Chapter 4

Laksh returns back to Maheshwari Mansion

He wasn't able to understand what is wrong with him and why he isn't able to concentrate on anything

While back in the MM house, Dadi is curious as to why is everyone behaving so harshly with Ragini that too when for her she's such a simple and sweet girl

Sujata: Maa, you don't come into the sweet talk of that girl, she's very smart and cunning

Dadi: Sujata, what are you saying?

Sujata tells Ragini's real face to Dadi and she wasn't able to believe that Ragini could stoop this low

On the other hand, in RagLak room, Ragini decides that It'll be best for her to leave the house and let Laksh live his own life so she packs her luggage and goes down

When Ragini packs her bag and goes down, there she sees AP, Sujata and Dadi who were all angrily looking at her

Ragini: (To herself) I guess by now my truth is already in front of Dadi also that's why all are so angry at me

Ragini: Maa! I'm going back to baadi, as now there is no reason for me to stay in this house. She even hands them the divorce papers with her signatures on there

Nobody says anything nor tries to stop her from leaving the house

As she was leaving she sees Laksh there, she looks at him with pain in her eyes but doesn't say anything and leaves. Laksh looks on to her till the moment she steps out

Ragini leaves and Laksh goes back into his room

In Gadodia house

Ragini: (In her mind) I hope you have signed the divorce paper Laksh, I don't want to be a burden on you anymore

In Maheshwari House

Laksh: (To himself) Ragini! Ragini! Why am I not able to get you out of my mind?

Laksh started to do the office work on his laptop in order to get his mind out of Ragini

Weeks past by, both Ragini and Laksh were thinking about each other, Laksh had signed the divorce paper and the case was on progress

After 2 WEEKS LATER - In Maheshwari House

Laksh was in his bedroom, when Dadi came into his room

Laksh: Dadi app? Come in ..

Dadi: Laksh I came here to tell you something important

Laksh: What?

Dadi: We have decided to get you remarried, the girl's family are coming today so be prepared

Saying this Dadi leaves the room

After 2 WEEKS LATER - In Gadodia House

Dadi, dada ji and Shekhar was still upset with Ragini and it was only Sharmista who talked to her properly

Dadi: Sharmista! I hope you got what me and dada ji told you yesterday, now be a good mother and explain it to Ragini

Sharmista enters Ragini's room

She was folding her blankets but was lost in something else

Sharmista: Ragini ..

Ragini: Maa App?

Sharmista makes Ragini sit down and talks to her

Sharmista: I know Ragini, you love Laksh a lot and you'll never be able to forget him but you have to now move on from your past. You have to forget Laksh and move on his life. Dada ji has planned to get you remarried

Ragini was shocked

Sharmista: And they're coming tomorrow afternoon for proposal so they be prepared

Ragini: But maa! I'm not ready for this ..

Sharmista: Give it a try and try to forget your past! .. Ragini at least try to meet the boy and talk to him once

Sharmista told Ragini to meet the boy once and after that whatever the decision is, she will support her

Ragini was broken, It was true that she wanted to leave Laksh but not because she didn't love him anymore but because she wanted to see him live his life and be happy as he would never be happy with Ragini

She knew well that even if she married him, she'll never be able to give him Laksh's place and love

But she thought to meet him atleast once and tell him all her truth

In Maheshwari Mansion

Laksh couldn't understand what was wrong with him, he always wanted to hurt Ragini and be far from her life but today hearing his remarriage he wasn't so happy as he expected he would be

Today the girl's family was coming, and he didn't knew how he should confront her and tell her the truth about his first marriage

That afternoon - MM house Living room

The girl's family came, the Maheshwari elders greeted them and welcomed them inside

The girl's family starts to introduce themselves

Mr. Gupta: This is my wife, my elder son and this is my daughter Laira for whom we bought this alliance (He says pointing at them respectively)

DP: Namaste

Dadi: Wow! Your daughter is really pretty!

DP: This is my wife anupoorma, This is my elder son Adarsh, My elder daughter-in-law Parineeta, My younger brother Ram, His wife Sujata, Their son Sanskar and his wife Swara (He says pointing at each of them respectivly )

AP: We don't want to hide anything from you all, I hope you know well that this is our son's second marriage

Mr. Gupta: Don't worry dadi already infromed us before hand, and after all this if the children are ready for marriage then so are we ready for this marriage

Mrs. Gupta: I guess we should let Laira and Laksh talk to each other and know each other more

Laksh and Laira goes into Laksh's room for talking

In Laksh's Bedroom

Laira: Hi

Laksh: Hi

Laira: So! Tell me something about yourself

Laksh: About me? What should I tell you? You ask then I'll answer

Laira: If you don't mind then can I ask you why your first marriage broke?

Laksh: Of course, your going to be my wife, you have full rights to know what had had happen

Laksh narates the entire story to Laira & she listens to it

Laira: She loves you a lot Laksh

Laksh: yes she does but the method she took wasn't good and what type of love is this where in order to get your love, you steal your lover's love

Laira: Do you love her?

Laksh became slient then he replied No

Laksh: (To Laira) I can never love a girl like her

Although Laksh's mind said that he doesn't love her but his heart wasn't agreeing, he wasn't feeling so good that he said it

Laira: You don't have any problem with this relationship right?

Laksh: Yes I have no problem

Laira: Okay then I'll go outside and tell everyone that we have no problem

The next day in Ragini's house

The boy's family came to see her and she got dressed and came outside

Shekhar: This is our daughter Ragini

The boy's family starts to introduce them

(And to surprise the boy marriying Ragini is no other than Laira's elder brother but they don't know that Laksh and Ragini were husband wife yet)

Mr Gupta: This is our son Rakesh, we have planned to get both our daughter and sons married together, for daughter we confirmed the alliance yesterday already

Dadi: Wow what an Idea, your marry your daughter off but same time bring in your daughter-in-law

Sharmista: I think we should give time to Ragini and Rakesh to talk to each other

Ragini and Rakesh goes to each other's room and talk to each other

Rakesh: Hi

Ragini: Hi

Rakesh: I'm Rakesh

Ragini: I'm Ragini

There was a slience for long time when Ragini spoke up

Ragini: Are you sure you want this marriage? After knowing about my past, I don't think you'll want to marry me

Rakesh: Ragini I know it's your second marriage, but is it written anywhere that a person can't marry second time, plus you seem like a really nice girl to me

Ragini: Don't have so much trust on me

Ragini starts to tell about herself, how she tried to destroyed her sister's love and married Laksh. She told him everything

Rakesh: I'm happy Ragini that you told the truth because it's really easy to tell a lie but needs lot of courage to tell the truth and this has proved that you have really changed and feel guilty about it. And after knowing all this I have no issue about this relation

Ragini and Rakesh also informs everyone that they have no issue with their relationship and they can go ahead with the alliance
