Are they trying to make laksh negative?

I'm not getting the point. why did laksh save swara and she fall in his arms. I don't get what CVs are stored for us. swalak never ever unite. so for what such a scene? if laksh is positive he should respect his bhabhi. he will not look her as a lover. I have a strong feeling that they would make laksh negative. no other reason I found.
