Lovely coupe of chapters again--43 & 44. With such a contrast in moods, in style, in portrayals.

Chap 43 was all about realizations, awareness for both Ragini and Lakshya. Ragini taking sincere care of Shomi, understanding her step mother's wariness and reluctance to fully trust her. I loved the way Ragini so maturely spoke to her, acknowledging her sins, and expressing sincere remorse for everything---most of all, for trying to get Swara mercilessly out of her way, even if that meant killing her. Something that no mother can easily forgive! That was a poignant moment---Ragini trying to get an understanding from Shomi, and then Shekar, about how the influences on Ragini's growing years, had so warped her thought processes, attitudes, and innate, hard wired responses. Her resolve, that liberating feeling that she need not remain forever a prisoner to these past faulty prisms, was a very lovely epiphany.

And Lakshya has certainly started realizing Ragini is now a part of his life, a perhaps indispensable part whom he misses when she's not around, huh? 😛 Typical husband behavior---first few days apart from the wife is celebrated as a return to a carefree bachelor existence, a burst of freedom! But then, from the after a very few days, the hollow feeling of missing something vital starts. 😉

If Chap 43 was all about a gradual, mature understanding; Chap 44 was also about understanding---but of a very different---and dare I say, far more tantalizing, earthy and sensual kind. 😆 😛 😳

I loved this portrayal, Bubble. How Sanskaar and Swara are moving steadily into greater physical intimacy, how they are growing ever more confortable with each other. Swara is of course a little decorously embarrassed, certainly eager though. 😉 And Sanskaar has been waiting for so long to have Swara reciprocate his feelings, the utter and complete joy of having her want to be his wife; has made him turn into this hyper romantic and touchy--feely loverboy. ☺️ Swara certainly is melting fast!! That part of her realizing in her half asleep, subconscious mind that she'd inadvertently left her bra downstairs, during their very charming 😳 making out session--was HILARIOUS! 😆 😆

Can't wait for the next chap, Bubble! Want to know precisely---ahem ahem---well, maybe not precisely, but you get what I mean---how Sanskaar "punishes" Swara for throwing that pillow at him. 😉
