Hai. I understand why a lot are confused here about swara's behaviour. I was too when I got emotional about the whole torment sanskar is going through. I also expect the same from anyone who had enjoyed swasan till date and are hoping to get back to seeing that flourish on the screen again. Personally I think swara has not changed even a bit form her previous self. If anything she is just as normal as is expected form any human being, may it be swara a year back or swara now. So let me try and make it clear why swara is still herself (with all the fear and dilemmas included) logically and scientifically.
Lets just look back for once before I jump right away into explaining the scientific reasons here, shall we?
Swara was a confident, speculative and courageous person from the start. But her relations were immensely based on trust and speculations and deductions were based on coincidentally coming across some situations. And Love beyond reason only came to her after sanskaar happened.
So back then if you remember she made relations based on trust and her judgement of people's characters. Just like any other person on the planet.
And how she made relations with people around her is like this: Lakshya was a rogue for her because he acted like one initially with a demeaning attitude. Then he was just a troubled truthful lad who stuck to his ideas and values. Then he was a jerk for all the mess he let himself into without trusting his so called love. All these were based on the actions he committed.
The same happened with ragini. She was a beautiful soul. Untainted and holy for which swara trusted and loved her immensely. And also took to protect her from anyone she deemed unworthy of it.Then swara felt betrayed for the wool she managed to pull on her eyes and in marrying lakshya. Then Ragini turned more negative through her actions and swara had this image of her stuck in her mind. She stopped trusting her. Even hated her for a while, Till the moment where Ragini flipped 180 and started being the untainted soul again. At that time Ragini was again the most important person in her life. Swara was back to considering her as the best human ever to walk the lands.
Swara's measure of sanskar was also through his actions. She doubted his insanity initially tested him with some sedatives. Then she let go of it. And when raglak got married and sanskar turned positive she trusted him above everyone due to his dedication towards truth. Then she despised him for the unwarranted love.
Why im pointing all this out is to say that everyone in this world is related to the other only through a set of memories and emotions. They are the basis for every relationship. Life is nothing but an array of memories and the positive and negative reinforcements those memories provide a person with. these reinforcements are what we call emotions. Seems very shallow when explained like this but that is the scientific truth beyond all that we see and do everyday. And Reason always plays a vital role in survival. The moment you take away reason from the equation there it leads to chaos. And love beyond reason is chaos. That's bliss.
When swara fell for sanskar everything turned out unnecessary and the rational mind was gone. She was on cloud 9. She trusted kavitha and was blind to the conniving plans lakshya was laying around Ragini. She didn't care for anything beyond living in the present and doing whatever she can to save the present. I do not want to divulge into the scientific explanation here because it kills the effect of the story.
So On the whole swara was as human as anyone. She was a detective only because she happened to come across the lies first. she wasn't born to see through people at all. If that were true she would have seen through all the drama that unfolded over the past year and so.
Swara now is the same as before. Lets see.
Sahil saved her. An act on good and unselfishness. She trusts him and likes him. Nothing in the last few episodes gave her a chance to doubt him. So she will keep to that till she stumbles upon something that makes her look back or think twice.
She doesn't trust sanskar and also hates him to some point because her mind has only one memory of him and he was aiming a gun at her. His face showed only contempt. And nothing else. So she would or anyone would assume him as the bad guy.
Ragini is her friend and her sister but the bonding they had in the early days of shekar and shomi's wedding are lost to her. She doesn't trust Ragini with her life. She just trusts her. But given a situation where she has to choose between two people with one of them being ragini she will choose Ragini. Because there is a longer emotional bond there. And stronger in some ways. She will even try and give a chance to sanskar if Ragini asks her. But that's not something CVs are going to give us right away. So don't hope for it. The drama should go on for the show to run and make some profits.
So right now we are at an impasse. And this will go on till swara stumbles upon something crucial. Like: parineeta should do something stupid, she should come to know about Rajat and also know that sahil is hoping to have her in his life, or some effective hints from past like the locket sanskar gave her or something about the room she is sleeping in! Or may be her engagement ring. She will need little shocks. One after the other. Then we can have the adrenalin boosted swara speculating everyone around her not just sanskar. And also they will rigger some deep settled memories into surfacing. A blow on the head will not do it.
Actual medical facts about amnesia:
The brain has an area to make memories called hippocampus and they are processed and stored in deeper parts of the brain while the emotional component of every memory is imprinted on another adjacent area called amygdala. So when ever a person goes through trauma of a severe kind where the brain goes through a phase on oxygen deprivation the brain cells dies or go into a state like dormancy and the pathway of memory recollection gets hampered. But not necessarily all of her memory will be out of reach. There is no definitive here. Some lose weeks, some months, some years. Swara lost the last one yr of memories. In some people the damage is permanent. In some recovery occurs at its own pace. So scientifically speaking she has no access to the last one year of memories. And so to all the emotions( reinforcements) she felt in the last one year. And so no memory of love beyond reason.
I'm actually amazed at how the creative heads made a very scientific and logical move here. Never have they used logic before to the point of perfection in the show. All this shows how much the show runs on swasan and how much they depend on swasan to make it a success. They are lucky to have such good actors.
So as long as swara doesn't stumble upon something speculative the detective swara won't surface. Till then she is jus confident and courageous.And until something triggers her brain into recollecting a good memory of sanskar she won't trust him in anything.
PS : i know I'm due to read a lot of fictions guys and also replay to the comments on my other posts. But please understand and accept my apologies as I say that I'm very busy these days and going through toughest times of my life. I'll surely come back someday to douse myself in all that I missed and also take up the unfinished stories .
PSS: il so glad to atleast have enough time to share my view on the track. Feels too good. I seriously miss the forum :( but can't help it when things much more important are at stake.
