Okay, this is my first ever analysis of any show. I'm not completely a newbie to this forum because I've commented on my friend's OS n FFs. Plus a few other topics as well. Be warned this is looong 😆
This show intrigued me from the very beginning because of its unique name. Joint name of two sisters kind of a couple name 😆
But I didn't let curiosity get the better of me since I don't watch TV a lot.
And also because, serials par se mera vishwas uth chuka hai to be very honest.
They show a few good episodes in the start and then start with the crap fest.
So I did a bit of research and then watched a few episodes. And here is my take on this show.
I've liked what I've seen of this show so far because it seems like genuine family dynamics. I don't mean to say that a sister would do such things to her sister in everyday life and all, but here the antagonist isn't a full blown vamp or something. She has emotions that range from love to dislike.
I don't suppose she's shown hating anyone as of yet. And I hope it remains that way. I have a lot to say about her. She was shown as the ideal obedient daughter, loving sister. And then suddenly as one obsessed woman. But what people fail to see is that she was brought up in a conservative, traditional household. I've seen many families wherein they search for a groom, deem him suitable and start preparing their daughter to be the ideal bahu. The woman too starts loving the guy without seeing him, just knowing about someone who they are destined to spend the rest of their lives with. And that's exactly what happened with her. She met him, liked him and starting loving him.
Only to come to know he is in love with her sister.
She must have been so heartbroken! Agreed, she shouldn't have gone off the rails and done everything she did after that, but could you blame her? She was hammered with the knowledge that he was her ONE. She was destined to spend her life with him.
Maybe, her love for him made her do all this? Cause here if we are criticizing her, then we are damn hypocrites to be seeti bajaoing in the theatres when we see a hero going all stalker, fighting with guys coming to meet the heroine, and going gaga over the hero and what not.
If that is true louuu, then what is this?
Then comes the other sister, I myself kept calling her mahanta ki devi, but then I realized that I too wouldn't be able to see my sister getting hurt, or getting zaleel in front of all. Despite she doing everything to me. I would want the best for her and would want her to walk on the right path again.
Cheesy? Clich? Maybe. Maybe too much of sanskar bachpan me? Too much of sanskari movies bachpan me?
Where no matter who does wrong to you, you shouldn't return the favour and try to do right by them.
Must be Tulsi Virani and Parvati ka asar bachpan ka :D
But whatever, I think I understand where shes going with this. And did I mention I absolutely loved her yesterday? She rocked man!!!
Then, comes the hero 😉
Grey to white but still retaining shades of grey
Ooh! How I loved that he didn't mind getting his hands dirty for his wifey. This guy would do just about anything for his wife. To keep her smiling. To keep her happy. Hope he does something to keep her WITH him. Though bade papa and badi maa and dadi took care of that.
Anyway, I love him. Period.😃
And coming to good guy turning headache.
*sigh* No comments. Ragini 2.0. Biwi ka sara asar pad gaya. Behaving like his wife did and then telling her "tum pyaar ke layak nahi ho". As if then tum ho.
Hunh.
And I love Alkaji here. She may or maynot be helping rags here but it was refreshing to see the family support Swara like that and admonish Rags. Not like still trying to save their Laado poora bhanda phootne ke baad bhi. And without even slapping rags they are punishing her knowing she is an emotional person and that's where they struck.
I saw full epis this revelation drama ke time hi. Pehle ka kuch nai.
Though this post might get lost in the sea of OS and FFs, Im happy I ranted and got this off my chest.
Can peacefully go and prepare for my project seminar now :D
Peace,
Ashum
