Ragini and Laksh OS: leaving is the best decision
Ragini really thought that Laksh, he love, life and soul mate loved her but little did she know he was using her for his own gain. He used her to what was precious to him and he cared about. For the people he loved. He did not care about her, love her she has known this for few days and she was sorting things out, because she knew that this was the end of the road for her and Laksh's relationship, if you can call it that. She has been fighting for their marriage, her love for almost a year but there was no positive outcome.
She was mentally preparing herself to live him; this life she was living, this family who she thought was hers, this up bringing she had. These people who made her into this heartless person she is now. They thought she didn't care or have a heart, but they all knew she did what she did for her love and the one person who she ever thought was hers. Her love her husband. She never had a person in her life who she could say was hers. Her mum leaving her, dad didn't have time for her, dadi was just controlling, dada was just there he didn't have any say in anything.
Shomi she thought was her mum but she never had the mother daughter bonding with her like Swara did, Swara was her sister but after everything that happened they were not the same, things had changed and they changed for worse. Nani who was nice and sensible but she never had the heart to heart talk with her and they never really hit it off.
Laksh was the only person she thought she could trust and love but she didn't know that he would not like her because of the way she was, shy, innocent then she changed herself for him but he hated her now. At least before they could have been friend but now they were enemies well that's what Laksh has in his head. He hates her, never loved and she knows now he never will.
But this what she heard now has killed her completely if that is possible, she was playing along with his games the last few days because she wanted to see if he will tell her what he is doing any time soon or realise what he was or did do to and with her was wrong, but there was no sign of him regretting anything and this was it for her she was ready to let him go. She didn't want him to know that she knows he is playing games with her but let him know when she was leaving, because she needed few days to sort out everything before she could go. Once she left she didn't want to come back because of anyone or anything here, as far as she was concerned there is nothing and no one here for her.
No one will miss her and no one will need her, dadi had dada, Shomi had Shekar, Swara had Sanksar and Laksh he has his freedom which he wanted for the time she was with him. He was struggling to stay with her, she felt like he was finding it hard to breath with her being around him. She will make him live again by leaving him forever.
She could have confronted him when she found out with truth but she didn't because she knew if she spoke then things will get bad to worse and she didn't want that she couldn't leave him yet and there was no point in making the situation awkward she had to try and stay away from him as much as she could and leave him when she was ready. Every time they were she tried to find always to be away from him.
She was walking to the kitchen because she saw AP going to the kitchen she wanted to talk to AP and ask her if she needed any help, but she didn't know Laksh was there and they both were talking about her. she knew that she shouldn't stand outside listen to the conversation but she thought what the hell they were talking about her and she was leaving anyways it doesn't make a difference.
AP: Laksh what are you saying, so you know what you are doing? What you are doing is wrong Laksh don't do that
Laksh: mum I know what I am doing and this is right
Ragini what is right and why is AP telling him he is wrong and he should do that
AP: Laksh you got deceived Ragini into signing the divorce papers and now this, what is wrong with you?
Laksh: she hasn't changed, when I asked her to sign the papers so Sanskar and Swra's marriage cant take place she signed it
AP: you shouldn't have done that you know she loves you and she will do anything for you and your love, she has started to change because if your love
Laksh: I don't care if she has changed or not mum
AP: what you are doing is wrong Laksh, you are going to hurt her again, I hope you in the next few days you will think really hard before you make any rush decision
Ragini had tears on her face, she wiped them composed herself and went in to the kitchen, she didn't want AP or Laksh to think she heard them. She smile a bit walked in and saw Laksh was facing her direction and AP was cutting something. She walked past Laksh and went to AP.
Ragini: mum do you need help, can I help you with anything
AP: no Ragini, I am okay thank you
Ragini: sorry did I disturb you guys, I feel like I walked in at the wrong time, you both have gone so quiet. Is everything okay?
AP: everything is fine Ragini and no you didn't walk in at the wrong time
Ragini: if you are sure, I can go if you both need some privacy
All this time Ragini didn't look at Laksh she was looking at AP and talking she was afraid she looked at him then she would break down and start to cry and she didn't want to do that not yet any way n front of him.
Laksh was just standing there was not saying anything just looked at Ragini and AP talking, Ragini was acting as if he wasn't there, he hoped she didn't hear him or did she, he thought no if she did she would have said something. He wanted to walk out and leave AP and Ragini alone, but something stopped him. He wanted to see how Ragini interacts with AP.
Ragini: mum can I ask you something?
AP: sure, what is it?
Ragini: did you and dad know each other before you both got married?
AP: no, we met on the engagement day
Ragini: did dad know about you before your engagement?
AP: I think so his family knew about me, and my family told them everything we didn't hide anything from them so they must have told him
Ragini: what were you like before marriage?
AP: I was quiet, I use to think what people told me was right, I use to respect and listen to elders, just like you before your marriage, I still remember how shy you were and respectful you were
Ragini: so dad got engaged with you and you both got married?
AP: yes
Ragini: when did you both fall in love? Between marriage and engagement, straight after marriage or after having your kid/s?
AP: I think things started changing after the engagement but I think we fell in love with each other after marriage, but your dad was the first one he confessed to me it was embarrassing AP smiled remembering the day
Ragini: mum you are lucky and I am happy for you
AP: lucky? How?
Ragini: dad and you got engaged and got married no-one or nothing came between you both. Look at me how many times I got engaged then got married in such way that it should have happened, I gave everyone pain.
AP: Ragini forget what happened and move on in life
Laksh was standing there listening to their conversation Ragini had her back to Laksh so he couldn't see her face or see reactions, the way AP and Ragini were talking he knew Ragini was talking about their relationship and how they got engaged and he broke it off.
Ragini: I am trying mum but its not easy and people not letting me move on, there is a constant remind of what I did and it's not giving me peace
AP: Ragini you cannot leave in the past you have to move forward
Ragini: thank you mum, if I had mum maybe she would have guided me the right way she would have told me what I was doing was wrong maybe she would have stopped me from the mistakes I made, but there is no going back now and tears came out of her eyes. AP wiped her tears, thank you mum.
AP: Ragini now I am your mum and I will guide you and give you the love you never got form you mum
Ragini: how long will you be my mum for? Sh smiled bitterly
AP: what do you mean Ragini?
Ragini: nothing mum ignore me, I am just talking rubbish
Laksh was thinking what she meant by that, did she know that he was going to throw her out of the house and his love.
Ragini: if I ask you something will you think about it?
AP: sure what is it?
Ragini: will you please try to forgive me for all the I did and the pain I cause you and everyone else in this house, I didn't think about how much I was hurting you all. I was blind in love mum and I did everything to get the person who meant the world to me mum, but little did I know that what I was doing was wrong, there was no forcing anyone to love you, no point in fighting for a relationship which was never meant to be and I forgot that there was no one in this world who will love me or care for me. First my mum left me, then dadi controlled me, dad was too busy for me and dada he was just in his own world. I am really very sorry for everything I did mum, I hope you can forgive me one day.
AP: Ragini stop talking like that you have a family who love you and care for you, we all will be there for you, you have us now.
Ragini: I don't have you or anyone here mum, no one in this house wants me to stay here in this house, and everyone wants me to leave. I think everyone is praying and hoping for me to leave. They will be fee when I leave and they will celebrate the day I walk out of the door. Mum I came to see you for another reason, can you come with me please.
AP: what is it Ragini?
Ragini: mum please come with me I will not take more than 15/20 minutes of your time.
AP: okay lets go, Laksh you still standing there I thought you were going somewhere?
Laksh didn't answer he was stunned at what Ragini said she didn't have anyone and no one wanted her to stay she definitely knows what he is or was up. He followed Ragini and AP to their room. Ragini knew he would follow them and she wanted him too, he will find out for himself what she wanted with AP.
Ragini went to the draw took some papers outs and gave them to AP.
Ragini: please take these give the property papers to dad and these are divorce papers give them to Laksh for me.
AP was shocked.
Ap: Ragini what are you saying, you are giving the property papers to me?
Ragini: I have signed them and transferred everything to dads name, I wanted to give them to you because I don't have the courage to face dad after everything that has happened so please give them to and hope he can forgive me one day
AP: and these holding up the divorce papers?
Ragini: I also want you to give them to Laksh, because I know it will make him happy, he will be thrilled he has been waiting for these papers for months, it was me who was delaying in giving them to him
AP: Ragini you cannot get divorced you are husband and wife?
Ragini smiled bitterly.
Ragini: no mum we are not husband and wife, I always thought of Laksh as my husband, my life, my soul mate he meant the world to me mum, I thought in this life he was the only person who will be mine and no one else's but I was wrong, I was meant to live my life all alone and unhappy. Wherever I thought I will get some happiness something or someone came and snatched it off me. my mum left shomi ma came that didn't last long, Laksh came thought he was mine but no he loved someone else and that too my sister, Sanskar came thought he was my friend but he used me and left me alone. I came here thought I got a one nice big family but it's not my family never was and never will be. Anyways no point in going on about me and my life. Just please give them the papers and I pray you all be happy always.
Ragini walked to her cupboard took out a bag started packing her things she got from her dads when she came to this house.
Ragini: all the jeweller are here on the left draw, the shoes/sandals are there on the small cupboard and the clothes here in here she showed AP the big wardrobe. Here she took out the engagement ring and place it on AP hands. She took out all the other jewellery gave it to AP, finally she held her mangle sutra tears came out she tried to hold them but no use the came out. She took it off and gave it to AP, this was never mine mum and never will be. AP was standing there in the place could move or say anything she was too shocked, Ragini was leaving and she is give everything back she is not taking anything with her. Ragini walked ot the bathroom and came back in 2 mins. She changed in to a salwar suit she use to wear before marriage and she wiped the sindoor off as well.
AP: Ragini you cannot take the sindoor off an the mangle sutra you are married, these are symbols of a married woman.
Ragini: I am not married anymore mum, I took everything off and signed the papers.
AP turned around and saw Laksh there he saw and heard everything.
AP: Laksh say something, do something why are you just standing there?
Ragini: mum one more thing after I leave don't shout at Laksh or be angry at him, it is not his fault, I was the one who forced him to marry, me saty with me, bear me, hate me and want revenge form me, I don't blame him you shouldn't either. I hope Laksh will fall in love with someone and get married and be happy, I was the reason he couldn't leave happily or breath in peace. I wish I had realised before that I was fighting a losing battle I was never going to win, he never said he wanted me or to spend his life with me. he always said he hated me and I didn't deserve anyone's love and he was right. Mum one sided love can take you so far but it cannot make a marriage last forever, I understand that now I wish I understood this before.
AP: Laksh care for you Ragini, please don't do this, don't leave?
Ragini with a smile mum he never cared for me, he never respected me, he never wanted to marry me, he never wanted to me with me. Last few weeks he pretended to love me because he wanted to get me to sign the divorce papers and the property papers. He doesn't care if I change or not, he wants me to leave from his life and that is what I am doing, I hope he will be happy now.
AP: Ragini..
Ragini: no mum its okay I know where I am not wanted, any I just hope that Laksh never plays with anyone's else's feeling again, because he has killed me from within, I hope he doesn't do that to anyone else. I knew for few days what he was up to but I couldn't leave needed to make sure the papers were correct, because when I leave I didn't want to show my face to anyone here ever again.
Ragini bent down, touched AP feet and got up folded her hands in front of AP, I hope you can forgive me, take care of yourself and your family mum, always be happy.
AP started crying she knew Ragini did wrong things bad she wasn't bad and she did actually change for good this time. Laksh stood there didn't get time to say anything Ragini walked past him with her bag, she didn't even look at him not once, it was as if he wasn't there in the room at all.
Ragini walked out, she left everything and everyone she knew once behind for good.
I know its rubbish but wrote it because i was angry after watching the OLV, guys hope you dont all hate me
