PART-2

Sanskar & Swara are just back from Ghats. They attended the Ganga Arati. After the ritual, they felt like they are breathing a fresh air, full of positivity. All the tensions got vanished from their brains. Swara noticed Sanskar was fully lost in prayers. While coming back from Ghats, swara asked him

"waise Sanskar, aaj tum ganga maa se kya pray kiya? I saw you totally lost in prayers."

Sanskar just smiled.

Swara:"Tell me Sanskar, tum mujhse nahi kahoge?"

Sanskar : "it is a secret. I cant tell you".

She again insisted, :"Sanskar, tum mujhse chupaonge?"

he stopped before her .

Sanskar-"tum kehte hein na,ki tum mere aanken pad sakte hein. Yeh bhi aise hi pad lo".

Swara silently looked at him, then continued to walk.

Actually only Swara was in his prayers. He prayed Ganga maa to keep Swara always with him, till his last breath, because he can't live without her.

They had their dinner from outside. It was a dream comes true for Sanskar. He enjoyed the evening to the fullest with his lady love. Every passing moment was so precious to him. While walking, he held her hands in his. He felt Swara is also enjoying every moment. He decided to make every moment memorable.

As they were walking towards their rooms, swara- the chatter box was in nonstop talking. Sanskar silently watched her with a smile. He found that the cutest cration of the world is with him.They stopped before her room.

Sanskar:" Swara, kal subah tum tayyar hoke rehna, hum Allahabad jaayenge, waham Triveni Sangam dekhkenge."

Swara was also happy with his plan.

Swara:" teek hein Sanskar, waise..., aaj tum mere liye apna sabhi kaam chodkar yahaan aagaya, par mein tumse thank you nahi kahoongi, kissy ne mujhse kaha tha ki, dosthy mein no sorry/no thank you."

Sanskar (with a smile): "Haan, lekin yeh sab ka keemath tumhe baad mein chukkana padega..."

Both smiled and wished goodnight, and went to their respective rooms. Swara was too tired so she went to bed early...

Sanskar in his room deep in his thoughts... he hide it from Swara that he came here without informing his family. If he reveals that, she will soon pack the belongings and will head back to kolkata. Swara's memories lead him to the evening Arati. He recalled every moment with her. A smile appeared in his face. You don't know swara, how precious these moments are for me.

Next morning, he woke up hearing continuous knock on his door. He opened the door; it was swara standing there at the door, getting ready for an outing. He was not out fully of his sleepy mood, seeing swara at the door so early, he asked "tum kahim jaa rahe ho?"

Swara: "toh tum abhi tak so rahe the? Tumhe pata hein, kitni der se mein yahan tumhare door pe knock kar rahi thi. Mujhe laga tum bathroom mein hoga"

Sanskar : "pehle tum yeh batao, itni subah subah ready hokar kahan jaa rahe ho?

Swara :"Patidev, Tumhe yaad bhi nahi hein tum kal raat kya kaha tha?"

Sanskar :"kya kaha tha?" he asked innocently

Swara :"Mr Sanskar Maheshwari, tumne mujhe kaha tha, ki subah ready hoke rahana, hum triveni sangam dekhne jayenge.."

Then only Sanskar came out of his sleepy mood"

Sanskar : "Ohh.. God...sorry swara. Mein toh phool gaya. You please wait here for 5 minutes... I will come fast"

Swara : "koi baat nahi. Yeh to sabhi pati logon ka aadat hein, aise cheezem phool jana.."

Sanskar : "toh kya, tum hein na, mujhe alert karne ke liye"

Sanskar looked at her, she is silently standing there, her smile is slowly changing into awkwardness.

Swara :" tum bhi na, Sanskar, jaa.. jaldi tayyar ho ja"

He thought why she is not annoyed with his dialogues. Shadi ke pehle, woh kitna irritated hota tha aise baton pe. But now, she is not even reminding him of divorce thing. He even doubted, is she ready to take our life forward? Kya, Ganga mayya ne meri prayer sun li??

Soon he got ready & they vacated the room and went to nearby railway station. Sanskar was unfamiliar with such ordinary life, and auto/train journeys. Even if he was away from home for years, he had enough money in his account, so continued his royal life even after that. They went by train. It was a four hour journey, as soon as they reached Allahabad; they started their search for their accommodation. But it very difficult to get one, as this trip was not preplanned. At last somehow they got a room in a hotel.

He found Swara was comfortable in room sharing idea, as is not a new thing for her. As soon as they reached their room, they suddenly made arrangements for their outing. They had their breakfast, and went for site seeing. It was a serene place, blessed with the nature's beauty. The place was very silent, only sound of flowing water is echoed in there. It is a "confluence" of three rivers-Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswathy. Swara noticed a beautiful temple on its bank. She wished to go there. There was not much crowd; when they handed over the pooja thali to Panditji, She asked him about the special offerings there.

Panditji asked them: "Aap log yahan pehli baar aa rahe ho?" they smiled & nodded.

"Aap logon ko dekhkar lagta hein, naye naye Shadi huyi hein"

Swara replied: "Haan Panditji. Peechle mahine huyi thi hamari shadi".

Panditji smiled &replied: "toh yahan ek vishwas hein, yahan naye jodiyon aakar apne lambi shadi shuda zindagi ke liye pooja karte hein. Aur yahan ki sindoor se apne maang pharne se, yeh manna jata hein ki, agale saat janam tak, koi bhi un jodiyon ko alag nahi kar sakta. Devimaa ke blessings sadaa unke saat hogi."

Sanskar looked at Swara; her shining eyes were already in his face her. He smiled and booked for pooja in their names. Swara looked at him in disbelief. When Panditji went inside the temple, she asked him, "tum yeh sab pe vishwas karte ho, Sanskar?"

Sanskar :"Jo vishwas hamare dil ko kushi deta hein, mein usmein vishwas karta hoon.."

He closed his eyes and prayed. But Swara was staring at him in admiration. She thought, if he has such a deep faith in their relation, she too likes to keep faith in him. She remembered her promise, she gave him on KC day that so long as she is in this relation, she will respect it. She slowly closed her eyes and prayed. This time nothing other than Sanskar came into her mind. She was still confused, how she started to fall in his magic.

Panditji came back after the pooja, and handed over the thali with Prasad to Swara. She saw the sindoor in the corner of the thali and a slight smile appeared in her face. She looked at Sanskar. Panditji asked him to fill her maang with it. He looked at swara for permission, he saw Swara already there with closed eyes, as if she is ready to accept the sindoor in her maang. He was surprised by her response and happily filled her maang. He remembered that it is the third time he is doing it. They thanked Panditji and slowly descended the steps of the mandir. Both were silent, he was actually surprised by her response. He couldn't believe the thing that she is still having a pleasant smile on her face; though she is not looking at him, he could read it. He felt that like him, at that moment she is also only thinking about them. The girl, who has the habit of nonstop talking, is all silent now, lost in thought. But actually, swara herself couldn't believe how she bowed before Sanskar, to allow him to put that sacred sindoor on her forehead. She asked herself, why I can't follow my brain when he is around me? She felt, she was not acting normally; she was not able to define what is happening to her. She looked at him. She saw his eyes are following her only. He asked what happened swara? Tum teek ho?" she just gave smile. They walked towards the Sangam.

Both Swara and Sanskar were in another world, enjoying each other's company. No one else came even in their thoughts. In those hours only Sanskar was in her life and Swara was his world. Only happiness remained in their world. Both wished the day should not end.

They went for boating. Swara was too scared in the boat, she sat very close to him, holding his hands. They could even feel each other's breath. They shared romantic glances, about which, they themselves were unaware. She realised a feeling of security while sitting with him holding his hands. Suddenly the -boat tilted a little, she got afraid that she is about to fall, suddenly got hold on his coat, and kept her head on his chest for comfort. He held his arms around her; they looked at each other, lost in each other's eyes.

After boating, they found a comfortable place on its bank. They splashed water on each other, talked a lot of things, shared their childhood funny incidents, in between shared many eye locks. They sat in the nature's lap, pampered by the cool breeze. She noticed a pinch of sindoor in his grey coat. She remembered their moment in the boat, so it was left there from her forehead. He too noticed it &took his hanky with a smile and removed it from the coat. Still a patch of it remained in the coat, as a sign of god's blessings. He kept back his white hanky in his pockets with the remains of her sindoor.

They sat under a tree, again started their masti. They didn't even bother about how many hours passed. They didn't even felt hunger, even though it was half past 3. Then,they decided to have something, and walked through the streets holding their hands, talking & laughing. Suddenly she slipped from her heels, but Sanskar saved her from a fall. He got hold of her waist. But this time he didn't found even a slight embarrassment in her eyes. They continued their walk. At last found a hotel and were lucky enough that they got lunch even at that time.

After having lunch, she herself suggested to go back to the riverside, they loved that place. They spend there till sunset. They saw evening sun kissing the Triveni with its golden rays.

When Sun disappeared from their sights, she reminded him to go back to the room.

But she loved the place and the moments they spend there. So she suggested him: "Sanskar, We can come back here tomorrow. I love this place; we can spend the next two days here"

Sanskar got amazed hearing such words from her. She is not in a hurry to go back to her parents, and he remembered both of them not even talked with their parents in the last two days. Both were so lost in each other's company, that other things appeared as least important to them.

They walked back to the hotel, listening to the songs of river around them.
