Ragini's pov:
I was waiting like for an hour now. I had Started thinking if my decision to help laksh in his studies was right or wrong but it was too late to change it now. I was wrapped in my thoughts when I saw him coming. But somehow it made me angry. He was one hour late, he had nothing with him except his car keys which he had wrapped in his finger and he was rotating it.
Ragini-" hum poore 1 ghante se intezar kar rahe hai aapka. Apko agar koi interest hi nahi hai padai me to phir ye sab kyu?"
He looked at me surprisingly
Laksh-" I am sorry ragini mai janta hu mai late ho gaya hu par itna gussa?
I felt a little embarrassed. Did I get so angry?
Ragini-" nahi aisi baat nahi hai I mean aap late aaye hai aur aapke paas ek single note book bhi nahi hai"
Laksh-" ha wo actually mai bhul gaya tha. Tum mujhe koi spare note book lend kar sakti ho?"
I didn't know what to say on this. Ab mujhe notebook bhi lend karni padegi.
Khair I had to and we finally started our first lesson together.
Laksh's pov
I was late and she was angry. No woman had ever been angry with me not even my mother. So her reaction surprised me. More because I considered her a shy, submissive kind of girl. On top of that I had forgotten my notebook. Wow how embarrassing!
But I had to convince her that I am interested in learning. So I asked her to lend me her notebook.
Finally we started our first lesson together.
Ragini-" Do you know how to find the GDP?"
I was looking at her like a 7 year old child would if you'll ask him a 10th standard question "
Laksh-" GDP yup I know, I know umm... Which subject?"
She was shocked. Damn it wrong impression
Ragini-" so you don't. Economics GDP is related to economics. Gross domestic product "
I was lost but for the first time in my life I was really understanding everything in a subject. How come dad never found a good tutor for me?
For the next one hour she continued teaching me and like a good student I kept moving my head. Finally she closed the book and said-" kuch samajh aaya?
Laksh-" haan bulkul waise tum achhi teacher ho?"
Ragini-" thanks. I hope tum ek baar ye revise kar lena .Agar koi doubt ho to kal discuss karte hai"
Ragini was leaving when I called her
Laksh-" ragini "
She looked back
Ragini-" huh?"
Laksh-" can I have you contact number "
Ragini-" sure."
We exchanged our numbers and before leaving she said-" koi problem ho to call kar Lena but please zyada raat me nahi"
Laksh-" OK sure "
Ragini-" bye"
Laksh-" bye"
It is only after she left that I thought padai karna to mere plan me nahi tha par ye to sach me pada gayi.
Ragini's pov
I was a little late. Dadi was waiting for me.
Dadi-" chori itni der kar di aane me?"
Ragini-" wo dadi kisi ko tuition de rahi thi"
Dadi-" arre chori chotte bachhe the to ghar bula leti"
I was in a dilemma. Pta nahi dadi ye sunkar kaise react karengi ke hum uss ladke ko pada rahe hai
Ragini-" dadi wo...hum Jose pada rahe hai wo wahi ladka hai"
Dadi's expressions changed.
Dadi-" ve ko padane ki kya zarurat thi tujhe. Maine thare se kaha tha na uss se door rehne ko"
Ragini-" dadi aap galat samajh rahi hai wo padai me thada kamzor hai isliye maine uski help kar di"
Dadi-" laado bas tu savdhaan rehiyo"
I don't know what effect her words had on me but I really wanted her to be wrong about this.
