Swara , the name is musical afterall .I am awaiting to meet her officially after I was shown her picture to me by my family.

I was looking at her photo and decided that I would marry a girl like this who is so innocent but would love to hear her thoughts on marriage ,that is if she likes me.

The ladies from my family visited her first , they have liked the family as well the girl , though they had few things to discuss like Swara's hair or height etc sonce she sported a lil short hair at that time .This evoked new interest in me to meet her . She's cone back from her higher studies in US of A hence I thought that she would be sporting a short hair which neither bothered me.But my family being a traditional Marwadi one they were particular if each and everything.

Finally , the day to meet her has officially come.I was so mesmerised by her beauty but when she spoke up her views regarding the marriage I felt I have found the one for myself. I have decided that I would just marry her .My answer was an immediate yes but Swara seemed to think and observe a lot about my family

So , Swara's family calls us up after 3 days to say that they are liking this alliance and would love to go ahead with it.But all I neeD to know was Swara's opinion too.I called her up to ask about her opinion of this.She has been irritated with my question of short hair regarding the initial talk and told me that not to expect that she would be having long hair cause the growth of it is minimal and he could back off anytime if he is expecting a his wife to have a very long hair. So , I was scared of her opinion regarding me.When I spoke to her phone too she said she is still thinking whether to take this forward or not.

I was scared out of my wits and thought I should atleast give a try and convince her that it would be really great if we get together as life partners .She has been staying n her apartment where she works with one of her friends .The friend of her's has been teasing her when she saw me. She's got dressed up in a very casual way which I usually liked on girls who are go-getters and I want one such woman for myself.

I took her out , she was wearing crochios as her slipper and as a naive question I asked her the same , she was embarrassed with my question but put up a confident face to say "So what ? They matched my shirt , and frankly I could not find anything else that goes with my dress " breaking the awkwardness that was there previously.

She also used her wit saying when are you proposing me for marriage then ? It was such an instance where I did not know what to tell .I was very happy and was openly smiling like a fool and said -Right away .She said she's not accepting the proposal until there are no red roses

Swara made me walk about 5 miles in search of her red roses

But still we couldn't find the shop that she usually picked up roses from and that distance for her is bas thoda aur door. I was so irritated with the distance already and said -Agar bas 5 min main tera woh shop nahi aaya toh main tujhe chodunga nahi .She was shocked initially but laughed it off later and told me that she had loved the ring of it. She liked the way he was no pretence , nothing.

Finally , we have reached the roses shop and I have proposeD her for marriage in front of everyone.

Later it was all just fun, we were engaged in 3 days and marriage was fixed 6 months later .But the fun during this period was so great. We have started to respect each others opinion and love has started to fall in place.

It is six years into the marriage now but we are blessed with a baby girl Aashna -our beloved.

Swara has revealed to me that she has met more than 40 guys as alliances and fell in and out of love twice but she chose me over everyone and says that it has been the best decision ever.

We met as an alliance fell in love gradually and are irrevocably in love with each other.

Swara is the best thing that has ever happened to me . I would cherish this relationship forever
