Over the last few days(ok maybe weeks) different situations/plot points have evoked this reaction from me...Abbey Yaar helps me channel my disbelief at the lack of logic in a more euphemistic manner !!
While looking at the new promo/precap and reading about some of the OLVs...I had an epiphany and used abbey yaar in a totally different manner. More like the oh the penny finally drops way.
What epiphany you ask...basically this show is not about Swara or Ragini...but for the longest time has been Sanskaar ki Shaadi *SKS hence forth*
Basically every important junction is about Sanskaar Ki Shaadi===> broken,fake,forced,scheduled,forced again...whatever the nature, but baat toh hai Sanskaar ki Shaadi..
And if you recollect every prime character is involved in this..
1. Durgaprasad and co : Opposing the first Shaadi with Kavita.
SKS theme : Rebellion, elopement,fake murder
State of SKS : Incomplete
Result : Insanity and Revenge
2. Swara and Dida : Garland all the way
SKS Theme : Just Fake it Baby
State of SKS : Led to another SKS
Result : loss of handkerchiefs, petty sibling fights, sindoor, couch issues all culminating into being an arsonist
3. Ragini : Saali will get you poori gharwali
SKS Theme : budget khatam...hall mein niptao
State of SKS : Fake Divorce
Result : Kidnapping, love confessions, A R Rahman soundtracks
4. Kavita : Jaa beta jeele apni zindagi
SKS Theme : Fairytale meets Tim Burton
State of SKS : Arrested
Result : Ghostly Divinations
5. Kavita Again : what goes around comes around
SKS Theme : Duress, Blackmail
Result : Will probably lead to another SKS
So there you go...basically everything has led to and will in future lead to SKS...Now if that is not louve for the lead then what is !!
