Sw: (smiling)Sanskaar..The kids are ready..
Sa: Swara, you all go to the park..I am not feeling well..
Swara nodded and went out with Kavita and the kids. Even though Sanskaar believed Kavita's words, he still couldn't bear her presence around him. He couldn't easily forget whatever she had done to him in the past.
*************FIVE YEARS AGO************
Sanskaar Maheshwari and Kavita Singhania had just got engaged. Annapurna Maheshwari watched them both chatting happily with each other and greeting the important guests who had come to attend the function. How she wished her husband was also present there in the party hall to witness their son's happiness. But she knew his condition, and she mentally cursed Ragini's one big mistake.
When Sanskaar went into his room and took his father's blessing, earlier in the evening, DurgaPrasad Maheshwari just raised his hand and touched on top of his head with an expressionless face. Sanskaar's eyes filled with tears, he hugged his father and kissed on top of his head.
Now, he gazed at Kavita and smiled at her, he knew that he loved her a lot. And he was proud that she was his father's choice. If only Ragini also respected her father's decision like that, Sanskaar could have witnessed his Papa happily mingling with the guests and enjoying the function, today. But she did the unthinkable. She fell in love with Lakshya and eloped with him against their Papa's wish. Kavita turned to look at him and noticed that he was deep in thought.
Ka: What happened Sanskaar..? What is bothering you..?
Sa: (sighs) Its nothing Kavi..I was just thinking about Ragini..
Ka: (sighs) I can understand Sanskaar..
She gently placed her hand on his arm, consolingly.
The Singhanias had been the business partners with the Maheshwari's for a long time. Sanskaar's and Kavita's marriage was fixed by their parents many years ago, since the time they were adolescents. This marriage was important to keep their business relations too, according to Durga Prasad Maheshwari and Shekhar Singhania.
So, Sanskaar and Kavita grew up loving each other. Kavita was Ragini's best friend too. Sanskaar was the head of the Maheshwari's company and Kavita was working directly under her Dad Shekhar in the Singhania's company. She was bound to take care of the company after Shekhar's reigning time ended. Sanskaar knew that Kavita was an ambitious girl who had great plans about future and he was not against them too. He wanted her happiness and he was ready to provide her with anything she wanted in her life.
Ragini's death changed everything in their lives. Two weeks after the Engagement day, Durga Prasad expressed the wish to see his daughter Ragini, to Sanskaar. Sanskaar called up Ragini and she promised to come and meet them. It was then that the fatal accident took place and Sanskaar was left with the possession of the two one year old twin kids of Ragini.
Ragini's body was brought to the house for cremation ceremony. Durga Prasad couldn't bear the news and he too died after a few days. Some more days passed and one evening when Sanskaar came home, he directly went to the kids' room. But the kids were not there. When he asked Annapurna about them, she was surprised.
An: Sanskaar beta, they were sleeping in the bed. (remembers something) Oh yes, Kavita was with them. She might have took them outside into the lawns.
Sa: No maa..I just came from outside..I didn't see them anywhere around.
Just then, Kavita came inside, but she was alone. She wore a strange expression. Sanskaar who was already very tensed, went towards her and held her shoulders.
Sa: Kavi..where are the kids..?
Ka: Sanskaar..I had thought of talking to you beforehand..But then I thought that it was better to tell you afterwards.
Sa: (impatiently shouts)About what..? And for god's sake, just tell me where the kids are..?
Ka: I took them to a orphanage and they have agreed to keep them. After all they are orphans, na..!
Sanskaar was shocked and he slapped her face hard.
Sa: How dare you, Kavita...!!
Kavita touched her cheek and she stared at Sanskaar who was shaking with rage. Annapurna was watching them with shocked expression.
Ka: (angrily)Sanskaaar..
She raised her hand to slap him and he caught her hand on time. She too was shaking with humilation and anger.
Sa: You must have asked me before doing such a disgusting thing, Kavita..I never expected you to stoop so low..
Ka: Sanskaar..How can you forget what Ragini did to your family so easily..She was bitch and her kids would be no different..!
Another slap fell hard on her face, and it was Annapurna this time who had hit her. Kavita looked at her unbelievably.
Ka: Aunty..!
An: Get out..!
Kavita looked at Sanskaar for support, but he turned his face away from her.
Ka: (shaking all over) Its ok Sanskaar..(looks at AP) Aunty..If this is what I get from you, then I am breaking this engagement..
She removed her ring and threw it on Sanskaar's face.
Ka:(defiantly)..If Sanskaar wants to be the father of those two kids, then its fine.. I am not that broad minded like you people..I will tell my Papa to stop every business relations with your family..Everything is finished from this moment..
She stormed off from the house after that and Sanskaar went to the orphanage to get the kids back.
But things didn't go as expected by Kavita. Shekhar was not ready to break the friendly and business ties with the Maheshwaris. He was a good friend to Durgaprasad and so he tried to convince Kavita instead. But arrogant as ever, Kavita was not at all ready to marry Sanskaar after that incident.
Sanskaar tried to talk to her, since he loved her. He was ready to forgive her, since he knew about her impulsive nature. But Kavita was not ready to forgive him for the humiliation she had faced at the Maheshwari house, nor was she ready to apologize. Days passed and both Sanskaar and Kavita continued to meet at work. But they just shared a business relationship.
Shekhar was getting secret information about a person who was exchanging their business secrets with a rival company and he thought of informing Sanskaar about it. But they could never find out that person.
One day, they got the news that Kavita got married to Arjun Singh Rathore, who was the heir of their rival company, Rathore Enterprises. She was the one who was passing their inside informations. Now with the help of it, Rathores owned the Singhania's business and Kavita was its Managing Director.
Shekhar was heartbroken after hearing the news and Sanskaar couldn't believe that Kavita would do such a henious treachery to her own father. But when he came to know the reason behind it, he was even more shocked. She severed the business ties between Maheshwaris and the Singhanias. She wanted to keep her challenge to Sanskaar, he remembered her words . "I will tell my Papa to stop every business relations with your family..Everything is finished from this moment.." When Shekhar himself was against it, she found another way to do so.
Sanskaar was not ready to make Shekhar pay for his daughter's sins. So he included Shekhar in his company and made his business partner again, tranferring half the ownership to him. Together they took their company to new heights.
Kavita and her husband had moved to Mumbai after that and Sanskaar heard nothing about her after all this while.
And he had met her after five years, on that night when he was returning from his office. He couldn't control his anger and contempt towards her and so he got drunk. It was then that he went to Swara's villa in his intoxicated condition.

It had been one hour since they had left and Sanskaar was already missing Swara and his kids. He decided to call her and it was Kavita who had answered the phone.
Ka: (faking to be sad and worried) Oh no, Sanskaar..I was going to call you..Swara and kids have been kidnapped..
Sa: What..?!!
Ka:(giggles) I couldn't do anything, sweety..!
Sanskaar realized with a shock that it was a big mistake to trust Kavita again in his life. He was sure now that Kavita was against the kidnapping of Swara and the kids.
Sa: (shouts)How dare you, Kavi..!!
Ka: (giggles again)Kaviii..Oooh, so you haven't forgotten our good old days, have you..?! (then seriously)You used to call me Kavi, but I became Kavita for you after I tried to get rid of Ragini's kids..
Sa: Oh..shut up you bitch..How dare you kidnap my kids and Swara. If I get hold of you now, I will strangle you to death, you evil woman..
Ka: (laughs) Easy, easy..Mr.Sanskaar Maheshwari..I will send you a video now..Please have mercy to watch it..(disconnects the call)
Sa: Huh..Hellooo..Hellooo..
Just then he received a video message and he frantically opened to view it. The vision he saw was spine chilling.
The kids and Swara were bound with thick rope together. They were sitting inside a godown full of explosive crackers. Swara was weeping and crying for help, where as Ayaan and Navya were unconscious.
Sa: Nooo...!!!!
He didn't know what to do and he was in complete shock.
The call came again, it was from Swara's number again. For a moment, he felt relieved thinking that it was Swara. But then he realized that it was Kavita, since she was having Swara's phone with her.
Sa: (measured voice)What do you want..?
Ka: You..! I want you, Sanskaar..!
Sa: What..?! Rubbish..!
Ka: They are at the mercy of my henchmen..If you want to see them safe, you have to come and spend the night with me.. I am waiting for you at Suite No. 1007, Hotel Royal Grande..
Sanskaar couldn't believe his ears.
Sa: Oh really..! What about your husband, Arjun..?
Ka: Arjun is on an important business meeting. He will be back late in the night. (laughs softly)..In fact I had lied to him saying that I am staying at Swara's villa tonight..
Sa: And why do you want me now..? You could have married me five years ago..
Ka:(voice softens) I loved you Sanskaar..But I loved power and position, more than you..But when I have got them both, I began to feel sorry for myself..Marrying Arjun was one of my biggest mistakes..I am not satisfied with this marriage, Sanskaar..Please love me the way you had loved me, Sanskaar..I am craving for it..Before you give your body and soul to Swara, I want to mark you as mine..I can't let her have what had been mine, once up on a time. I need one night full of love, Sanskaar..I will cherish it for ever..And then you can marry Swara..Swara won't know anything about this, Sanskaar..Please, for our old times sake..I don't wish to harm her, because she happens to be a dear friend of mine..And the kids, I have never really liked them..But if you deny me this pleasure, I will not think once before finishing them off..
Sanskaar was listening to her intently all the while she was talking. Once she finished, he spoke to her with a soft voice.
Sa: No, Kavita..I can understand your feelings..Even I crave for you, after all these years..Why did you leave me Kavi..I have never stopped loving you..I will come now..There is no need to harm them..
Ka: Ok Sanskaar..

Kavita was waiting for him in the Honeymoon Suite. Sitting on a chair, she admired the decorations in the bed room. The faint glow of Candle lights and the deep colour of red rose petals felt like aphrodisiac to her. She tried to imagine, how it would feel like scorching the sheets with her own Sanskaar. She was pretty sure that after this night, he would fall in love with her again. All those years of courtship, which ranged from their adoloscence to their youth age could not be vanquished so easily. She was sure that he had feelings for her even now. Even after marrying Swara, they could continue this beautiful relationship. Swara will take care of the kids at home and Sanskaar would find solace in his Kavi only. Kavita blushed at the thought.
Just as she was spinning her future dreams with Sanskaar, she heard a knock at the door. Feeling excited, she walked towards the door. Just as she opened the door, Sanskaar came inside with a bouquet of red roses. She was delighted and she hugged him tightly and closed her eyes feeling extremely contented.
Ka: Oh..You still remember these are my favourite, Sanskaar..
Sa: Yes, Kavi..
Sanskaar hugged around her neck she buried her head into his chest, feeling exhilarated. They stood like that for some time and Kavita felt solace in his arms.
Sanskaar closed the door behind him and he gently pulled her apart from the embrace. He touched her chin and raised her face towards his face. Kavita felt desire course through her body, when she noticed his passionate eyes.
Sa: I can't wait to make love to you, Kavi..You were always in my heart..I have missed you so much..
Ka: Oh..Sanskaar..I love you..
She kissed his cheek with love.
She led him towards the bedroom. When they reached near the bed, she turned towards him to take off his coat. Just as she raised her hands to remove it, she felt two strong hands on her arms. She didn't get time to realize what was happening, when those arms forcefully grabbed her and turned her around to face, her husband, Arjun Singh Rathore.
Ka: Arjun..
Ar: Yes Arjun, you bitch..!
He pushed her to the ground and she fell down with a thud. She was shocked when he saw him shake hands with Sanskaar.
Ar: Thank you Sanskaar, for saving me from this treacherous woman..
Kavita stood up from the ground and went for Sanskaar. She caught hold of his collars and shrieked indignantly at him.
Ka: How could you so this to me, Sanskaaar..
Sanskaar released his collars from her grip in a swift move and distanced her from him. He looked at her with a sarcastic expression.
Sa: What did you think..? Only you could play dirty games like this..I just recorded and made a voice clip in which you were blackmailing me..Actually I had recorded it to show it to the police, but when I heard your ransom offer, I thought about sending it to your husband..(smirks)
Actually, Sanskaar and Arjun had arrived together at the hotel. He had entered the room, through the still open door while Kavita embraced Sanskaar, with closed eyes. It was after that only, had Sanskaar closed the door.
Ka: But you were rivals..! How did you get together..?
Ar: We were only business rivals..But I hadn't told you about my latest business plans.. Sanskaar has come to his Mumbai office, in connection with a huge business deal incorporating so many business organizations. And our company was one of them..When we met, we set aside our differences and got friendlier with each other..We used to be friends in college and so it was quite easy, you know..The business rivalry was between our parents and forefathers..We decided to mark an end to it..Then I asked him to forgive me, for marrying you and told him that I didn't know that you happened to be his fiancee, once upon a time..I came to know about it only later, when you told me about it, Kavita, and then I regretted hurting him, but didn't tell you..That is why I could never love you wholeheartedly, Kavita..You were a selfish woman..But I could never dream of divorcing you, even though our marriage was a kind of business deal between my father and you..But now after seeing your true colours, I am going to divorce you, filing a case against you for this infidelity.. I even have proof against you..
Kavita felt as if her world was crumpling around her. She slumped down on the bed, which was decorated with roses.
Arjun turned towards Sanskaar and put his arm around him.
Ar: Sanskaar..Swara and kids are safe in my car..Those kidnappers were my men and they immediately obeyed my orders.. Swara knows the truth too..I have made her listen to that voice clip..
Sa: Thank you so much Arjun..
Sanskaar hugged Arjun, since he was very much relieved. He left the hotel room in a hurry to meet Swara and the kids. He knew that they would be shaken to core after the kidnapping incident.
When Sanskaar met Swara, she ran into his arms. Both of them were crying hard. The kids were lying asleep in the car.He gazed at them with relief in his eyes. Then he cupped her face and gazed into her beautiful eyes.
Sa: I love you Swara..If something had happened to you..!
Sw: (fearful look)Sanskaar..
Sanskaar hugged Swara again with all his love. Swara put her petite arms around his strong body. She placed her head on his chest and Swara felt as if she was in the safest arms in the world.
