Prologue

We all are taught to respect elders. We all are taught that family should always be your first priority. No matter which school we are in we all learn math English and many different subjects. If we all have been learning the same things that this world has offered then how are we different. How do we end up disrespecting others and hurting their feelings. why are differences made between religions and cultures when all teach same things. Is it just be cause the have different god and names...but unfortunately no matter what happens differences will never be erased nor solved. It has always been and will remain to bee like that.

Swara is a Bengali she lives with her mom Sharmishta and Dida. She is in her last year of university. She is studying accounting. She has always been a care free girl since childhood, unlike Ragini. Ragini is her best friend and also they have been neighbours since childhood they both live at the Badi. Her family is a Marwari so its quite obvious that when they are home they should act as enemies in order to keep their grandma's happy after all we are taught to always listen and keep the elders happy. They both don't know why there is so much hatred between them, it cant be just cultural differences. And both knew it, but never dared to ask the reason.

"how could you do this Sharmishta you know very well that I don't like any member of that family especially that Shekhar yet u were spending the whole day with him" Swara heard her Dida shout at her mom who was quietly listening. "How could you break my promise...how could you trust him again when you very well know how cheap he is"

"Ma we both know that he was not responsible for what happened 24 years ago" Sharmishta spoke finally

"ohh plz Shomi don't try to defend him...if he wanted he could have supported you. But he decide to obey his parents and leave you." Dida rebuked back

"ma plz he is regretting now.. and yet I cant ignore the truth that I still lo..." Sharmishta stopped as she turned to see Swara hearing their words.

"ma why r u two arguing and you and Shekhar uncle know each other from before" that was the first thing swara asked. "I mean you never said that u and Shekhar uncle..." before she could finish her mom jumped in in order to cover the damage from being spread more

"shona of course we know each other we have been living here for 23 years and they have been our neighbours...aahh.. shona how was your day u did share it with me" trying to change the topic.

Ma I had such a great day today, u know we all played a prank at Rahul..hahaha..ohh god if u saw him u would have died laughing..hahah." swara replied forgetting whatever she heard and asked completely lots In her own day she spent with her friends

Part 1

Good morning Dadi" she greeted as she bent down to take blessing from her grandma.

Good morning Lado and god bless you.' She replied as she kept her hand on her head

This was a morning routine for Ragini she would never leave for college before takings blessings from her Dadi and her dad and grandpa if they haven't left for the shop yet.

Bye ma bye Dida" Ragini heard swara while she was waiting for her outside the Badi.

"Hi Ragini."

"Hi Swara. Actually I also wanted to thank you for yesterday if you did come at the right time then Dadi would have caught me with Laksh."

"Ohh come on Ragz.. you don't need to thank me if I wouldn't help you then who would haa?" swara replied with a mischievous smile "by the way u have been quite naughty now a days.. meetings with boyfriend and etcetera.. aren't u afraid of your Hitler Dadi... Hahaha"

"plz shona...it just that me and Laksh have not met for a whole week so

"ya ya so your bf was missing u so he decided to meet u." swara with a smile

Laksh Maheshwari son of the business tycoon owner of Maheshwaris and sons company, Durga Prasad Maheshwari. He has two sons Adarsh and Laksh. DP is a very respected man in the Marwari society. He loves his family so much especially his younger brother Ram Prasad Maheshwari. Ram has always been close to his brother he has one son and a daughter, Sanskar and Uttara. Sanskar is one year older than laksh. Adarsh is their older brother, SanLak have always looked up to him when it comes to business its not like they r not talented or any thing like that its just that Adarsh is more experienced. Uttara is the favourite in the whole family from her brothers, men of the house and their respective wife. You can say the naughty child. She would never miss a chance to tease Adarsh and Parineeta (Adarsh's wife).

Sanskar have you prepared the presentation for the Mehta's contract. "

Yes bade papa.. in fact Adarsh bhai checked it so don't worry."

"Sanskar eat slowly" Sujata jumped when she saw her son gulping the breakfast

"mom I'm in a hurry, I cant be late for the meeting"

"but bhai u still have a lot of time for it to start"

"I know lucky but I want to double check it again. You know I like everything to be perfect." he answered back and immediately left for work.

"Laksh your still here? And why r u looking at your phone repeatedly." DP asked

"No dad just waiting for a phone call"

"Whose phone call r u waiting for so eagerly

"Ra...aahh Raja's actually I have told him to send me a file, but look until now he didn't update me on anything" laksh answered as he looked at his sister Uttara and his bhabi smiling at him naughtily. Leaving the elders confused at their smile.

Just then the phone rang

"bhai I think Ra.. I mean its rajas call" laksh gave a deadly look to Uttara and Pari before excusing himself to attend the call.

The youngsters of the house all knew about Ragini and Laksh relation, and they were quite happy for him, but they have never met Ragini even once because circumstances never allowed. Sanskar and Adarsh especially, knew that Laksh's happiness was with Ragini. But nor could they disclose it with the family because DP never believed in love. He was always clear that he would prefer arranged marriage over love and that's what happened with Adarsh. His marriage was arranged. Its not that he was not happy. In fact he loves Pari a lot.

"Hello Ragini do u know how worried I was, I was waiting for your call since long.. any way tell me Dadi didn't have any doubt right. Ragini why aren't you say anything?

"laksh I will speak only if u give a chance to and don't worry Dadi didn't have any doubt"

"oh thank god.. I was really worried"

"you know Laksh I really don't know what would have happened if Swara didn't come at the right time...u know swara is my best of friend she always helps me when needed"

"hhm...tell her thanks from my behalf too

"ok.. r u at office?

"no I was just leaving.. I'll speak to you later ok. Bye"

"hi Rahul..." both relied

Rahul is a common friend of SwaRagini he also lives at the Badi. He is a Marwari but never believed in cultural discrimination his parents are good friend of Sharmishta and Shekhar. His parents had love marriage which was accepted by the society. Rahul has always been a savior to swaragini when it comes to their grandma's scolds. They were friends from childhood.

"Rahul why r u so late today haa" swara asked

"look who is asking. Because of the prank you guys played on me I had to finish all my notes and the extra homework given by Mr. Shah."

Making them giggle "ya ya you guys laugh just wait and watch how I take revenge"

"Good morning students"

"good morning sir!!!" all students greeted back

"oh shit this fatso is coming to me.. he always sees me alone as if I'm the only student in the whole class" Rahul murmured to himself which could be heard by swaragini making them chuckle.

"so Rahul I hope you did your work this time I don't want any mistakes or else.."

"no sir I did you don't have to worry"

"excuse me Rahul u r the one who would be worried not me. Get that very well Mr. Rahul "

"yes sir"

"so class as u all know this is your last year and semester of your studies you have to prepare your self very well for your exams. Coz I don't want to see you're your faces next year I had enough of you already."

"sir don't worry we will work really hard" swara answered "after all we also cant bare you any more" the last sentence could only be heard by Rahul and Ragini making them chuckle.

"I hope so Ms. Bose"

the day passed the trio reviewing

"Sharmishta how could you hide this from me.. the biggest truth of my life was right in front of my eyes but yet I was unaware of it. How could you? Didn't you think it was important for me to know?"

"even if you knew what would you do haa.. tell me Shekhar ? other than leaving us and act as if we are just strangers. Just like how you did previously"

"plz this is different. The fact can't be denied. She is my daughter my blood swara should know that.."

"I beg you Shekhar don't think of telling this to her. She has lived all this years without you and she is happy plz don't try to add problems in our life. It is true that she has always asked about her dad but I have made her understand the situations... you don't worry I haven't made her hate her dad but she also doesn't need to know." Sharmishta left leaving a broken Shekhar full of tension and sadness.

It was a very difficult situation where he didn't know what to choose. He was lost, lost in a road that had no path to his desired destination. One way where he had his family. His parents who had always emotionally blackmailed him and the other his first and last love Sharmishta and daughter swara.

it is said that you can never hide the truth for long. It has to come in front of every one day. and today the truth that Sharmishta hided from Shekhar finally came out. Sharmishta didn't feel bad after all. She couldn't deny the fact that one of her burden was reduced, she felt lighter.

She was now tensed about the out come of this revelation. And should could do nothing but ask god to make it pass smoothly. She also knew that swara would come to know about it but she was worried if she would be able to handle it well.

(scene shifts to the Maheshwari brothers)

at the canteen in the office the three brothers sat together.

"Sanskar how was your meeting" Adarsh starting the conversation as he took the first bite

"it went well bhai in fact the really liked it and they want us to start the consignment as soon as possible."

"well done"

"thanks.. by the way lucky you had the file for the Mehta's right. plz drop it by later"

followed with silenced. Sanskar and Adarsh seeing laksh not responding turned to face him to see where their brother was lost. here laksh was busy with his phone not letting the smile disappear. he was chatting( of course with Ragini)

"LAKSH!!!" the two shouted because our dear Romeo was not responding to their calls

"haa!!" laksh answered with a sudden shock

"my dear brother where r u lost" Sanskar asked as if concerned while they both knew the actual reason

nothing bhai just chatting.. nothing important

"ohh so its not important give me the phone" Adarsh smiling evilly

"why? " laksh not ready to hand his phone

"Aare. So that I cant tell this stupid person to not disturb you.. come on give me the phone

"no bhai she is not disturbing me"

"she??" Sanskar asking mischievously

"I mean.." laksh thinking of words. "ok I was chatting with Ragini.. happy? now that you guys know and if your done with your teasing can I plz resume to my chatting session" laksh was showing a bit of attitude acting as me he was angry. but he knew very well that he cant be angry with them for long.

"of course my brother but at least tell us when you r going to introduce her to us?" Sanskar asked excitedly to meet the girl who changed his brothers life.

"I will only if u guys spare some time from your busy schedule "

"ok why don't we do it today. tomorrow is a public holiday so there wont be much work. what say?" Adarsh asked

" its a good idea. And anyways we siblings have not been out together form long" Sanskar agreeing with the idea leaving laksh to think about it

"why don't we go out for ice cream what say Sanskar" Adarsh jumped in "its been long since we had our favorite"

"that's great. What say lucky?" Sanskar turning to know hi opinion "oh god save us he is lost in his own world again" giving a small smile to Adarsh

"LUCKY!!"

"ha bhai"

"where r u lost again?"

"nothing I was just thinking how to get Ragini out of the house I told you guys about hoe conservative they are especially Dadi.. but no worries I figured it out "

"Really.. what r u going to do" Adarsh and Sanskar asked curiously to know their younger brothers plan.

"SWARA"

"SWARA?" both now r confused

" ha bhai swara. she is Ragini's friend and neighbor, in fact she our savior. I'm sure she will figure out a way to get her out of the house. anyway let me call her now"

(this scene will be the conversation between laksh and swaragini )

'hello Ragini"

"hi Laksh"

"where r you, is swara with you"

"haa swara and Rahul r with me we are heading home why"

"ohh good Rahul is also there.. ok do one thing put the phone on speaker"

" but why laksh

"offo sweetheart just put it on speaker and you will know"

"ok"

"Hi swara, hi Rahul"

"ohh hi Romeo" swara answered giving a naughty look to Ragini

"Guys I want your help to take Ragini out of the house today.. at night"

"what!! At night r u crazy laksh u know Dadi would never agree for me to go alone at night."

"Who said you would be alone jaan. Swara and Rahul would be with you and .. me"

"ahem ahem. I think you guys forgot that the phone is on speaker" swara and Rahul chuckle bringing the love birds back to reality

"Ragini plz and today I want to introduce you to my brothers and sister and bhabi.. finally they r free"

"don't worry laksh we will bring your Ragini.. I mean jaan to you, u just tell us the address" Rahul said making Ragini blush.

"thank you man. I knew you would come up with something.. you guys also come we will have a great time"

"of course we will. Don't forget to send us the address"

"yaa ok... bye"

"bye" Rahul cut the call and returned the phone to Ragini

"do you guys think Dadi will agree" Ragini asked a bit worried

"don't worry Ragz. Rahul will speak to her. She will never deny him" swara answered her

"so every thing is set" Sanskar asked as he saw laksh approaching them

"yah every thing is set.. I will just msg them the address "

"ok then let me inform pari and Uttara" Adarsh said as he picked and dialed pari"s number

"bhaaiii" Uttara jumped excitedly to finally see her brothers home, after all, she and pari ware really excited for the outing because they were going to meet Ragini after a lot of convincing.

"come on guys go and get ready fast we are already late." Uttara ordered her brothers. Just then Sujata and Annapurna came to see why Uttara sounded so impatient.

"Uttara you look so excited.. where r u guys going" Sujata asked looking at Uttara

"mom we are going to meet Ra..." Stopped as she realized what she was going to spit out.

"chachi ji we r going to have ice cream" pari jumped as fast as she could to cover Uttara's slip of tong

Uttara turned and gave a sorry look to laksh which melted his anger immediately

"ohh ok you guys enjoy.. and it has been long you kids went out together" Annapurna said as giving permission to them

"haa ma we r just going to fresh up and we will leave immediately. Adarsh bhai we will meet you there."

"Ok ... come on pari Uttara lets go"

Adarsh left and Sanskar and laksh went to their respective rooms to change.

Oh god what should I wear I'm so confused' Ragini was murmuring to herself as she was going through her cloths. let me call swara' Ragini picked up the phone and called.

"Hello swara

"haa Ragini r u ready I'm ready I be out in a minute"

"what swara u r ready already.. swara I'm confused with what to wear I mean I don't know how they will find me"

"relax Ragz u don't have to worry just wear what you usually do... and any way someone should like you the way you r not the way they want you to be. Now come on get ready Rahul is waiting"

"ha ok ill be down in a few minutes

"ok.. we are waiting out side"

Ragini cut the call and got ready in her normal traditional attire and went downstairs. She left after saying goodbye to her Dadi. As she was going outside she saw Rahul at the driver seat. He actually borrowed his fathers car. Ragini went and sat next to him and Rahul immediately drove off.

Just then Rahul's phone rang

"Ragini I think u should pick up this call, laksh has been calling after every five min asking where we r" Rahul gave the phone to Ragini after seeing the caller ID.

"ha laksh.. we r coming" Ragini said as she picked up the call

"oh good we already reached we are waiting for u guys... come fast

"ha JAAN we r coming" swara and Rahul shouted at the phone making Raglak blush.

Ragini cut the call to avoid further embarrassment.

"Bye the way Rahul where r we going?" swara could not hide her excitement. She has always loved to meet new people.

"ahh because Dadi gave permission without a restricted time I talked to Laksh and we have decided to go for a movie what say "

"great idea I actually needed a break and it has been long since we went for a

movie together." Swara answered and Ragini nodding agreeing with the plan.

"God knows what's taking SanLak so long" Adarsh could not handle the gossip of his dear wife and sister. He was never type of a guy who would mingle easily with women, only SanLak had that talent and he has always wonder how they did it.

" bhai there they are" Uttara pointed to the direction. As soon as they reached them Adarsh could not help but ask the reason for their delay.

"come on guys what took you so long.. and you left me here listening to their non stop gossip. Oh god" Adarsh said as he kept an irritated look on his face. " any way...laksh did you know where Ragini is

"ha bhai they are on the way they will be here any minute"

after waiting for about ten minutes Swaragini and Rahul reached.

"Hii Laksh" Rahul shouted waving his hand to make them see him

"there they are" laksh said to his group informing that the wait is over waving back to Rahul as he was approaching him.

"hii Rahul" laksh hugged him "its been quite long we haven't met.. how r you" laksh asked his eyes searching for his lady love.

"I'm good... don't worry she is coming" Rahul saw his eyes searching Ragini " oh there they are" Rahul pointed at swaragini who were busy in their laugh and talk.

He saw Ragini coming from behind with swara. He could not deny that she looked stunning in her simple traditional cloths.

"Hii laksh" totally lost in Ragini Swara's greeting was left un heard

LAKSH!!" now she called more loudly shaking him

"oh hi swara" finally laksh answered leaving Ragini to take the blushing.

"god you two r just to much I think you should be telecasted for a Bollywood

movie you guys will be every ones favorite" swara now a bit irritated because she had enough of this session that Ragini and laksh always took.

Rahul of course could not control and laughed at the idea leaving the lovebirds embarrassed.

"Ok madam now lets go they are waiting" laksh took Ragini and swara Rahul were following them from behind.

" there she is!!" Uttara jumped from her chair and run to Ragini and gave her a warming hug and Ragini hugged her back.

"so we finally meet.. I heard so much about you. I must say bhai she is actually very pretty just like how you described her" Uttara was speaking non stop with so much excitement.

" Uttara r u going to keep her to yourself or let us also meet her" pari jumped in also and gave Ragini a hug. Ragini was really happy with the response she was getting

"Ragini this is Adarsh, bhabi, Sanskar and Uttara" laksh introduced with pointing to the person while saying their names.

as swara and Rahul where silent observers to the introduction that was made a pair of eyes were stilling glances at swara making sure it goes unnoticed. Of course and that was non other than Sanskar our hero. He knew she will be swara because as laksh described she was the only friend of Ragini and she was a bit modern. And from her dressing code he could easily identify her.

"Hii guys" swara extended her hand for hand shake.

After the introduction they went inside as the movie was going to start.

Of course AdaPari and Raglak sat together . swara sat between Uttara and Rahul. And Sanskar was beside Uttara. Swara knew how to mingle with people so easily.. Sanskar who was a victim, he could not concentrate to the movie as swara and Uttara were busy talking and criticizing the movie, how such things are so fake and there is no such heroes in real life. Others where busy on the movie except for Raglak who where romancing secretly as the didn't want any teasing. Laksh was not ready to leave Ragini's hand even after so much protest from her.

As the movie finished. They all decided to go for ice cream before heading home.

Laksh wanted to spend time with Ragini so he told Sanskar to go with Rahul and swara. No one said any thing as they knew they wanted some privacy and time alone. Uttara decide to join swara in their car giving reason that even AdaPari would want to have some romance followed by giggles from swara as she gave a hi-5 to Uttara leaving them embarrassed. Sanskar who was lost looking at swara and her beautiful laugh was tagged by Rahul asking where he was lost

" come man lets go"

scene shifts to Shekhar and Sharmishta(coffee shop which is next to the ice cream parlor-guys I wont drag their story a lot.)

"why did you call me" Sharmishta spat out at Shekhar

"sit down.. you wont be able to stand for long" Shekhar pointed at the chair which was at his opposite. After ordering coffee for both of them

"I know that you still like black coffee" Shekhar said giving a smile to her " Mishti"

"Sharmishta" she corrected him.

"ok Sharmishta.. I know that so many things have happened and I want us to talk it out. Mishti" this time she could not dare stop him. She missed the way he used to call her with full of love and affection and after a long time she heard him today.

" I know that so many things have changed but you also now that one thing has always remained the same... and that is my love for you. Even though I married Janki I could not forget you. I tried a lot but destiny brought you right in front of me. Mishti today I got the biggest truth and happiness of my life I don't want to go away from it any more"

"Shekhar stop it already, nothing can go back to normal you have a daughter. And your mom will never agree to this relation" Sharmishta didn't want to have high hopes. Again. She wont be able to handle the breakdown again. Its not known if she was trying to make him understand or herself. " Shekhar I went through a lot.. when no one was with me including you" Sharmishta choked "I had no but maa and swara im living just for my daughter I cant bare any more pain ... Shekhar our relation gave us nothing but taunts and pain." Tears were now dropping from her beautiful eyes

"Mishti I know that we had to endure a lot but now its time for us to live for our self, for each other, for our daughters." Shekhar kept his hand on her hand looked into her eyes.

"ok Shekhar even if I agree" she could see the happiness in his eyes "what about Ragini?" Sharmishta couldn't stop her self to ask about her. She never had any grudges for Ragini nor for Janki. She has always loved her nature. The way she respected her even after her Dadi trying to manipulate. Her mom Janki died when she was very young.

"don't worry about her I'm sure she will understand. and she really likes you"

"she likes me because she doesn't know the truth.. do you think she will like me the same after knowing?"

"Sharmishta I know that you have always loved her and regarded her as your daughter and im sure even if she will be sad with the truth you will be able to win her heart." Shekhar answered with full determination "now that we are speaking about our daughters...what do you think.. swara will accept me when she knows that her dad left her mother when she needed him the most? I don't know what she might be thinking of me. how much of a coward I'm.." Sharmishta knew him very well that she could tell how guilty he was feeling.

"Shekhar I know that you r very guilty that you could not be there to support us. But the circumstances were such that I could not tell you the truth."

Shekhar wiped his and her tears "Mishti I can't pretend anymore that im happy and I have moved on.. I can't...its time for me to also have my share of happiness...enough of all this hide and sick. Im going to tell ma and bauji. If they yet decide to not accept it we will move out together with..." Shekhar could not believe his eyes. He did want the truth to be out but not this way. Sharmishta seeing Shekhar's gaze elsewhere she also turned.

"swara" that's what came out. she could clearly read her face that she heard their conversation. She was speechless.

(Few minutes ago)

as Rahul stopped his car out side the ice cream parlor they all stepped out of the car and were heading inside. Uttara was ahead with Sanskar leaving Rahul to lock his car, and swara was waiting for him when she noticed Sharmishta at the coffee shop. She thought to meat her mom then join her friend.

"hey Rahul you go on I will meet you guys inside in a sec" swara told Rahul headind to the coffee shop.

"but where r u going"

" I saw ma there I'll meet her and come"

"ok.. come fast"

swara headed to the coffee shop. And Rahul went inside and told Ragini when she asked about her.

(Back to present)

swara left with out saying anything

"Swara" Sharmishta run behind her but she was fast she could not catch up and saw her getting on a rickshaw not able to catch her.

"Shekhar??" she was now really worried

"Mishti don't worry she is very wise I think we should give her time to digest this truth." As Shekhar was consoling Sharmishta Ragini came and saw them

"papa... Sharmishta aunty" leaving them more shocked. "you guys here?...aunty where is swara? Rahul said that she came to meet you we have been waiting for her there"

"Ragini" Rahul came from behind

"Hii uncle Hii aunty...Ragini swara sent me a msg that she was not feeling well so she went home" Shekhar and Sharmishta knew that they had to leave right away and talk to swara.

"She was not feeling well? But she was ok a while ago" Ragini gave a worried look to Rahul. Just then Sharmishta and Shekhar left telling them to not be late.

Ragini knew swara very well. And she had a feeling that something was wrong or else she wouldn't have left all of a sudden. After spending sometime with laksh and his family she left with Rahul.

(In the car)

"Ragini" Rahul called out to her distracting her thoughts. "I have observed you since long you look lost. Is every thing ok."

" Rahul I was thinking of swara.. it's the first time swara left all of a sudden and also by sending a msg. she would always come and tell us face to face she had to leave don't you think that something might have happened?"

"hmm I was also thinking the same.. but don't worry when we reach we will ask her ok" Rahul assured her.

After reaching the Badi Rahul went directly to Dida's house. Ragini could not join cause Dida would not like it. But to a shock she saw Sharmishta and her dad together talking. She has never spotted them together in the Badi and today they were speaking freely. She could see tension on their faces but it cant be for their parents reaction and it was something else. When she went close to them she heard Sharmishta saying

"Shekhar im really worried she wasn't supposed to know the truth in this way..i don't know where she is" Shekhar side hugged her and consoled her saying nothing will happen to swara. Ragini could not believe her ears. She was right something happened which let to her leaving. She had questions where could swara be at this time and what truth r they talking about. Just then Rahul came running.

"Ragini swara is not at home. Dida also doesn't know" this made Shekhar and Sharmishta turn to see Ragini looking at them. Ragini now was really worried she wanted to know where swara is.

"papa.. when swara came to meet aunty it means she saw you both. And what truth is Sharmishta aunty talking about that made her go without informing."

"papa your scaring me.. why don't you just tell me directly."

"Ragini the truth that swara got to know is... is that of her dad." Shekhar took a pause looking at Ragini before continuing

"what that's great news.. she has always wanted to know who her dad is and where he is" Ragini was really happy that Shona's wish was fulfilled but Shekhar interrupted

"Ragini I'm Swara's dad... biological dad. Swara is your sister " a tear dropped from his eyes after seeing Ragini's shocked expressions. That tear included a mixture of emotions. He didn't know if it came out of happiness that swara was his daughter, maybe because of guilt, or because of fear and sadness. He was really scared if Ragini was going to accept the truth.

Shekhar found it important to tell the whole truth to Ragini he didn't not want to delay it anymore.

"Ragini I know that this truth is very painful but it is the truth and we can't deny it. I have always loved Sharmishta and always will and she also knew that. But I have always respected her. Ragini after staying together she has been a good friend who understood me very well even better than my parent. And I was really lucky to have a friend like her. but she also left me. we never know what destiny has planned for us. And look it brought Sharmishta in front of me"

"papa I already knew that you never loved ma and I also knew that you have always respected her. and today I got to know who the love of your life is... And I know you expect me to accept it and understand it ... but I need time." That all Ragini could say to her dad before going inside her house.

Rahul who was a silent observer he didn't know what to do next. Both his friends needed him. He was know afraid if with this truth their childhood friend ship that swaragini had would break.

Ragini went directly to her room and locked the door. So many things came to her mind . she was not sad after knowing this truth. Her Dadi always told her that her mom was never loved because her dad liked someone else. But its not that he never respected her. Dadi would always say that it was not his fault because her dad was spelled with that women. Ragini also read her mom's diary which clearly said she knew the truth and she was ok with it. Maybe that's why she was never angry with her dad. She had the right to ask for time. She was in a situation she was confused of the relations she had. A relation that she had where going to change to another name and for her to get tit down well she needed time.

While she was lost in her own thought she heard a knock. And it was non other that Rahul. A common friend of her's and her best friend swara. Actually sister.

"Ragini open the door I know what situation your in now but we also have to find swara"

"oh shoot.. how could I forget that swara is no where to be seen. She is also in a dilemma like me and god knows where she is. I just hope she is fine." Ragini opened the door and told Rahul that they have to find swara as soon as possible. Rahul was happy to se that the truth didn't impact Ragini and Shona's friendship.

Ragini took out her phone and started calling swara but it was left unanswered. He was really worried.

"Rahul she is not answering.. I just hope she is ok. I know that she will be lost in thoughts and confused with the out turns of our life. we need to find her" a tear dropped from her eyes out of worriedness.

"don't worry we will find her. we will track her through GPS"

After 1 hour finally Swara was tracked. She was at the bridge. Ragini could clearly see that her best friend who recently turned to be her sister was lost.

"So you decided to just leave without saying" ragini said as she sat beside her

"and most importantly without sharing it with us" Rahul added as he sat at the other side.

Swara was just looking at Ragini, her SISTER. She didn't know if it would be right to tell her the truth. Not knowing that she knows already. swara gave her a tight hug. She really needed it after a long day and Ragini happily retroacted.

"Swara I got to know it" swara pulled back to look in to her eyes. She was worried. Swara has always wanted to have a full family where it included siblings. Before even knowing the truth swaragini were like sisters. Now she was scared if she was going to lose this relation she had.

"Ragini I..." swara gave a questioning look

"after we went home I saw papa and Sharmishta aunty talking." Ragini told her the whole story.

Rahul didn't dare to say anything he knew that they had to sort it out themselves

"and what's your take on this?" swara wanted to know what Ragini was feeling.

"swara I have already told you about my mom I don't think I have to say more.."

"no Ragini at that time you didn't know the lady whom your dad loved is my mom" Ragini had shared what she knew about her dad long time back with swara and Rahul. But who knew that destiny would play such games with them. Now their relation was at stake the friend ship that they had kept intact from years was going to change. And it depended on their decisions. Its was time for them to act mature not only for them but their parents also.

After that night swara and Ragini had decided to not take decisions in a hurry and they gave each other time. They both heard what their parents had to say in this. And they had decided to end it all. It was time for their parents to be happy and they will do anything even if they had to go against their grand parents.

After Swaragini's decision to became one family. They tried to persuade Dida and Dadi. But as expected it wasn't that easy. Luckily Dida agreed at the end but Shekhar's parents were adamant to their decision. Shekhar was not going to get emotionally blackmailed again so he decided to move out of the hose together with his daughters and Sharmishta. Dadi tried to convince to not go but she failed.

Sharmishta and Shekhar got married and got settled in another house at the Badi. They were finally happy. Swara got her father and a sister that she had always wished for. So did Ragini, she had never got a motherly love as Janki died when she was really young but Shomi was able to give it to her. she never differentiated between her two daughters. Shomi was not yet accepted by Dadi even after trying a lot but they knew that one day will come that she will accept their relation whole heartedly.

i know that this didn't reach your expectations. i wanted to finish this as early as possible

i promise i will try my best in the upcoming update to include both swasan and raglak and aa small twist
