Chapter 2-
Next morning, we can see Lakshya and Ragini sleeping on the same bed but very distant from each other. Ragini was sleeping in one corner of the bed and Lakshya in the other. The sun rays fall on Lakshya's eyes and he wakes up to see his beautiful wife lying down beside him. She was still sleeping as she had no habit of waking up so early. Moreover, she was too tired and weak to get up so early after crying whole night. But Lakshya was not ready to give up any chance of torturing her. He smirks evilly, goes to the washroom, brings a bucket of cold water and spills it all on Ragini. She gets up immediately, angry as hell.
Ragini- What the f**k do you think you're doing, Lakshya?
Saying this, Ragini raises her hand to slap Lakshya but he holds her hand, turns her around and twists it behind her back causing pain to her. She starts wincing in pain.
Lakshya- Don't even think of doing that again, okay? Don't you dare hit me again! Don't you remember what I did to you last night for slapping me? Do you want me to do it to you again? No, right? So be in your limits and think a hundred times before doing anything against my wish or else you won't like the consequences. What happened to you last night, can happen again!
Ragini gets scared and starts crying.
Ragini- Please leave me, Lakshya. My hand hurts! I promise I won't ever disrespect you again.
Lakshya smirks and leaves her hand.
Lakshya- Good girl! Now go, be my good wife and bring me a cup of coffee.
Ragini- Coffee? But I don't know how to make it.
Lakshya gets angry and shouts.
Lakshya (shouts)- What the f**k have you learnt at your father's house then? Partying? Sleeping till the afternoon? Hanging around? Drinking and all such bullshit? Hasn't he taught you anything? I don't know how you prepare my coffee but I want it as soon as possible. Do you hear me?
Ragini- Okay. I'll take a shower and then bring your coffee.
Lakshya nods in agreement. Ragini runs inside the washroom and starts crying vigorously. She then hears Lakshya's voice yelling from outside.
Lakshya (from outside)- Are you planning to spend your day inside the washroom or something? Come out, fast! I need my coffee.
Ragini wipes her tears.
Ragini- Coming!
Ragini (in mind)- I'll have to do something. I cannot live with this man. I'll have to contact papa anyhow. But I can't even let him know about it. If he gets even a slight hint about my plan, I don't know what he's gonna do to me. I'll have to do it intelligently.
Ragini comes out wearing a bathrobe with wet hair and Lakshya keeps staring at her from top to bottom. She feels uncomfortable.
Ragini- Why are you looking at me like that?
Lakshya- You got an amazing figure, you know? And of course, a velvety smooth skin!
Ragini feels even more uncomfortable and keeps pulling her dress to her knee level. Lakshya laughs on seeing this.
Lakshya- Why so shy, wifey? You're my wife. I have the right to look at you. Moreover, there's no part in your body that I haven't seen last night. Why to hide yourself from me, darling? This is not the first time I'm seeing you half naked.
Ragini gets irritated.
Ragini- You know what? You're a rapist! A pervert, a desperate ass!
Lakshya gets angry.
Lakshya- Rapist? Come on, gimme a break! If I'm a rapist, then you're father is no way different. He is not a saint either. He too is a pervert, a rapist. You know what he did to my family? My father was his business rival. When my father outshined your father in business, your father offered him money to merge both the rival companies. When my father refused to accept this offer, he took revenge for this by raping my mother first right in front of his eyes and then killing him. Not being able to bear all this, my mother committed suicide and I became an orphan just because of your dad. Not only that, he sent his men to rape the mother of your friend, Ruchika! If raping the daughter of the man who raped my mother makes me a rapist, I'm happy to be one!
Ragini starts shouting.
Ragini- Shut up, Lakshya! Do you even realise what the f**k you're speaking? This is all bullshit! I don't believe you.
Lakshya- Who the f**k even cares? Did I ask you to believe me? I don't care if you believe me or not. All you need to keep in mind is that you are now my wife and anything you do against my wish shall be considered a sin and I'll punish you for that. Now stop wasting time here and go bring my coffee!
Ragini wipes her tears and goes near the wardrobe.
Lakshya- I asked you to bring my coffee! Where are you going?
Ragini- To change my clothes. I cannot go downstairs wearing a bathrobe.
Lakshya nods and sits on the bed working on his laptop. Ragini goes downstairs and while walking, she sees a landline phone and dials her father's number hiding behind a table. But everytime she tried, the phone gave her same response "No Connection". She then hears Lakshya's voice from behind and jumps in shock and fear. She was too scared to turn around.
Lakshya- Calling my father in law, sweetheart?
Ragini gulps down a pulp of saliva out of fear and turns around. Lakshya could sense her fear. She was all sweaty.
Ragini (stammering)- No, I...I wa...was just che...checking if the phone works.
Lakshya laughs on hearing this.
Lakshya- I knew you would do something like this so I already disconnected all the phones before marriage.
Ragini- What? Are...are you crazy? This is one hell of a shitty place. I cannot live here. Let me go!
Lakshya- You can't, babe! You're the daughter in law of this house and by law, you're meant to stay here. You belong to me. Anyways, is my coffee ready?
Ragini- I'm not getting you any coffee, okay? I don't consider this marriage. I'm still unmarried. I love Rishav and I'll marry him. I don't belong to you. Just let me go!
Lakshya comes close to her, grabs her waist and pulls her close.
Lakshya (whispers)- Well, you don't belong to anyone more than you belong to me. And after last night, I've come to know that you never belonged to Rishav or any other guy. Nobody had ever touched you . You bled and you were in pain. You were a virgin and I was your first one and hence, you belong to me and only me. Whoever tries to come between us, will have to face death!
Ragini pushes Lakshya away and looks at him in disgust.
Ragini (cries and shouts)- You know what? You're disgusting! You don't even deserve to be called a man. Real men don't rape. And your words, they're so cheap! I feel dirty, dirty that you had been able to touch me. I should just kill myself for being touched by your filthy hands. I despise you, Lakshya Maheshwari! I despise you!
Saying this, she runs upstairs to their room and locks herself up. Lakshya closes his eyes. A happy picture of him, his mother and his father flashes in front of his eyes. He then remembers how his mother was raped, his father was killed and his mother committed suicide. How he lost everything he had, his happiness! Tears flow down from his eyes. He wipes them and opens his eyes. He had fire in his eyes, a type of fire which could be extinguished only through revenge.
Lakshya- Mr. Shekhar Gadodia, brace up cause THE GAME HAS JUST BEGUN!
Saying this, Lakshya smirks evilly.
