed and humbled by the sheer warmth and love in your comment. 🤗 Epilogues coming up in a few days. 😊
Loads of love,
Saku
