Chinu can i ask u something
Do u believe in widow marriages
If yes then ur point is wrong m sure a girl who has lost her hubby woh pyar toh karti hogi na apne hubby se so if the first love quote is correct toh i think after her hubby's death she doesn't has a right to remarry afterall her first love is died na but aisa nhi hai
Do u watch ishq ka rang safed...the lead girl is a widow n according to the first love is unforgettable wala quote that serial should be ban or shut down but i guess it getting decent trps
Toh yaar plzz yeh first love se upar utho
Love is not a race ki if u came first toh hi jeetogey
Love is a feeling a beautiful feeling phir chahe 1st ho 2nd or 3rd the first love thing is a taboo nothing else😊

I was just going to say the same thing. No 2 people are alike. No 2 marriages are alike. Shomi said in some dialogue to Dida, didn't she, that her marriage failed because the man Dida chose for her never loved her? Who knows if she tried to make it work or not? Perhaps he never had any affection for her, and that kind of killed any chance she had of falling in love with him and forgetting Shekar.

Be that as it may, I really don't see the relevance of taking her failed marriage as a template for predicting the success or failure of the next generation's marriages. In reality, even full siblings, brought up in the same house, with the same upbringing, have very different marital experiences. Food for thought, huh?

I still don't get the double standards being talked about here, at all.

Swara and Sanskar are two best friends before the marriage. After the forced marriage their friendship can turn to love and might be acceptable. Whereas in Sharmista's case, forced marriage is not between best friends. So Sharmista couldn't accept her marriage and added to this her pregnency with the person she loved was not acceptable by her to bound to forced marriage..

First thing one needs to do is to chuck away all the Mills & Boon novels in the dustbin😆
Real life doesnot work like Mills & Boon. First love is not God's gift to mankind. It is not something sacred that one will sit nursing its wounds for the rest of his/her life and stop living.😆 Very few highly sentimental people do that. Most don't.

They showed Sharmistha marriage break. I think that had more to do with her already being pregnant. You think a husband will not notice? Why do you think her ex-husband never owned up Swara?

One last thing - love is not God. Other relationships are equally important sometimes more so. You love your family also. When it comes to choosing between family and love most of the time people choose family - especially if they have reached a mature age.

Swara is shown to be mature - she cannot and will not choose her love for Lakshya over her mother. She has simply let that love wither in her heart because it is no longer Practical.

That is the key word. Love also has to be practical. One cannot be in la la land in real life.

There are no double standards at play here. Simply the practicalities of life which are making Swara choose Sanskar and once he is her husband that will impact her psychologically and start influencing her feelings towards him.

Billorani: Mills & Boon are an absolute curse to humanity. Such shitty stuff I can't even 😆 Had the misfortune of reading 1 of their books & at the end of it, my head literally went for a spin & what else can I say, it was just horrible 😆

This falling in love second time is double standard & shiz really needs to stop. Do we want half of the world population to just sulk & remain lovelorn? God help with such thinking!

If anything Shomi's life is a lesson for Swara, what NOT to do when in love with a guy like Shekhar & Lux ji. Swara, you lucky girl, learn from your mom. I am sure Shomi will agree with me here 😆
