PART 6

They watched Lakshya, have the drink fully. For a moment, he beamed at them. Very slowly, his grin vanished, and was replaced by an expression of utmost horror. Then he collapsed into the chair, looking devastated.
De: (whispers) Cathy, it's the effect of the antidote; he is now suffering from the pangs of disappointed love. Go and offer him some solace..
Deborah got up and walked away, winking pointedly at her. Catherine smiled at Deborah and nodded. Then she moved towards Lakshya, and kissed him on his cheek. Lakshya looked at her vulnerably.
Ca: Lucky, my sweetheart..!
La: Cathy..(relieved look)
"Back to Cathy, now", thought Catherine excitedly.
Ca: Lucky, let's go to the Great Hall for dinner..
Lakshya raised his eyebrows and flashed his ever charming grin at her.
La: (winks) Ok..As you wish, sweetheart..
She was sure that he was her old Lakshya, who was completely free from the effects of love potion.
When they arrived at the Great Hall, arm in arm, her eyes scanned the Ravenclaw table for Ragini Gadodia. Catherine's eyes spotted her sitting along with her best friend, Susan Brooks and she smirked.
Just then Ragini chose to look up and her gaze fell upon Lakshya, but to her utter shock, he was standing really close to Catherine.
Ra: (whispers to herself) What am I seeing..?! Oh God..!! Lakshya with 'her'..!!!!
Su: (turns to her) What are you muttering Ragini..?
Ra: Look..!
Susan too saw them, and she couldn't believe her eyes. They were now sitting down at the Slytherin House table.
Su: But how, Ragini..!!(whispers) You didn't forget to feed him the potion in the morning, right..!
Ra: (whispers) Of course yes, Susan..And its effect should have remained till tomorrow morning..But, how did he start dating her again..?
Su: I guess, there is only one answer to this question..!
Ra: What..?! Oh no, you are not thinking what I am thinking right now..?!
Su: What..?
Ra: That may be Catherine somehow found out that I have been feeding him a love potion, and now she has given him the antidote..!!
Su: Exactly, Ragini..! I was thinking the same thing..!
Ragini looked toward Lakshya and Catherine. Just then Catherine glanced at her and Ragini's breath tightened in her throat. They stared at each other for quite some time, and Ragini looked away, feeling sad.
Just then Lakshya noticed that Catherine was looking at someone over the Ravenclaw table. He followed her line of gaze and spotted Ragini. He thought, "Hey, this is the same Indian girl who had offered me some gulab jamun, before I went to play the Quidditch match against Gryffindor..I am seeing her only now after that incident. And she is very much attractive also..How come I never noticed her before..!! ...But what about the match, I have no memory of playing the match..!!"
La: (turns to Catherine) Catherine..What happened to the Slytherin vs Gryffindor match..? Did it get cancelled..?!!
Catherine was surprised at his question, she never knew that Love potion could affect one's memory too.
Ca: Ohh..!! The match..! Well, it had happened of course, yesterday..!
La: Yesterday..!! But then, why can't I remember playing the match..?!
Catherine thought, that it was time for him to know the truth.
Ca: That was because you were under the effect of a love potion..
La: (shocked) What..?!!
Ca: Hmm..yes..And you know what, you were avoiding me till now, because of that..Do you know how hurt I was, Lucky..(with a sad face)
La: Really..?!! But who..? Who fed me the love potion..?!!
He thought he knew the answer..The incident was still fresh in his mind.

La: Wow my favourite..Gulab jamun..We won't get it here in Hogwarts, na..Thank you..
Ra: I wanted to wish you luck for the game, by feeding sweet..Err..Shall I feed you..?(smiles)
La: Ya..Sure..
She happily took a spoonful and fed him.
Ra: All the best for the game, Lakshya..You know I am supporting Slytherin House in this game..
La:(surprised) Is it..? But Ravenclaws usually never support Slytherin..(frowns) They always favour Gryffindor in a Slytherin-Gryffindor competition..
Ra: But since you are in the team this year, I am going to support your team..Ok you have this sweet fully..(then lowers her voice) No need to give this to anyone else..It's especially for you..
La: Ya..I understand..(winks at her) Thank you Ragini..
Ra: My pleasure Lakshya..
When she turned to go,
La: Hey Ragini..
Ra: (turns) Haan..
La:(winks naughtily) See you after the match..I want to meet you again..I have some plans for both of us..
Ra: (happily) Ya..sure..

Lakshya's eyes went towards the spot where Ragini was sitting. Just then she looked at him and their eyes met. He couldn't help noticing the pain in her eyes, seeing him together with Cathy.
Catherine noticed him staring at Ragini.
Ca: Do you remember her feeding something to you yesterday, Lucky..?
La: (turns to her) Yes a bowl full of Gulab jamun..!!
Ca: A bowl full of "what"..??
La: (shakes his head) It's an Indian Sweet..You wouldn't have heard about it..!
Ca: (rolls her eyes) Whatever..!!
His eyes sought Ragini yet again, but she had already left the table by that time.
La: Hey, but how did you find out that she had fed me love potion..?
Ca: (painful look) You both were together since yesterday..And you both even went together for the Hogsmeade trip..!!
La: What..?!! Oh my God..This many things happened and I haven't got a clue about it..(laughs slightly)
Ca:(frowns) Why are you laughing..?
La: (sniggers) Nothing..It was my first experience with a love potion..!

It was night time and Swara was sitting in the common room with her homework spread on the table. She was writing her Potions essay on a roll of parchment, dipping the end of her quill in the ink bottle which was placed on her right side on the table.
When Sanskaar came back after his Quidditch practice, with his Firebolt Supreme broomstick in his hand, he walked over towards Swara's table and sat down on a chair beside her.
Swara looked up and when she saw him, a shy smile appeared on her face, and Sanskaar didn't fail to notice it.
Sw: Sanskaar..how did your practice go..?!
Sa: It was ok..Next match will be against the Ravenclaw House..
Sw: But the match will happen only in the start of next term..Why are you practicing now itself..
Sa: Derek feels that we must..
Derek was Gryffindor team captain, and he wanted to make sure that Gryffindor won the Quidditch Cup in the Inter House Championship.
Sw: Oh..! (smiles)
Sanskaar's eyes scanned the table, which was filled with parchments and Library books.
Sa: (raising his eyebrows) So, finished your home work, Miss. Topper of the Year..!
Sw: (smiles wide) You hate me, don't you..?!!
Sa: (smiles) Na..I love you..! (looks into her eyes, romantically)
Swara's cheeks flushed red under his gaze and her eyes locked with his. They sat like that for some time and suddenly Sanskaar decided to seize his chance.
Sa: Swara..Would you like to go for a walk with me on the grounds..
Sw: Ok..(smiles)
Sa: (excitedly takes her hand) Come, let's go..!
He pulled her along and walked out of the portrait hole.
Later they went out of the huge oak front doors, out into the lawns. Sanskaar's broom stick was still with him and Swara noticed it.
Sw: Hey Sanskaar..Let's go to the Quidditch pitch..!
Sa: Ok..As you wish..!
He pulled her hand and broke into a run..Pleasantly surprised by this, Swara ran along with him, giggling merrily. Sanskaar smiled wide, hearing her.
As they reached the Quidditch Stadium, he came to an abrupt halt and both of them bent and clutched their knees, panting heavily. They turned their heads towards each other and laughed happily.
Sa: (panting) That was..fun..Isn't it..?
Sw: (panting) Yaa...(giggles)
Then both of them straightened themselves and looked around. The Stadium looked shadowy in the dark night, and the sky was strewn with numerous stars.
Sa: Swara, why did you insist to come here..?
Sw: I wanted to ride your broom..
Sa: (surprised laugh) What..?!!
Sw: (giggles) Hmm..(nods her head cutely with a smile) Yours is the best racing broom..
Sa: Ok..here, take it..(hands her his broom)
But Swara shook her head. Sanskaar was confused.
Sa:(frowns) You said that you wanted to ride this..!
Sw: (shyly and slowly) I want to sit behind you, while you ride it..(looks at him expectantly)
Sanskaar hadn't expected such an answer. He had never heard about two persons mounting the same broom, like a bike.
Sa: (unbelievably) Are you serious..!!
Sw:(nods) Yes, Sanskaar..
Sa: Ok then..Let's try this..(laughs)
Sanskaar mounted his broom and Swara mounted behind him, her legs on either side.
Sa: Hold tight now, Swara..
She placed her hands on each side of his waist.
Sa: I meant, tight..! Or do you want to fall off from the broom..(chuckles)
Sw: (giggles) N-Noo..
Swara tightened her hold. Smiling wide, Sanskaar kicked off into the air and the Firebolt Supreme broom zoomed high and fast through the air, and their hairs whipped back off their faces.
Sw: (excitedly) Ooohhh..!! This is amazing..Your broom is awesome..!!
They soared around the stadium, and Swara gripped him tighter, if that was even possible.
Sanskaar turned his broom so sharply that Swara screamed, then he went into a perfectly controlled dive, brushing the grassy field with his toes before rising fifty feet into the air again.
He knew he was showing off his flying skills to her, but he was excited at the fact that Swara was enjoying immensely, still he wanted to make sure.
Sa: (shouts so as to hear in the rushing air) Swaraaa..
Sw: (shouts back) Yaaa..
Sa: (shouts again) Are you enjoying..??
Swara just hugged him tightly and pressed her chin onto his shoulder.
Sw: Of course, Yes, Sanskaar..I am enjoying every moment of it..!!
Sanskaar felt happier than ever. He flew around for some more minutes and then decided that it was time to go back to the castle.
He dived and landed smoothly to the ground. Swara reluctantly took off his arm from around his waist and both of them got off from the broom.
Swara felt awkward, once they were back on the ground. Holding him closer, was much easier when they were flying, but now she felt shy, even to look at him. Sanskaar understood her state, since he too was feeling almost the same way.
Sa: Err..Let's go back now..
Sw: Ok..( looking away)
Together they walked back into the castle, but at a considerable distance from each other. They didn't talk as they walked inside through the huge oak front doors, climbed the marble staircase in the Entrance Hall, and walked along the corridors.
By the time they reached the second floor, they could feel the strain of growing attraction in the air between them. When they reached one of the doorways hidden behind a hanging tapestry, Sanskaar pushed open the tapestry to take their usual shortcut up to Gryffindor Tower.
He turned towards her with hope shining in his eyes.
Sa: Swara..
Swara faced him with an expectant face, and Sanskaar knew that she wanted the same thing.
Without hesitating, he locked her in a close embrace, and she hugged him tightly as if her life depended on it.
Sw: I love you, Sanskaar..
Sanskaar's joy knew no bounds when he heard her confession and clutched her to his heart even more tightly. His one hand caressed her hair and gently patted along, feeling its smooth silky feel inside his palm.
Swara raised her face towards him and regarded him with love filled eyes. Sanskaar's passionate gaze travelled from her eyes to her lips. Instinctively, she gasped and raised her parted lips to him and Sanskaar didn't wait anymore. The kiss was soft and soothing, and Swara basked in its warmth. She raised her hands towards his back head and her fingers clutched his hair. This made, Sanskaar deepen his kiss and Swara responded with much need. Sanskaar sucked in her upper lip and Swara his lower lip. Both their bodies were charged with immense desire for each other. Their tongues were entwined and kissed each other fiercely.
Even though he didn't want to stop ,Sanskaar realized that she was in a vulnerable condition and he didn't want her to regret all this later. So he hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead.

Really wonderful update dear.I always loved ur writing.
Sanskar is gem.man the way he confessed everything to Swara and her reactions are too his.
I love ur romantic sequence.
No word about others .I always have habit tat is except swasan everyone will b seen in blur vision for me.sorry yaa.
Update6 :I think Laksh liking ragini.
Beautifully penned yaar.
Love the SAWSAN movements. It's not happening in the serial.but ur giving us.thanks to u dear.I watched HP. But not fan.I'm a fan to ur LP.
