A Swasan Fairytale

part 1

Long ago there lived a young fairy in the fairyland, unlike the other fairies she wasn't allow to fly freely in the sky or roam around on earth

whenever she asked about it...she was told that "She's different"

One day she sat on her balcony looking down on earth and found all lightened beautifully , she asked a star to come close and asked

"can you please tell me whats happening down on earth??"

The star looked at her surprisingly and wondered how can she not know

"You never flew on earth on 24th december??" the star asked

She shooked her head very innocently and whispered "No", "my mother will allowed me out of my chamber"

the star looked at her in pity and said, " those lights are to Celebrate Christmas one of the biggest festival ever on earth" he enlightened her

As she heard him, she ran to her mother asking more

"why wouldn't you let me go ob earth? i am now twenty and very much eligible to take care of myself , fairies younger to me has been allowed to go on earth? why not me???" a white pearl rolled out of her eyes as she complained to her mother

"Swara!!! i understand how do you feel but there's a reason why i wouldn't let you go" she stroked her daughters hairs

"i want to know the reason" she was determined for the very first time

"fine then!" she was defeated by her daughter and thought its furtile to hide the truth from her

She sat next to her mother, catching the pearl which rolled down her cheeks , and she realized it was going to be serious

"Your father is a human, he was one of the best ruler on earth, people from his kingdom was always very happy, specially on Christmas, his kingdom used to be decorated the most beautiful & magical we fairies always used to go down and enjoy the magic of christmas, it was soo beautiful and pure , we Soon fell in love and bonded in the pure bond of marriage and after 4 years , we were blessed with our beautiful princess on 24 december at 00.00, your father was the happiest man ever that day! We lived as a happy family and were blessed with another daughter Ragini until your 5th birthday, a godman came and told us , our happiness will not be long durated as you will b soon taken by a witch who will...sacrifice you as a key to her immortality!!" she shivered as she heard her mother

"But why me and if i have a sister why wasnt she affected ????" She could feel her hands trembling in fear

"Because you are one with a fairy and mortal blood, you are one who was the result of pure love, mine and your father, your father's generosity and my kindness are our blessing to you, if you will be sacrificed, powers and immortality will be gifted to her but your sister though our child was never a fairy, she is a normal human which saved her from it all" she explained

"and what happened to father and my Sister????" she questioned fearing for them whom she never saw

"when we came to know about the prophecy, we decided to ask a way to the fairygod mother, and she said you will be safe in fairyland , as soon as you will be out of fairyland boundary, nobody will be stop her from taking you away, your father refused to leave his kingdom and his people, and he refused to let you live alone here, so i left ragini to him knowing she will be his support to live and came here with you" she felt guilt engulfing her as she heard her father and sister had to be away from her mother because of her, but no she was not a coward so many years her parents had to live separately why now?? She will not sit in a room her entire life and let her parents suffer and her sister deserves to know about her mother and her , how she wished to have a friend to share all, and she had her already on earth

"i refuse this life maa!!! i refuse having to stay like this, there must be a way to put an end to all of this!" she was Swara not a coward , tell me maa if theres any way to break this curse, i will do anything

She reluctantly said, "there is one Swara but we could never understand the meaning of the puzzle given by the Godman, he said "the one who united day and night shall be freed by the half of her heart under the magical tree"

She left the room with a heavy heart as she looked at her daughter breaking in tears

The puzzle rang in her head and she continued thinking what could it mean

"If not here, then on Earth, but i will definitely find the meaning" she released her wings and looked down "m sorry maa but i will have to do it for us"

Nice...😊i remembers my school days in free hours I used to sit in library and read only fairy tales...thanq for for this and made to me go back to my past...

I was hiding it from cvs😛 , they might butcher it too like Swasan love story 😕

Part 2

The puzzle rang in her head and she continued thinking what could it mean

"If not here, then on Earth, but i will definitely find the meaning" she released her wings and looked down "m sorry maa but i will have to do it for us

"Dear flowing Wind, be one with my wings and take me where my father and sister breathes" as she recited that, her wings fluttered against the wind and she flew out of the fairyland boundary, she was amazed how beautiful the earth looked, it was like a combination of colors to her

"how could she be in danger in such a paradise?" she thought

She watched her path in awe as she got closer to a beautiful palace, she saw an open window of a balcony and directed the wind to take her there

She smiled and thank the wind as she landed in a strange room painted all over by pink

"Who are you??" she was disturbed by a girl's voice, she quickly vanished her wings and turned to look for the voice's owner

but to her surprise she found a girl as grown up as her, with chocolate smeared on her face and ball dress , she was looking at her angrily which gave her quite a comical look

"Who are you???" Swara questioned back looking at her

"Haw! what do you mean by who am i???, you come in my room and question me about my identity?? omg you might be an intruder, what are you here for????" she quickly dropped her chocolate bowl on her bed and grabbed a pillow

Swara was more amused by her antics than scare ,"i am sorry for invading your privacy but i am not an intruder if you tell me your identity it will be easier for me to tell you who i am and what i am here for" She tried to explain

"uhmm" she tapped her fingers on her chin and said, "okay, fair deal, i am Princess Ragini!" she exclaimed proudly surprising Swara

"You are Princess Ragini???" She asked to confirm what she said

"what do you mean by that??? Can't you see my tiara" she placed her hands on her head and found her tiara was all toppled on her head

Swara laughed at how she panicked to straighten her tiara on her head,"it happens you know" she was truly her sister as she noticed her pout

"i am your sister" she told her as she widdened her eyes

"Impossible!!" how can she believe a stranger jumping in her room out of nowhere and claiming to be her sister, she might be silly but there's no way shes buying that

"it's no myth Ragini, i know its hard for you to believe but this is the truth i am your sister!" her eyes reflected truth and honesty but still

"No!!! baba would have told me if i had another sister"she refused to believe

"i doubt that, since i just came to know about it too, if you dont believe me lets go to baba he will tell us the truth"

"i can't do that!" she looked preoccupied

"But why????"

"Because it's 25 december today, and baba doesn't meet anyone on 24 and 25 december not even me, he close himself in his room" Swara could almost feel his father's pain and she knew the reason

"i know why, just take me to him, he will not stay alone today Ragini!"

She was sure there was some very big reason behind her father closing himself for the two days , everytime she will ask him why, he managed to shut her away , she reluctantly took swara to her father's room and knocked

"i am sure i was clear when i said i want to stay alone" they heard a manly voice from inside

"baba it's me Ragini" she was slow and polite

"not today ragini please" he replied

"yes baba, but there's a girl here who claims to be my sister and wants to meet you" enough said, she saw the door opening and swara peeking from her back looking at her father

Her tears flew out of her eyes and rolled down as white pearls , he cried as he saw that pushing his hands forward and holding those pearls before they would touch the ground

"Just like your mother" he mummured before she ran in his arms whispering "baba"

"My little swara, my eyes yearned to see you"he hugged her back and cried harder but pulled back as he realized what might be the consequences

"Did your mother come along with you????" he questioned sternly and watched her shaking her head in a no

"You came here all alone knowing you might be in grave danger????? How could your mother let you come alone?? you need to leave right now!" he dint know if he should be happy for seeing his daughter after soo long or angry she took such a big risk

"Maa doesn't know anything baba, it's just me, i dont want to stay away from my father , my sister" she said

"talking about sister, i think i deserve some explanation" she placed her hands on her hips and looked her father and newly found sister

"Swara will tell you all, for now i need to tighten the security of the palace and you need to return soon to your mother" He said strictly

"but baba"

"No swara this is not your father's order but the King's order and it must be abided by any means" saying so he left the premises

While Swara narrated all to Ragini

"So my mother is Alive" she whispered in tears...and swara felt more guilty for being the reason of Ragini being deprived by her mother's love

"i am sorry Ragini" she apologized

"No Swara, i understand it wasn't your fault, but i wanna meet maa, i wanna see her , baba always used to telme about fairies but never told me maa was one" she said innocently

"i need to leave and search for the meaning of the puzzle Ragini, before baba finds a way to send me back to fairyland, once am there am sure maa will never let me out, for our family, i will have to do it" she sounded desperate for her family's reunion

"i will help you, we will join our family like our name becomes one as Swaragini" she felt her strength growing as her sister got on her side

"but we have to be quick before baba returns"

"Sanskaar"Ragini screamed

"sanskaar????" she asked

"yes , he can help us and he is trustworthy but how will we reach him soo quickly and without getting noticed by baba" she worriedly looked at swara smiling

"By flying" she smirked mischievously as she opened the window with a click of her fingers

"Omg this is soo much fun Swara"

Both sisters swang happily in the sky, "there the topmost balcony you see in that palace , is sankaar's room" she directed swara

She carefully allowed Ragini to get on her feet before landing down

"are you okay Ragini???" she asked

"are you kidding me, i am feeling out of this world, this was sooo awesome!" she squealed happily

"what on earth are you doing here????" he was reading a book when he got distracted by a voice on his balcony

"Sanskaar"she screamed excitedly hugging him

"Ragini???? are you mad, how did you land here in my balcony?? nd at this time? more than her the person behind her interested him, she had something very different about her he observed

"by flying" she caught his attention , "oh sorry where are my manners i forgot to introduce...Swara Meet Prince Sanskaar my fiance and sanskaar meet swara my newly found sister" she said gleefully while both stood confuse

"Your sister????!" ,"Your fiance???!" both asked together

"oh well thats a long story,but all that interest me is if you want to help us!" she asked hoping he will not refuse

"Well if its beyond my reach , i will surely help" he said not knowing what to add more

She sat telling all to Sanskar while Swara thought how could he help her, he looked very normal but handsome, she slapped herself mentally as Ragini's words rushed back to her mind, he was her fiance

"the one who united day and night shall be freed by the half of her heart under the magical tree" he repeated the words to himself thinking hard what could it mean

"Ma told me i was born on 24 december, at 00:00" Swara said unconsciously as Sanskaar repeated the puzzle

"Thats it" they heard him say "The one who united day and night...means you!" he said to Swara, "You were born at 00:00 the time when its day and night becomes one" he enlightened the two sisters

" omg this fits so right, but this means half of my heart??? whats half of my heart? and magical tree its still so absurd" She sigh

"Listen, there's a very omnicient Sage who lives not so far in the jungle here, if you want we can go and consult him" why was he so desperate to help her .

"I am ready to go, lets go ragini" she said

"i cant, i have to go back to the palace, baba will be tense you two plan the journey without me" she hugged her sister, "please come back soon"

After a moment

"We can fly!!" She said irritatedly

"Why to fly when we can horse ride??" he argued refusing to trust any of her flying abilities, he was a prince, and he still din't know about these fairy stuff, yes she was soo damn gorgeous but that doesnt give her bonus points to win his trust

She refused to horseride and walked

"you are soo stubborn!" he continued arguing

"less than you!" she chuckled as he faked an anger on his face

"and they say fairies are innocent and sweet, those people should meet you!"

"haw! i am innocent and sweet" she defended herself

"had you been, you did listen to me...we'll reach to the sage quicker!" she realized he had a point and decide to give in

he climbed down, picked her up ,made her sat on the horse and climbed behind her

Her fragnance was truly magical he thought as he felt her against him soon after she felt asleep pushing her head against his chest, "fairies do feel tired"he thought completely mesmerized by her beauty

Precap:- "Prince Sanskaar really???? You lost us???" ..."not my fault you were asleep!!!"..."So what??? you were awake!"

it's awesome...m not a big fan of fantasy land...but u have written it beautifully..i think "half of her heart.." related to sanskar only...interesting..continue soon n pm me if possible
