Part 12

Ragya walked down to the hall and joined everyone at the party. Soon swasan were seen coming down as well.Swara was dressed in a white and blue pole ka dot saree. She left her hair open and let her eyes do the talking with those Kajal. Sanskar wore a blue shirt with a white scraf and a white bell bottom to complete his look. They walked hand in hand and looked perfect. As everyone arrived the party was in full flow. Everyone wished Dp and Annapurna.
After a while, Laksh clinged the wine glass and spoke-
Excuse me everyone. Can I have your attention please?
Everyone turned their attention to Laksh. Swasan who were busy romancing looked on as Laksh continued-
Thank you everyone for turning up today. Its the day we celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mr.&Mr. Durgaprasad Maheshwari. He winked at his father while Dp smiled.
They are in many ways the perfect couple and I really am lucky to have them as my parents. Congratulations mom, Dad( he raised the glass to Dp). Whenever I did a mistake, they corrected me and gave me chances to redeem myself. You never showed your back on me. Thank you so much for that. I am sorry for all the mistakes I did. I am sorry for not turning back for 3 years. I am sorry ma..I am sorry papa. Laksh moved towards dp and Annapurna to touch their feet. Dp stopped Laksh and hugged Laksh. Annapurna was teary eyed as she could see how her son was mature now. Laksh moved to Annapurna and held his ears and said- sorry ma..I made a mistake. Annapurna ran her hand over his face and placed a kiss on his forehead.
Ragini's eyes were moist with joy as finally Laksh was happy with his family. Swara held sanskar's arms tightly as a tear escaped her eyes. Parish, sujata&ram and uttara were all happy and joined Laksh and Dp&Annapurna. Laksh continued-
Ma, Papa, there is one more thing I wish to tell you..
Swasan looked at each other and then back at Laksh as he went to ragini and held her hand. He brought her towards them and continued-
I and ragini want to get married.
Everyone was elated by the news. Annapurna gave ragini a warm hug as one by one everyone congratulated ragya. Swasan moved forward to wish ragya-
Swara hugged ragini and wished her- congratulations while the brothers shared a embrace. Sanskar raised a toast for the evening-
Tonight let's celebrate the togetherness of us, he held swara's hand and continued-
Let's celebrate the magic of love...and as simple as it gets let's celebrate love as it made our life beautiful. To love !

All the couples came to the dance floor...uttara made parish, Dp&Annapurna and ram&sujata to come on the dance floor as well.

Laksh joined everyone on the dance floor with ragini..

Laksh held ragini by her waist while ragini held on to his shoulder. They moved slowly with the music.

Ragya held on to each other protectively as they realized they need to be there for each other. Laksh didn't hurry on the dance. He let her sink in to the relationship. They knew that they had to give each other time...they need time and they had a forever...

Sanskar forwarded his hand for dance and Swara who was beaming with joy took it. Swara placed her one hand on his shoulder while Sanskar placed his one hand on her waist. They held their other hand into each others and looked at each other-
Wafadari ki woh rasmain..
Nibhayenge hum tum kasme..
Ek bhi saans zindagi ki jab tak ho apne bas main...
Swasan were just looking at each other's eyes and they could find it there...they found the love...the care..trust and respect there... Sanskar moved forward and while still dancing he placed a kiss on swara's forehead which made Swara close her eyes as her heart knew that it was one of the best moments of her life and she closed her eyes as she didn't want her own eyes to jinx it. As Sanskar parted from the kiss Swara opened her eyes and looked at her husband with moist eyes.

A tear escaped swara's eyes, Sanskar stopped it from flowing and nodded his head sideways-
Dil ko mere hua yakeen..hum pehle bhi mile kahin..
Silsila ye sadiyon ka koi aaj ki Baat nahin..
Swara rested her head on sanskar's shoulder as Sanskar let her feel the moment when finally all was right. Swara saw ragya happy and she closed her eyes to see sanskar's smiling image flashing. She opened her eyes and looked at Sanskar who gave her a bright smile. She looked at him and thought- mere humnawa...mere humsafar..

**Later that night**
Swara was adoring the moon as the black clouds flooded the sky and the stars lit up. Sanskar held her from behind as she laid back on him. They just stood there and looked at the serenity around as Sanskar spoke-
Swara...
Hmmm...
I love you...
Swara blushed and replied-
I know pati dev..Sanskar I need to tell you something..
Say...
Swara turned around to face Sanskar..she noticed that the collar of sanskars T-shirt wasnt proper, she made it right, looked him in the eye and said-

**Earlier that evening **
Swara was looking at herself in the mirror when ragini entered swasan's room. Swara greeted her with a smile and complimented her.
Thank you Swara. You look very beautiful. Blue suits you.
Thanks ragini. Swara blushed and continued- blue is sanskars favorite color.
Ragini smiled and continued-
I..I...Swara...
What happened ragini? Why are you so hesitant..any problem?
Ragini went ahead and spoke-
Swara...about you and Laksh..I mean...Swara..I love Laksh.. And we are ready to give our relationship a chance..but...
Swara understood ragini's state, smiled at her and said-
I can understand ragini..its tough right? When you have to face your loves past everyday. Ragini, I and Laksh were together.. We can't change that..yes, we were in love. We wanted to be there together and live together. But...that's past. Swara looked at her and sanskars photo taken on their 1st anniversary and took a deep breath...
I am Swara Sanskar maheshwari today and this is my present and future. Ragini , Laksh will be there in my memories...he is my first love and he will have that place in my heart forever. But you know what ragini, Sanskar...Sanskar is my life...he is the reason I am alive today, he is my better-half and my love. Sanskar accepted me with all my faults, my past and held my hand to have a future together. Sanskar was my chance to love and live again. Swara looked at ragini and could see ragini's eyes filled with tears-
You love laksh..right? Then don't think about anything else ragini..Laksh wants to take the chance of life..chance of love with you..five him that chance..give chance to your love..Laksh is your best friend ragini..give your friend a chance to fall in love with you...love takes time...sometimes just a second and sometimes it needs a forever.. But it happens..you really are lucky to have Laksh as your love..friendship makes it easy to live life but when your love is your friend..life becomes beautiful. Swaragini were teary eyed...ragini hugged Swara as tears fell from her eyes- thank you Swara...broke the hug and went from there...
**flashback ends**

As Swara finished saying all to Sanskar..Sanskar lifted her chin to face her..to see Swara crying. He wiped her tears and took her in a tight embrace.

After 3 years

Ragini was putting on her anklets when Laksh came in. She gave him her ever beautiful smile and was about to say something when Laksh kept him hand on her mouth. He held her by her shoulder and ragya looked at themselves in the mirror. Laksh took the vermilion and applied it on raginis maang and said- Happy anniversary Mrs.ragini Laksh maheshwari.ragini blushed and wished him - same to you Mr.Laksh maheshwari. Laksh held ragini's hand and went downstairs.

**Swasan room**
Sanskar was looking at his beautiful wife who looked pretty than ever. Swara had a different glow these days and looked all chubby and he did admit that the pregnancy look suited her.
Sanskar...I have become fat. See.. She said pointing at the baby bump.
Sanskar laughed and went to his wife and pulled her cheeks..
Swara made a pout face and then hugged Sanskar..
What happened Swara?
I love you Sanskar...
I know wifey..I love you too..he broke the hug and could see her eyes moist.
Everything is going to be alright mrs.SSM. And you really have become fat and he chuckled. Swara hit him on arm playfully.
Sanskar placed a kiss on swara's forehead and said- we will be together forever... Coz my heart beats for you...swasan held their hands and went downstairs..
Everyone gathered in the main hall. Ragya did the Pooja followed by the other couples of the house. Ragya took blessing from the elders. Parish and swasan wished them as well. Dp and Annapurna gifted ragya a necklace and bracelet while ram and sujata presented them with the dress for the evening. Parish got ragya gifts as well. Sanskar said- god! Ragini..lucky..sorry guys...don't have a gift as of now...but Swara has something for you.
Swara gave a gift wrapped box to ragya.Sanskar asked ragya to open it. As they opened the gift, ragya looked at each other surprised and then looked at Swara with happiness and smile beaming on their faces. Ragini went ahead to give Swara a hug while Laksh showed everyone the gift. Everyone adorded the gift and Annapurna was happy that her family was happy and complete now.
Ragini took the gift to their room and was busy deciding where to place it when Laksh came in.
Ragya hung the gift on the wall near the window and stood their holding hands and started at the painting.
Swara had gifted ragya a painting of ragya, taken on their 1st anniversary and beside the painting was written in red-
"Red Roses are a symbol of love
And I wish they bloom in your garden of life
Forever"
Swasan were standing in the garden, holding hands, looking at the garden that they had planted 6 years back. Swara rested her head on sanskars shoulder and smiled at the white orchids around.
Swasan started the garden the very next day after marriage. Sanskar doesn't get Swara orchids everyday, instead he planted it for her, just the way he planted his love in her heart.
There is a painting of swasan made by swara , the message on the painting reads-
" I always liked white orchids...
But with you around...I fall in love with them..."

Swara and Laksh took chances to live again and finally found love. True swalak can't forget the memories..but who said memories need to be forgotten.. Memories are always a treasure.. We might not have a forever with our first love...but love is forever... Swara found her forever with sanskar-"swasan". While ragini gave her friendship with laksh a chance to blossom into love -"ragya".
Love isnt easy...its a roller coaster of emotions... Its not about"I LOVE YOU"..its about"I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU". And it comes with a tag of-" No Conditions Applied".
