Chapter 12:-
We can see that Lakshya is out partying with Tina while Ragini is waiting to have dinner with him. PRM sees her.
PRM- Ragini, he won't come now. It's already 12 AM. Have your dinner, daughter.
Ragini- No papa, he's my husband. How can I eat before him?
PRM- But Ragini, he has a habit of skipping meals. He might not eat even tonight. Will you also skip your dinner if he does so?
Ragini- Of course, papa. You please don't worry and go to sleep. I'll be fine.
PRM- Sure?
Ragini- Yes, papa.
PRM leaves, leaving Ragini alone at the dining table. At around 2 AM, Lakshya enters home drunk with Tina. He sees Ragini waiting for him. Ragini sees Tina with him and gets shocked.
Ragini- Lakshya, are you okay? Did you drink again? I told you not to drink. You never listen to me.
Lakshya (drunk)- Why shall I listen to you? Who are you to me? Look Ragini, you may be dad's daughter in law. But you'll never be my wife, okay? Don't behave like a wife.
Saying this, Lakshya loses balance and falls on Ragini. The scene looked as if they are hugging. The only difference is that none of them is holding each other. Lakshya's head was on Ragini's shoulder. He is out of his senses. He has no idea that he is hugging Ragini.
Tina (to Ragini)- Take us to his room, Ragini.
Ragini- Us? What do you mean by "us"?
Tina- Me and him.
Ragini- Oh hello! He is my husband now. This is not office. This is my house and the man you're planning to sleep with, is my husband. Do whatever you want at office but right now, he is my husband and I, being a wife, wouldn't tolerate any other girl with my husband. Do I sound clear?
Tina- I'll make you pay for this, Ragini. I swear!
Ragini- First of all, call me Ma'am. I'm your boss's daughter in law. Understood?
Tina leaves angrily and Ragini takes Lakshya to their room and puts him on the bed. She opens his shoes, socks and covers him with a blanket. She then sleeps near him, gently carressing his hair. She also falls asleep near him. Next morning after waking up, Lakshya gets the biggest shock of his life. He sees Ragini sleeping near him, hugging him. He tries to wake her up but seeing her beautiful, innocent face, he decides to let her sleep while he is busy admiring her beauty. He gently touches her cheeks. Her skin felt so soft. Smooth as silk, soft as velvet! Her lips were like petals of red roses. Her closed eyes were prettier than anything else in the world. A smile automatically comes to his lips. He leans closer to her lips and just when their lips are about to meet, he realises what he's doing and backs off immediately.
Lakshya (in mind)- What the f**k was I doing? What's wrong with me?
Lakshya- Ragini! Ragini, wake up.
Ragini wakes up in a jerk and realises that she is sleeping near Lakshya, the man she has always loved. She immediately gets up from the bed and runs to the washroom. After a while, she comes out and runs to the kitchen. Lakshya now goes to take bath and after coming out, he finds the room very well set and organised so it was quite tough for him to find his things.
Lakshya (shouts)- Ragini!
Ragini (shouts back)- Coming!
Ragini runs to her room.
Ragini- Do you need something, Lakshya?
Lakshya- Yeah. My watch, handkerchief, shoes, socks, tie, clothes, everything!
Ragini gives him everything one by one while Lakshya just keeps looking at every action of hers. Suddenly, a question strikes his mind.
Lakshya- Ragini?
Ragini- Hmm?
Lakshya- Did I...Um, you know, did I...
Ragini- Did you what?
Lakshya- You know I was drunk last night and you were sleeping near me, so did I try to touch you? I'm very sorry if I did. I wasn't in my sense. I had no idea what I was doing.
Ragini- You didn't.
Lakshya- I knew it! See, even alcohol can't get me close to you.
Ragini- Well, neither am I dying to sleep with you! Had I wished to sleep around, there wouldn't be a shortage of men who would literally give up anything to have me.
Lakshya gets angry and grabs her left arm. Ragini flinches in pain.
Ragini- Lakshya! Let me go.
Lakshya- How dare you say this? You're mine! Do you get it? I'm your husband and I wouldn't tolerate such words from you ever again. Am I clear?
Ragini- Lakshya, you're hurting me.
Lakshya- Your words hurt me more. Don't say such things again.
Lakshya leaves Ragini's arm and leaves the room, leaving her alone.
