The villain and the lead should both be game planners (like ek hasina thi).

Nice example yaar, of that film Ek Hasina Thi.

It would have been so good had they shown an intelligent battle between Sanskaar & Swara on one side, and Ragini on the other. Where each side uses their brains and strategies to capture control of the business, wealth and home. But here, it has been reduced to a very kiddish kind of struggle.

I would have so liked to see Ragini and sanskar fight it out...logical game...played thoughtfully. I love this show ...but right now I too am getting in the territory of say I loved this show, I am seeing Ragini play silly games of ego. Sanskar almost playing in the background that it is not even seen, Swara employing tactics that is leaving me pulling my hair and then being weak girl almost a dull version of the one we saw before. Too much kitchen politics, unnecessary forced drama ...

Yep they are showing quite kiddish and stupid things to show ragini as the big bad evil (not) what I am hoping is all these silly antics are just filler episodes till the end of the Dec cause of less people watching ! And the real story will start from Jan with the entry of the new vamp and hopefully a worthy one ! By then swaSan have sorted out some of their differences to fight the big bad new evil !

Seriously yaar, characters are being made to turn almost 180 degree turns, with no logic whatsoever. In Dadi's case, she has moved from evil to not-so-bad, to good, back to evil, back to good, and back to evil again, without any coherence whatsoever.

Isn't she the one who kept saying, that if her precious Laado was in the wrong, she herself would punish her? And after Ragini's confession CD came out, Dadi was so furious with her, she wouldn't even speak with her. What happened suddenly now? Its not as if Ragini is doing anything correct presently. Why is Dadi supporting her at all? And why is she back to victimizing Swara, to whom she abjectly apologized not so long back?

Mind boggling!

and to top it all the way daadi is behaving is so not like her earlier attitude even in the start she was bad but not greedy and not letting ragini do anything bad.. and i cant find any reason for her behavior with swara . she not having any problem with shomi .. if no prob with shomi then y only with swara 😲

Completely agree with u Viji...its not even funny anymore reading abt these silly domestic quarrel scenes ... fr my part ive completely stopped watching the show and only sometimes watch some swasan scenes if someone has posted something nice abt them. Tho this washcloth and water throwing scene i had caught in a precap a couple of days bck and thought it awfully cringeworthy. I wonder why this ragini drama is being dragged so much when most viewers r just desperate fr swasan swasan and more swasan.
I find Ragini's torture of the maheshwaris also so unnecessary and unfair as even when her evil truth was out she had never been treated so badly by them. Okay so she is avenging laksh's treatment of her but on some of the innocent family members? This show has stopped making sense to me since a long time and the only reason m still on this forum is fr the love of swasan and the beautiful ff's by some wonderful writers tht keep me going

...the standard of this show is crashing day by day... is this the plot / track you want to show on national television CVs ???🤢 .. but what else can you expect when the other show of this PH is showing dayans as its main characters and the lead of the show is also turned into one.. 🤢

Aaaooowww Gaaawwwdd Uma 😊 I saw the ad for that other show you're talking about, and nearly fell off the sofa laughing. 😆 Yeah, I guess compared to that, what is being shown in our fave show is completely rational. 😉

But I just wish they would show an intelligent, engrossing battle between Sanskaar (and Swara) on one side, and Ragini on the other. All these crazy makaan malkin type of politics just don't make the cut.

I just can't the point of them being illogical. I got that for them its all about business and high ratings , they have to add twists and entertainments ,then why not in proper and logical way!! this is I think "question of the century" in Indian television world.

Hey Toshi...🤗

I was waiting to see some amazing strategies being thought out by Sanskaar (who is by far, the smartest of the Maheshwaris, probably smarter than the rest put together), to beat Ragini at her own game.

But instead what do we get? Throwing glasses of water all around. Yaar ok, Ragini has to be shown as the villain. But there has to be a reason to her behavior, a method to her madness, Why would she fling wash cloths and glasses of water, with no rhyme or reason? She wants to make MM wasis suffer? For what? They always supported her, showed her preference as compared to Swara. Why victimize them?

And someone in MM land should answer this basic question which has been bugging viewers for so long now: Where is Ragini's confession CD which was recorded at the farmhouse? Why are they not using it to counter blackmail Ragini???

@bold: I have been wondering too...it is absolutely idiotic that the Maheswaris gave in to Dadi's blackmail for getting Lakshya out of jail! Why did not at least one of them give a counter threat of putting Ragini in jail? I am really put off by the lack of logic!

but what you say about villains is so true. It is the capacity of the villain which holds the power of the hero in a story. There are some incidents even where we follow a certain story for its villain not the hero...when sanskar had been the villain that was the case for me...
I had not admired his actions but rather the brilliance he pulled them out with, the sheer cold smartness behind his plotting and the power of his dark image it had been that dark background which made the light swara shine brighter!
nowadays when I see ragini's portrayal I wonder if it's the same show or not. I'm no fan of negativity but here I am disappointed.

Hey Saku dear...🤗 🤗

I agree with you completely about the capacity of the villain actually elevating the capacity of the hero. If the dark side is shown to be awe inspiring in a sense, powerfully wily and cunning, it only boosts the caliber of the good side, and our respect for the sterling qualities of the hero, in being able to vanquish/ redeem such a foe.

I had a similar experience as you as regards initial impressions of Sanskaar when he was a gray character. I have been watching the show from the beginning, but my interest only really picked up, when Sanskaar entered as such an intense antagonist, who inspired wariness and even a touch of fear at his diabolic quest for revenge. It wasn't admiration, it wasn't condoning his actions. His methods were horrible, no doubt. But as you said, there was that cold strategic thinking, that plotting, which made the good side appear all the brighter in contrast.

I really hoped for a battle royale, a cerebral, intelligent, strategic war. But instead we get this...dousing other people on the face, flinging wash cloths at them. God, I hope they do a rapid course correction.
