Hello everyone,
Apologies, I'm probably going to sound like a broken record, but I must say it is Sanskaar who has been taking the cake for me in these last few episodes. Though he hasn't had much to do, Varun has been admirable. 👏
There are two moments that I loved. One of them is the car scene, that I'm sure all of us SwaSan fans enjoyed. Throughout most of it, Sanskaar had tears brimming in his eyes! 😒 Even a practical guy like Sanskaar is naturally going to be affected by the farmhouse drama. He had to fake-kill his cousin, and even if it is fake, I'm sure most people would be affected by the 'dead' body of the kid that used to call them Bhai. Not only that, he saw how Swara was affected by the drama as well, and we all know that if Swara is hurt, then Sanskaar is hurt too. And of course, this means an end to their mission that brought the two of them together. 😔
It was his line "Hum jeet gaye, Swara." that really made me think. I felt as if he wasn't just reminding Swara that they had won, but reminding himself. Neither Swara nor Sanskaar are as jubilant as you would expect winners to be: Swara because she's concerned with Ragini (it is beyond my understanding how Swara thought she was going to milao her Maa-Baba without Ragini's truth coming out in front of everyone *eye roll*), and Sanskaar because he knows how Swara feels and that this means the end of their 'partnership'.
So, as they drove back home, Sanskaar is perhaps thinking of all of these things. He knows what the end of the mission, but even with the turmoil he must be going through, he doesn't forget about Swara. Sanskaar needs comfort too, but woh bechaara toh Swara ko handkerchief dekar comfort kar raha hain. He knows what's going through Swara's mind, he knows she's thinking about Ragini. And I think somewhere deep down, Sanskaar understands Ragini too. After all, he fought for his first love and planned revenge against those he considered responsible for her death, and Ragini was also fighting for her first love, but she went above and beyond, however, unlike Sanskaar, she didn't stop falling to the lowest of lows. 😳
The other moment I loved is from the previous episode. It was only a teeny-weeny moment, but it caught my attention. Just after Sanskaar starts bag mein bharo-ing Laksh's 'body' (I'm never going yo get over the whole bag mein bharkar, pahadi se pekna thing...too good! 😛) there's a shot where it looks like Sanskaar is leaning against the pillar with his knees pulled in close to his body. I feel like this indicates just how much the fake drama affected Sanskaar. As I mentioned previously, it can't be easy for anyone to watch their cousin brother 'die', especially, when it's you who is doing the 'killing'. Of course, Sanskaar and Swara were 'acting' during the farmhouse incident, but I think some of the moments were 'real', including this one.
Arre, yaara, I know I'm overthinking this a lot and maybe that moment doesn't really mean anything, but kya karun, mujhe shayaad zyaada sochne ki bemaari hain, unlike most of the Maheshwaris and the Gadodias. *eye roll* 😆
I'm really hoping Sanskaar stays true to himself in the upcoming episodes. Who knows what the CVs have in store for us, but I hope Sanskaar's character doesn't end up in the CVs pile of 'Hmm, let's mess with this character'. Don't you dare ruin Sanskaar, CVs! Usse toh baksh doh!
