Hi, I'v been a neutral viewer on this forum for a while and I just wanted to share a thought on Swaragini that I've been harbouring for a while. I feel that the creatives have always wanted to portray Ragini as a negative character and want her to stay negative. From the beginning itself, they have tried to make her less relatable to viewers than Swara(I mean no insult to Swara or Ragini, it's just my observation), so that when they turned her negative, it won't spark a huge controversy. Then they made Ragini do illogical and criminal acts (like attempting to kill her sister) so that viewers would hate her.
When Tejaswi tried to quit, they could have gradually tried to turn her positive. Instead they made Ragini attempt to humiliate her mother-in-law (as if to show that she's irredeemable) and illogically turned her positive. Her redemption journey too hasn't been convincing thus far. It's as though they don't want viewers to accept a positive Ragini so that they can convince Tejaswi to turn negative again (by pointing out to her that majority of viewers aren't accepting her a positive character). After all, if they don't have a permanent villain for TRPs sake(like Ragini), they would have to come up with new villains like Kavya and Kavitha (which they can't sustain for long or else viewers will get irritated). Either wise, they would have to go the SSK way, which I don't think they want to. It's just my theory. What do you all think?
