It was morning...The sun's rays were playing on Swara 's face...The time was 6 am...Swara got up, brushed and took her bath.Then she went to Ragini and Parineeta both of whom were still sleeping...She shook both of them and woke them up..They also brushed and took their bath...
Now the time was 7 am..It was the time for starting their works...All the students assembled in the hall downstairs...Kalpana M'am came to them...
Ka:Good morning students...Today we can clean the whole village...You would have noticed all the waste materials accumulated here and there...All the groups have been allotted different areas for cleaning..All you have to do is to clean the surroundings, collect all the waste materials and dispose them properly...I will give you the necessary instructions after I divide the works for each group...

They had started their work...Adarsh's group had got the cooking job for lunch that day...
Sanskaar's group had got the job to clean the pond which was polluted with waste plastic bags and weeds and moss..So Sanskaar,Swara, Sonia and the other group members were standing on the steps to the pond...Sanskaar and Swara didn't pay attention to Sonia at all..But they had to work together, since she was in the group.
Sa:Who all know swimming..?
All the boys and one girl (Jyothi) raised their hands..
Sa:Jyothi,there is no need for you to enter into the pond...We boys will collect the wastes from the pond and give it to you girls..You can go and dispose them properly...
Then Sanskaar and the other 3 boys removed their shirts and watches and kept them on the steps with their mobiles..They jumped into the water...

After some time Swara was walking to the pond after disposing the wastes...When she reached there, she saw only Sanskaar swimming in the pond..The pond was mostly cleaned by now..Sanskaar was collecting the final round of wastes..
Sw:Where are the others, Sanskaar..?
Sa:They will come now..They have gone to wash themselves in the river...
Sw:If you have finished, then you also come out, Sanskaar..
Sa:Yeah..I am coming...
Sanskaar swam back to the steps with the remaining wastes..His body was all wet and covered in moss. Now the pond was really clean...
Sa:Swara ,you look after our mobiles,watches and all..I will dispose these wastes and come..
Sanskaar left from the pond and Swara was sitting alone in the pond's edge with her feet in the water..She was looking in the water which was rippling around her feet..It was really cold..
When Sonia returned to the pond and she saw that Swara was alone..She came to her..
So: Swara ...(with a rude look)
Sw:(equally rudely) Kya baat hain, Sonia..?
So:(sits near her)Waise tumhe badi khushi ho rahi hogi na..?
Sw:(frowns)Woh kyun?
So:(looks to the water)Kyunki Sanskaar tumhe pasand karta hai aur..
Sw: (irritatedly)Dekho Sonia..Tumhe kya chahiye..?Tumhe koyi kaam nahin hai kya?
So: (madly) Mujhe kya chahiye?? Mujhe Sanskaar chahiye..!! Kya tum de sakti ho??? Tum ne usse apni jaal mein phassaakar mujhse alag ki hain...
Sw:(angrily gets up)Sonia mind your words...!!
So:(gets up and faces Swara )Nahin toh...??Tum kya karlogi Swara ?(pushes Swara on her shoulders)Mujhe maarogi..?haan..?(again pushes on her her shoulders)
Sw:(moves backwards showing her index finger)Sonia...
But suddenly Swara's foot hit on a stone and when Sonia again pushed her, Swara slipped and fell right into the deep pond...Swara began to drown as she didn't know how to swim..She was struggling hard to remain on the surface of water...Water entered through her nose and mouth...She was struggling to breathe...
Sw: (tries to shout) Soniaa...Please mujhe bachaao...(struggles to breathe)...Bachaao..
So:(shocked)Oh my God..!!I don't know even to swim...I can't rescue her...If someone sees me here they will doubt me...Oh no!!I will have to go from here...(turns to leave)
But when Sonia turned to leave she saw Sanskaar, who had just returned to the pond. He noticed Swara drowning and crying for help.
Sa: Swara ...Oh no!!
Sw: Sansk...(goes down the water and again comes up)...skaaarr...(again her head goes down)
Sonia was rooted to spot and shocked beyond limits..Sanskaar looked at her with anger and contempt...Then without wasting time he jumped into the water..He caught Swara 's long hair pulled her up and swam back to the steps...Then he laid her on the step and pressed her stomach. Water came gurgling out of her mouth and nose...
Sa:Swara ...Swara ...(shakes her)
But Swara was still unconscious and cold... Sanskaar began to rub her feet and hands with his hands for heat...
Sonia felt really bad and she bent down and was about to touch Swara ..
Sa:Nooo...!! (stops Sonia, angrily)Tum Swara ko choona bhi mat Sonia..Why you didn't try to help her..?
So:(tears filling her eyes)I am sorry Sanskaar...But I don't know to swim...
Sa:But you could have called anyone for help ...Instead,you were going to leave!!...I heard you saying so...Tumhe apni friend kehte huye mujhe sharam aata hai...Agar Swara ko kuch ho gayi toh main tumhe kabhi maaf nahin karoonga...Waise tum yahan kar kya rahi thi..?(then doubtfully) Kahin tumne hi toh Swara ko...?
Suddenly Swara coughed and opened her eyes...
Sa:Swara ...
Sw:(coughs)Sanskaar...(and she sits up)
Sa:(hugging her tightly)Oh Swara ...Thank god!!Tum teek toh ho...Kaise ho gaya yeh sab..?Kya iss Sonia ne tumhe...?
Sw:(voice shivering)Woh... mere pair phisal gayi thi...bas..(and cries)
Sa:(pats on her back)Don't cry Swara ..Its alright..Now you are safe...Come on lets move to the house...
Sanskaar helped Swara to get up...But Swara couldn't move because her leg had sprained because of the slipping...Sanskaar scooped her up in his powerful arms and he walked in the direction of the house carrying her...Swara leaned her head on his chest and closed her eyes..Lakshya and the other boys who were coming back after washing themselves in the river came to them.
La: Sanskaar, kya hua Swara ko?Kya woh behosh hain?
Sa:Nahin..But she fell in the pond and I rescued her...Pata nahin kya hota agar main wahan par time par nahin pahunchtha toh..Oh my god !!Main soch bhi nahin sakta hoon..Agar Swara ko kuch...(shudders at the thought..)
La:(pats his shoulder)Thank god Swara teek toh hain...Tum Swara ko leke ghar chalo...I will go and inform Kalpana M'am..
Lakshya and the others went away...Sanskaar reached the main hall in the house and made Swara sit on the steps of the staircase..Swara was shivering badly because of falling in the cold water...Sanskaar went into his bedroom and took his blanket..He came to Swara and wrapped her with that blanket...Then he sat beside her..
Sa:Swara ,tumhe aur kuch chahiye kya..?
Sw:Tum bas mere paas baitho...
Sanskaar moved closer to her and she leaned on to his shoulders
Lakshya,Kalpana M'am,Ragini,Parineeta,Adarsh and some other students came to see Swara ..
Ka:Kya hua Sanskaar..?How did she fall in the pond..?Where were you all at that time..?
Sa:Woh M'am...I had went to dispose the wastes and I asked her to wait for me till I come..She slipped and fell into the water..
Ka:Swara ,How are you feeling now..?
Sw:(slowly)I am alright now M'am..
Ka:Ragini,Parineeta..Both of you help her to move to the bedroom upstairs..
Sa:Her leg is sprained M'am..Shall I carry her to the bedroom?
Ka:Hmm..Ok Sanskaar...I will bandage her leg with this crepe bandage.
The teacher did the necessary first aid for her.
Ka: Ragini and Parineeta, you take care of her..
Ra & Pa:Ok M'am..
Sanskaar carried Swara upstairs and laid her on her mattress..Then he laid the blanket on her..Ragini and Parineeta also came with them to the room..
Sa:Get well soon Swara ..Take care..
Swara smiled and Sanskaar went away..Ragini began to apply the balm on her leg..
Ra:Swara ..Tum aaram karo..
Pa:Haan... At lunch time we will bring lunch for you..Till then you can sleep..
Sw:Ok(closes her eyes)

After sometime Swara woke up...At first she couldn't believe her eyes..Sonia was sitting in front of her and was looking at Swara with a sad expression on her face..
Sw:Sonia..Tum?
So:(comes close to her. There were tears in her eyes) Please forgive me Swara ...I didn't intend to kill you...And thank you for not telling Sanskaar or anyone that it was because of me that you fell in the pond...Sorry Swara ...I know that you and Sanskaar are in love and I will never try to come in between you and Sanskaar..I had come to say this much..(gets up)Take care Swara ...(turns to leave)
Sw:Sonia..
So:(turns)Kya?
Sw: (holds her hand out)Friends??
So:(smiles happily and takes Swara 's hand)Friends...!!
Ragini and Parineeta came in with the lunch and they saw Swara and Ragini happily shaking their hands with each other...
Ra:Sonia..Tum..?
Sw:Arre Ragini..Tum log lunch lene gaye the..?Sonia,then you go and have your lunch..
So:(leaves Swara 's hand)Ok..Take care Swara ..(leaves from there)
Pa:What was all that Swara ?
Swara told them everything which happened at the pond's edge till now..
Ra:Oh..How did she find out about you and Sanskaar..?
Sw:I don't know..But she knows...
Pa:How are you feeling now Swara ?
Sw:I don't know..But I am feeling really cold...and a bit tired..
Ra:(feels her forehead)Swara ,your head is really hot..I think you are having fever..I will go and tell Kalpana M'am..(she leaves)
After sometime Ragini came with Kalpana M'am..
Ka:(feeling her forehead)Swara , you are not well..Its better for you to go back to your hostel..Ragini, you can stay with her..Take her to the hospital if her condition gets worse..Now itself you pack both of your luggages..I will tell Sanskaar to come with you till the hostel in our college bus..

Sanskaar,Swara and Ragini were sitting in the bus..Swara was sitting with Sanskaar..She was sleeping peacefully resting her head on his shoulder..Sanskaar had put his hand around her..Ragini was sitting in another seat..
Sa:(sadly)Ragini..Take care of Swara ..
Ra:Sure Sanskaar..She will get well soon..Don't worry..
Sa:I will have to go back to the camp after I leave both of you at the hostel..I will miss her(looks at Swara )
Ra:(feels sad for Sanskaar)The days will move fast Sanskaar..You will all be back on Saturday ...
Sa:Yeah..I guess..
After sometime they reached the college girls hostel..
Sa:Swara ..
Sw:(eyes closed)Haan..?
Sa:Utho..We reached the hostel..
Sw:(opens her eyes)Oh!!
Ragini,Sanskaar and Swara got down..
Sa:Swara ..Take care..Dawaai time par lena..(touches her cheek)

Sa:Ragini..Take care of her...I will call you from there Swara ..Bye both of you...(gets into the bus)
The bus left and Sanskaar was waving his hand at them through the window..Ragini and Swara also waved back..Tears filled Swara 's eyes when the bus went out of sight..Ragini noticed this..
Ra:He will be back soon Swara ..
Sw:Hmmm..(wipes her tears)
Both of them went inside...

That week passed away easily and Saturday came soon...Swara was alright by now...Sanskaar called her atleast 10 times per day to ask about her health...Both of them couldn't wait to see each other...Swara woke up early that morning..She took her mobile and dialed Sanskaar's number..
Sanskaar was packing his luggage when he saw his mobile ringing..Excitedly he picked the mobile and he saw Swara calling..He answered the call..
Sa:Hello Swara ...How are you sweetheart..?
Sw:I am fine Sanskaar...Tum jaldi aajaao...
Sa:We will reach there soon Swara ..Probably by 9:30 am..
Sw:Ok...I will wait for you at the college..Bye...
Sa:(smiles)Bye Swara ...take care..
Sw:Ok..Sanskaar..Bye..

The time was 9:30 am...Swara and Ragini were waiting anxiously in the college at the place where the buses would stop..After some minutes the two buses came and stopped in front of them..Sanskaar,Lakshya,Adarsh and Parineeta came to them...
Ra:Hii everybody...
La:Hiii Ragini...Missed you very much(puts his hand around her)...Swara how are now?
Sw:(smiles)I am fine now..
Everyone was talking excitedly since they saw after one long week...They had to tell each other about so many things...
Sa:We will be back after sometime..Aao Swara ..
Sw:Kya baat hai Sanskaar..?
Sa:Aao toh sahi..
Sanskaar led Swara to a corner where nobody could notice them..
Sw:(surprised)Yeh sab kya hai Sanskaar?
Sa:(closes her mouth with his hand)Shhh...(and he hugs her tightly)Kitne din hogaye tumhe dekh ke Swara ...(kisses her forehead) I missed you Swara ...I really missed you...Main tumhare bina ek pal bhi nahin reh sakta...
Sw:Main bhi Sanskaar...(tears fill her eyes)
He looked into her teary eyes..Sanskaar began to kiss away the tears on her cheeks slowly... He kissed her forehead and hugged her again...
Sa: I love you..
