Loved how Swara acknowledged his importance in her life. The fact that she said she hasn't started loving him like he loves her, but one day she defo will. 😳

Sanskaar- Dida bond was cute! Them discussing Swara's antics together is something I can totally imagine!

Glad Ragya realised themselves the wrongs they have done to each other. 😊

DP-Swara bond is one of my favs in the show! 😳 I looove them and I can totally see Swara planting a kiss on his bald head out of pure love. Also really liked how you described Sanskaar as the least pamperd, but the most favourite.

The way Swara understood Kavita's place in Sanskaar's life and loved how she held him so preciously while he grieved.

WW3 going on in the kitchen 🤣 SO cute!

Really enjoyed it, completely refreshing and different from the show. 😃

Thank you so much for commenting and letting me know that you enjoyed it :)

I really love the character of Dida, maybe not my favorite (Sanskar and then DP take that spot) but definitely high up there on the list.

I want to save both Ragini and Laksh's chracter here. I think that there is still some hope. (Not in the show anymore but maybe through this ss)
I personally don't think what Laksh felt for Sara was true love, neither what Swara felt for Laksh. First love does not have to be true love.

I really want to see Swara plant a kiss on our adorabe Taklu's head as well 😆

And finally Thank you so much for commenting and giving such a detailed one at that :). It really made my day!

Love,
Mihika

PART 5

Everyone was sitting downstairs enjoying each other company, talking about the random nothings that families tend to yap on about. Sujata and Annapurna were excitedly talking about the wedding and were trying to think of how they can make this wedding memorable and fulfil all the dreams that they had for Sanskar's wedding with the small time they have as well as Swara and Sanskar's request for a simple wedding.

Swara and Sanskar kept stealing glances at each other sending secret smiles and talking with their eyes. They were behaving like a teenage couple. Unaware to them, however, the entire Maheshwari khandaan noticed their exchange and were smiling to themselves at how wonderful this couple was.

Amongst them was Ragini. She looked at them with this feeling that cannot be put into words. It was envy, but there was no malice, only longing. She looked at how happy Swara was, and the same happiness that reflected off of Sanskar's face as well. She then took a look at Laksh. The one person she was doing all this for. The person she claimed to love and cared for the most in the world. But was he happy? Was she really showing her love here? After getting what she wanted, was she happy? The answer to all these questions was a small simple word that broke her heart. No.

As all of them were prepared to retire to their rooms and get a good night's sleep for the coming two days, Durga Prasad called Swara over to the study to have a word with her.

"Swara, I want to talk to you today about Sanskar." He started. "Yes, Bade Papa" She urged. There was a sense of solemnity in the air which she could sense. "Swara, Sanskar mera voh beta hai jisne sab se zyada mera gussa dekha hai. Maine hamesha uspe zyada sakhti dikhayi hai, Laksh aur Aadarsh se bhi Zyada. Par ek baat boloon?" Swara just nodded "Mera sab se zyaada kabil beta bhi voh hi hai. Maine hamasha usko apna beta hi maana hai, Laksh aur Aadarsh se alag nahi hai voh mere liye. Par mere bache ne bohot kuch saha hai apni iss zindagi mein. Aur kahi na kahi uska zimidaar main bhi hoon. Aur issiliye, yeh baap aaj tumse kuch maangna chahta hai apne bet eke liye." Swara silently nodded her assent. "Swara, aaj takh jo bhi hua, aur sanskar ka hamare paas wapis aana, sirf aur sirf tumhare waja se hua hai. Tumne hamare purana walla, hasta khelta, bachkani shararaton wala, magar behad zimmidaar Sanskar lautaya hai. Main aaj ek vaada chahata hoon. Vaada karo ke tum mere bache ka saath kabhi nahi chodo ge. Hamesha issi tarha uski taakat banke rahogi. Aur mere is haste khelte Sankskar ke chehre se muskaan kabhi gaayab nahi hone dogi." Both Swara and Durga Prasad had tears in their eyes. "Main vaada karti hoon bade papa. Sanskar ka saath hamesha dungi, aur uski dhal banke rahiingi, jaise voh mera dhal banta hai." Durga Prasad patted her on her head as she left the room to go back to Sanskar.

Sanskar was sitting on the bed with his laptop, his head buried in work which was the sole holder of his attention. That was, of course, until Swara had anything to say about it. "Mr Sanskar Maheshwari, mari sautan, yani ki iss laptop ko abhi issi waqt side par rakhdo!" Swara approached him with mock anger on her face and eyes twinkling with mischief. "Acha, theek hai baba, tumhara hukum sar aankhon pe." He replied with his signature smile as he saved his work and put his laptop to the side. She walked over and promptly collapses in a heap cuddling next to Sanskar, basking in his warmth and the innate comfort he provided just by his mere presence. Sanskar wrapped a protective arm around her and was finally at peace after the hectic day. All the tiredness lay forgotten as they silently just enjoyed one another's company. Breaking the silence Swara spoke, "Zindagi bhi ajeeb hai na? Maine kabhi nahi soch tha ke koi mujhe itna zyaada pyaar karsakta hai. Pyaar se zyaada bharosa. Sanskar, itna bura hua hai hamari zindagi mein, par ab main sochti hoon, ke shayad hum dono ka milna kahi na kahi likha tha." Sanskar pondered on her words. "I don't know Swara, you know I don't believe in fate, I believe that we are stranded with situations and we do everything in our power to deal with them. I don't know whether it was destiny or not, I just know that now I have you in my life, I won't be able to live without you." He paused, Swara could sense a foreboding seriousness in his voice, "I can't lose love twice" he whimpered and held her closer as she threw her arms around him to comfort the big, strong, ruthless stone of a man who's heart was as vulnerable and innocent as that of a child. He may be the strong mountain of a man to others. But in front of her, there were no pretences. Swara broke away from the hug only to cup his face tenderly in her hands and firmly stated. "Sanskar, I have told you before and I will say it again. I will never leave you! You are as much my responsibility as you claim I am yours. I love you!" Sanskar pulled her back into a hug. "I love you too Swara, So much!" And they stayed in each other's arms for a while longer until they settled back into a comfortable position nestled in each other's arms occasionally muttering sweet nothings to each other.

Startled out of their bliss they heard a knock at their door. Ragini came in, slightly worried about what she was about to do. She never knew it had to come to the point where she would need the help of others to save her from herself.

"Tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?" Sanskar asked with an intense protective flare. "Sanskar! Calm down." Swara warned. He looked at Swara and then at Ragini, huffing he went and sat himself on the bed. "Andar aao Ragini, kuch baat karni hai?" Swara asked as she closed the door while Ragini timidly walked in. "Voh Swara, hum... voh, pata nahi kaise kahe, hum..." Flustered, Ragini couldn't get a single coherent sentence out. Swara was slightly worried. She had seen a lot of Ragini the past few days, but never had she seen her like this, she looked defeated. Even Sanskar picked up on this. He went over to the side table as Swara made her sit down. "Ragini, shaant ho jao." Swara exclaimed. Sansker went over with a glass of water. "Ragini, yeh lo, paani pee ke batao baat kya hai?" Sansker said as he passed her the glass.

Swara and Sanskar shared a look. Both of them knew that this was not an act. But they could only speculate as to what caused Ragini to break so badly. "Swara" She started. "Hum thak gaye hai." She claimed. Swara looked at Sanskar, both unsure of where this was leading. Swara had a hopeful look on her face that Sanskar was worried for. She was too optimistic for her own good. But even he had to admit that there was a nagging feeling telling him that perhaps this time she wasn't wrong. After all, he was given a chance to change and mend his ways. If he could see his fault and be redeemed in the eyes of the person he had wronged, then surely Ragini deserved a chance to be heard. But he was getting ahead of himself. They focused back on what Ragini had to say. "Ragini, khul ke bolo. What do you want to say?" Swara urged her on. "Swara, I can't take it anymore! I've become a monster! I hurt everyone who ever cared for me ad who I love. I betrayed all my relationships. Swara, you are the one I have wronged the most. And yet here you are. Supporting me." Swara looked at her with hope "Like always" Ragini added after a pause. "Swara, what's ironic is that Laksh, the person I did all this for, he isn't happy either. And to be honest, neither am I. How can I be happy Swara? I tried to get my happiness how? By hurting everyone I hold dear. How could I have even thought I could be happy when no one else is? I'm beginning to get scared of myself. I terrify myself. Swara, I don't recognise myself. I don't know who I am anymore!" She broke of sobbing into her hands. There was a silence that surrounded them with the occasional sobs heard from Ragini. Swara and Sanskar were shocked to say the least.

"Shh, Ragini bas, chup ho jao. Itna nahi rote!" Swara said as she came out of her initial shock and all she saw was that sweet old Ragini who was so broken, it tore her heart apart. She put her arms around Ragini and looked over at Sanskar asking him through her eyes what she should do. And as always, he told her to go with her heart.

"Ragini, there is only one way out of this, and that's..." "Telling the truth." Ragini completed. "I know Swara. I know that. But I also know that it is very difficult. Swara I am scared, and I need my sister more than ever before. I want to change, I want to go back to being myself, I want to discover myself. Make an identity for myself. I have been living under the shadow of expectations my whole life and the shattering realisation that I have never been able to make an identity for myself has made me more determined than ever. I also know that as a consequence I will lose Laksh. But Swara, can I really lose someone who was never mine to begin with. I will always love him. But the person it made me turn into isn't me. It isn't someone I could love. And Swara, you were the one who once told me, that in order to have someone love you need to be able to love yourself right?" Swara nodded. "Then that is what I want to do. I want to turn myself into a person I can love. I want to be able to respect myself again. I know it's a rocky road ahead. But I need you." She finished with moist eyes with Swara's eyes tearing up equally. "Ragini, main tumhare saath hoon. Tum meri behen ho aur voh baat kabhi nahi badlegi! I'm happy I have my sister back. And I am very proud of you." Swara hugged Ragini fiercely as to show her support and love. "Ragini, Swara trusts you and that is enough for me. I promise, that with Swara, I will also always be there for you as long as you are on the right path. By getting your sister back you now have this Jiju, so to say, at your service. But yes, you will still have to call me Sanskar, no jiju/bhaiya business okay?" Sanskar mentioned giving her a small but genuine smile and walked over to engulf both Swara and Ragini in a little group hug.

While there was an indication of a new chapter beginning in Ragini's life, there was a long road ahead till things would simmer down. Ragini was sure that until she has the support of Swara and now also Sanskar, she would get through it all, they would make sure of it. Swara knew that what they did from this point onwards would be crucial to Ragini's future and she would make sure that Ragini gets a chance. Sanskar was coming to terms with all the things that were changing around them. He knew in his heart that Ragini is going through the same emotions he went through when he was trying to wrap his head around all the bad deeds he had done. The road to repentance is not an easy one, but he would make sure that Ragini is given the chance he was. Swara was the angel that made things easier for him, and he will be damned if he left Ragini alone during her ordeal, she was first his friend, and he will never forget how she, back when he had just come back, taken care of him, with the purest heart that got corrupted due to a multitude of factors.

Ragini left the room feeling a lot lighter. And Swara and Sanskar were left with each other for company. "Sanskar, I know it will take time, but I finally think that Swaragini will be back once again!" With tears in her eyes, she closed the distance between them and they simply stood there. Basking in the abundance of comfort their mere presence provided.

Hi Mihika!!
The update was very sweet and left a smile on my face.

SwaSan moment was adorable. His laptop is her Sautan! !🤣

Also did Swara really say Mari instead of Meri? Rubbing off sasuma? 😆

Ragini has finally realised the he'll of a person she has become. Swara as usual accepts her apology. Waiting to see how she will revive her before the family.

Loved the way Sanskaar asked Ragini to call him Sanskaar and not Jiju.😆

Thanks for the pm and continue soon dear!
