PART 12
Lakshya was sitting alone in his hostel room. He was feeling so much pain, thinking about the way his friends chose to believe that he was trying to do something wrong with Swara. He shut his eyes tightly at this thought, hell, he couldn't even think about such a thing. And Ragini, he was shocked by her reaction, how could she mistrust him so easily. His blood boiled at the thought of Samar Modi, who would be happily celebrating his timely escape from this mess, at his luxurious home. But Lakshya vowed to himself that he would make him pay for messing with Lakshya Ganguly.Just then, the door to their room opened and Sanskaar walked inside. Even though Lakshya was expecting his arrival, he was not prepared for the seething look thrown by his best friend.
Lakshya wanted to yell at Sanskaar for his stupidity, but he chose to remain silent, since he believed that trust was important in any relationship. And if Sanskaar couldn't believe what Lakshya was trying to tell him at Sonia's house, then why waste him time and energy upon trying to convince him now.
Lakshya returned a painfully determined look towards Sanskaar's eyes with equal strength.
Sanskaar looked away with contempt and lay down on his bed with his back turned towards Lakshya's bed.

Next day was Sunday. Ragini and Swara were surprised to see Sonia Modi who had come to visit them at the College Girls hostel.
Sw: Hi Sonia..Tum yahan..?
Sonia hugged Swara with a concerned face.
So: Tum teekh toh ho na..? Kal raat ke incident ke baad, I am sorry about all that..
When Swara didn't reply, Ragini answered for her.
Ra: Sonia..Why are you saying sorry..Tumhari kya galti thi..? Acha hi hua..We could realize, how bad Lakshya actually is..!
But Ragini was feeling really bad inside, it pained her whenever she thought about Lakshya's betrayal.
Sw: (painfully) Ab bas..Please hum log koi aur baat karte hain na..! (eyes tearful)
Sonia thought about her elder brother Samar's plan.
So: (smiles) Ok Swara..I came here to invite you both for a short trip to Mumbai..
Sw: Mumbai..? Woh kyun..?
So: Mere bhaiyya hain na Samar..Yeh unka idea hain..Its a way of telling "Sorry" by both of us..Kal raat mere birthday party mein jo bhi kuch hua, uske liye, we both are really sorry..
Ra: Err..Samar also knows about the incident..!
So: Ya..I told him about it..After all, Lakshya was trying to put all blame upon my brother..So I wanted him to know all about it..And he would never tell anyone..After all, its a matter of Swara's reputation..
Swara looked away painfully.
So: So..what I am trying to say is that, you all must come with us to our Private beach house in Mumbai. It will be fun..Just a one day trip..
Sw: Arre..Nahin nahin Sonia..
But Ragini knew better. She just wanted a break and she was sure that Swara needed it too.
Ra: Hum aayenge, Sonia..When do we start..?!
So: Abhi, ek ghante mein..I will also invite Sanskaar, Adarsh and Parineeta too..(smiles) Mere bhaiyya ke gaadi mein jaayenge hum log.
Ra: Ok..(smiles)

Sanskaar woke up, when he heard his phone ring. He was surprised to find that it was a call from Sonia.
Sa: Hello Sonia..
So: Hi Sanskaar..I just called to inform you that I am taking Swara, Parineeta and Ragini for a trip to Mumbai..Would you also like to come with us..If yes, then I will invite Adarsh and Samar bhaiyya too..
Sa: Acha..? Mumbai trip..?
Sanskaar thought, "I think its a great idea..I want to make sure Swara is happy..! I will go along.."
Sa: Acha teekh hain..Main bhi aaoonga..Tum Adarsh aur Samar ko bhi bulaalo..
Lakshya was now listening to conversation with caution after hearing Samar's name. He knew that this was definitly not a good plan, since it involved Samar.
Sa:..Acha..ek ghante mein..Teekh hain..Main ready hoke neeche aa jaoonga..

After one hour, all of them were sitting inside Samar's Innova car and he was driving. Sonia and Samar were sitting in the front seats, where as Ragini, Sanskaar and Swara were sitting in the middle seat, and Parineeta and Adarsh in the back seats.
It was a beautiful morning and Swara felt relieved that Sanskaar was with her. She wound her arm around his arm and rested her head on his shoulder.
Samar watched this through the rear view mirror an his jaw tightened with fresh fury. But he tried to compose himself, thinking , " Its ok Samar..Ab kuch din aur..I promise you Swara, that you will be mine forever.." He smirked when he thought about his plan and he looked towards his sister Sonia. She was looking out of the car window and he thought, " Your obsession for Sanskaar is going to help me in this, Sonia.."

Around mid-day, the car pulled up in front of an exquisite building. Samar Modi turned towards them all.
Sm: Friends..This is Dad's beach house.
So: Haan.. And we have a private beach at the back side.
The five of them followed Samar and Sonia into the house. The interior was as exquisite as it looked from outside. The decor was tastefully done and it had a thrilling holiday like feel to it.
They all settled down in the living room and one of the servants in the home brought some cold drinks and refreshments for them to have.
Suddenly Sonia stood up and went to Sanskaar. Swara watched as she bent down and whispered something in his ears. To her astonishment, Sanskaar got up from his seat.
Sa: (smiles) Excuse me, guys..Main aur Sonia abhi aaye..!
Sonia and Sanskaar walked out of the main door and went out. Samar was watching Swara intently and he was happy to see Swara's confused expression.
Sanskaar and Sonia walked out into the front lawns.
Sa: Sonia, what kind of surprise you are planning for Swara..
So: I will tell you Sanskaar..But you have to make sure that Swara doesn't get a clue about this surprise which we are planning for her..Ok..
Sa: Ok..
So: I will explain to you what we have to do..
Meanwhile, inside the house, Samar was watching Swara intently and he was happy to see Swara's confused expression.
Sm: So, friends.. We have all the time till evening. And then we can return to Pune. If you want to freshen up yourselves, the wash rooms are in the bed rooms upstairs.
Swara, Ragini and Parineeta went upstairs while Adarsh and Samar chose to remain there itself and chatted with each other.
The girls entered one of the bedrooms. Parineeta went towards the door to the wash room.
Pa: I will go in first..
Ra: Sure..
Swara and Ragini sat down on the bed and Ragini took a magazine from the bed side table and leafed throught its pages. But Swara was thinking about Sanskaar and Sonia..She thought, "Why did he go outside with Sonia..What did she whisper in his ear..?" Ragini noticed Swara.
Ra: Kya baat hain Swara..Tum teekh toh hona..?! Are you still upset with me, because I told "Yes" for this trip..Oh come on Swara..I told you na..I just want you to be happy..You needed a change and I needed it too..(looks away sadly)
Sw: (shakes her head) Arre nahin, Ragini..Main Sanskaar aur Sonia ke baare mein soch rahi thi..!
Ragini understood Swara's concerns and she put his arm around Swara's shoulder.
Ra: (softly) Swaraa..Sonia ab badal chuki hain..Aur tumhe Sanskaar pe bharosa hain na..!
Sw: (looks away) Bharosa toh tumne Lakshya pe bhi ki thi...
Ragini was thinking along Swara's words and at that time, Parineeta came out of the wash room.

Later when Ragini, Swara and Parineeta came out of their bedroom, they saw Sanskaar and Sonia coming up the stairs. Sonia was giggling and Sanskaar was laughing after talking about something. Swara felt uneasy and she looked at Ragini, their eyes conveying an unsaid message with each other.
Sonia and Sanskaar didn't notice them and she took him to a door near the staircase.
So: You can use the rest room inside, Sanskaar..
Sa: Thanks Sonia..
And he walked inside the room. Sonia turned away from the door walked towards the corridor where the three girls were walking along. She saw them and walked towards them with a wide smile. But only Parineeta smiled at her, Swara and Ragini were watching her with apprehension clearly etched on their faces.

Later all of them walked down towards the beach. Sanskaar was wearing a Denim bermuda shorts and a black t-shirt. Samar was wearing a red colour t-shirt and jeans. Adarsh was wearing a striped black and grey t-shirt and jeans. Ragini was wearing a green kurta and jeans where as Swara was wearing a black jeans and navy blue shirt. Parineeta was wearing a white summer frock. Every one of them had their goggles on since they had to go down on to the beach. Swara approached Sanskaar and pulled him away from the others.
Sw: Sanskaar..Main kuch poonchloon tumse..?
Sa: (smiles) Arre Swara..Tum kabse permission maangne lagi mujhse..Poonchlo..
Sw: Waise tum aur Sonia baahar kahan chale gaye the..?
Sa: Err..Woh..Hum bas..
Swara didn't let him complete his words, and she posed the next question which was troubling her.
Sw: Aur haan...Why was she whispering into your ear..? I mean..What did she tell you..?
Sa: (tries to laugh) Swaraa..Kahin tumhein jalan toh nahin ho rahi..? (winks)
Sw: (angrily) Baat ko ghumaao mat Sanskaar..Sach sach batao..
Sa: Ok baaba bataata hoon.. She just wanted my help with something..!
Sw: What kind of help..?! (doubtful look)
Sa: (irritatedly) Offo.. Stop questioning me like this Swara..Don't you trust me..?!
Sw: Pata nahin Sanskaar..(looks away) Lekin Lakshya ke uss harkat ke baad, I am afraid to trust anyone..!
Sanskaar felt fury bubbling inside him, and he glared at Swara.
Sa: Tum mujhpe shaq kar rahi ho, Swara..?!!
Sw: (looks at him defiantly) Toh tum sach kyun nahin bata sakte..?
Sa: (sighs) You know what Swara..Tumhein jaise sochna hain, tum soch sakti ho..Main nahin bataaoonga..!
And he walked away, towards Adarsh and Samar without a backward glance.
