Amazing letter Vaibhi, you have brilliantly penned down Swara's POV & her complaints 🤗 also the letter is pretty direct & sarcastic at some places which makes it even better 😉
First point I totally agree with. Even I had raised it in KDR once. Sanskaar saying you 'used' me, never sat well with me. During her Maa-Baba mission, Sanskaar willingly agreed for fake marriage in order to assauge his own guilty conscience & rectify all his past deeds which affected Swara, those were not just mistakes but pretty heinous crimes tbh & Sanskaar redeemed for them by helping Swara in her mission. When SwaSan's real marriage was taking place, Sanskaar again willingly went through the whole thing & nobody was at fault here cos Shomi's life was at stake & nothing is more important than saving her. Then comes mission RagYa, where Swara actually gave Sanskaar an out, asking him to go back to his life cos she's guilty enough for dragging him through her missions & as a friend wants him to lead a better life. Sanskaar here himself told her that he'll be helping her, she has right over him & it is his decision about what to do with his life & whether to help her or not so Sanskaar's claims that Swara used him are completely null here.
Regarding him saying how Swara only wants to be mahaan, no she doesn't. I do agree with Sanskaar when he had said that Swara suffers from making everything alright complex & always seeking to play happy families but saying that she 2ants to known as mahaan is just not done. If Swara is like that, it is because of her deeply rooted insecurities which stem from her childhood, the craving for love & family. It is this selfless & caring Swara that Sanskaar has fallen for & if Swara changes this aspect of her character, she won't be HIS Swara anymore, just a shell of her.
You know sometimes I feel that Sanskaar is pretending (made a post on a theory where Sanskaar's behavior can be fully justified) & other times it feels like CV's are doing this on purpose. It's like they realised that they have created a perfect male hero, having all favorable characteristics & flaws in him, who viewers are able to relate much more than they can to their confused female lead. Swara had actually become the most disliked character from the whole show due to her confused behavior & her scenes with Laksh, which just didn't go down well with the viewers. Add to that her utter disregard for her own marriage while being hypocritical towards RagYa marriage & TRP audiences started abhoring her. On the other hand, we have Sanskaar, the guy who can die & kill for his love, can stand up against anyone for her, can keep KC fast for her without any expectations, care for her family more than she does, in short the perfect lover. This was actually a role reversal where Sanskaar looked more like the perfect serial bahu, waiting for his spouse to return his affections 😆 CV's seem to have suddenly realised that generally it is the male lead who's supposed to be the confused, unaffected, angry young man while the heroine should be the selfless lover & now they are adamant to go by the rule book & are willing to destroy their own unique creation in order to join the regular bandwagon. If this us actually the case for Sanskaar's behavior, well it's a pity that the makers decided to go by the rulebook & destroy a character, that was so unique, so special & so real :(
