Chapter 2

Monday mornings are tiring. After weekend fun, going back to work on Monday is hectic. As Monday comes we start counting for the weekend to come again. But, if you have that one person in your life that makes everyday count then even Monday mornings are special. Mumbai - the city that never sleeps has started its week with people jogging and cycling in the early morning. Among the mumbaikars one guy in his early 20s dressed in jogging attire, admiring the sea waves as they clashed with the rocks was returning home. He looked at his watch and realized he has to reach home by 7.00, otherwise he will be late. Just then his mobile beeped. He checked his cell phone and there was a message and an image sent to him by his girlfriend.

'Good morning sanskaaarrr. ' And the image showed a girl dressed in a blue kurta with silver border on neckline and sleeves. The kurta had red colored patterns/designs. The outfit was complete with the red leggings. The girl looked beautiful. She had kept her hair open; there was kajal, her jhumkas and the bangles like always. Sanskar couldn't control the smile that crept on his face and he replied- 'good morning miss. Swara Gadodia. With you in my life my mornings will always be good. '

Sanskar took a seat in the nearby bench which was vacant and kept looking at the image - **He remembered the dress; he had given this to swara as a gift not as a boyfriend but as lakshya brother on her last birthday. He had confessed his feelings to swara just 2 months ago in a typical bollywood lover boy style. Swara didn't accept neither did she reject. She wasn't ready for any commitment and Sanskar didn't force her. ' I like you, par I am not ready for being in a relationship now. 'That's what she told him on that day. But, after his proposal they were not just friends but something more than that. **

Sanskars mobile beeped, it was again a message from his girlfriend- mera pic dekhna band karo and kaam par jao. :D..Take care. Sansakar couldn't help but smile at his girlfriend knowing him so well. Just then he mentally slapped himself for thinking about her and forgetting that he was getting late. He checked the time and it was already 7.15. He then did a running at his best to reach home by 7.30.

Swara was in her musical class when she received message from sanskaaarrr. His message now days made her blush. From the time Sanskar has confessed his feelings for her, she didn't look at Sanskar just as a friend. The very first time when lakshya introduced them to each other, she had asked lakshya- Sanskar? Ye konsa car hai? Kaunse company ka hai? She used to make fun of his name. and that day Sanskar had asked her- main hut oh maheshmari company ka, aur kyat um meri owner banana chahogi? Swara had laughed on that till her stomach ached. But, now when she remembers it she feels happy. It was cheesy yet sweet she thought.

Lakshya who was sitting beside her noticed her blushing and asked- what happened?

This brought swara out of her thoughts and she looked beside her at lakshya and replied- nothing. Why?

i am noticing. There is something different in you aaj kal. I mean kuch toh baat hai. I don't know what.

There is nothing. Don't use your brain too much otherwise your knee will pain.

Same dialogue again. Don't you have anything new to tell?

I tell the same thing again but what's the use? You don't understand only. And she chuckled.

On the other side of world, there was a girl getting head massage done from her aunt.

Bua masi you give the best head massage. All my stress and tension vanish when you soft fingers give me oil massage.

Omg! I didn't know that. Drama queen, your grandma is more talented than me in giving head massages.

Of course she is better than you; after all she is your mom. But, for now you get the best massager award, saying so she turned and gave her aunt a hug.

After sometime she broke the hug and was about to retire to bed when her aunt asked- beta,..

The girl knew what was coming, she replied- bua- papa, dadaji and dadi se baat hui. And masi- ma aur dida se bhi baat hogayi. Its my routine right?

With swara as well bua masi. She is busy with the next event preparations with lakshya. Ragini told all the details swara had told her and all that she talked to her family. Hearing this entire, bua masi felt emotional. Ragini went to her aunt and said- I know you also miss them, no worries; we will go soon to meet them. Next week may be, and smiled.

Her aunt went placed a peck on her forehead- god bless you beta.

Swara was waiting in a garden which is near to her college. She looked at her watch - its 3'o clock..where is this Mr.maheshwari...he said we will meet at 2.30.just then someone closed her eyes from behind. Swara knew its sanskar. She removed the palm closing her eyes and turned back to see a smiling sanskar.she was about to blast at him just then Sanskar took out the chocolates and gave it to her. She was delighted seeing them. She hugged Sanskar and he returned the hug. Swara felt sanskar's arm around her waist.she broke the hug made a angry face and said
You came so late...I was angry on you.and turned her back towards him..Sanskar stood in front of her and made a puppy face. He held his ears and said
Sorry yaar Swara..important meeting thi.isliye late hogaya.please maaf kardo.
Swara felt happy that Sanskar maheshwari is doing all this for her.she looked at the chocolate in her hand and then looked up at Sanskar and smiled.
Chalo maaf kia tumhe.
They both sat in a vacant bench nearby. Swara was telling him about the new event Laksh and Swara has taken up. Sanskar on the other hand was listening to her...correction was staring at her.she looked so pretty in the dress he gifted her. He was looking at her eyes the way they went big while she said things and how beautiful and innocent as she made a puppy face. Her jhumkas were hitting her neck as she moved her head here and there to say things to him. He loved the way she kept one hand on her shoulder and was more of friend to him. After sometime Swara's mobile started ringing..she saw that its laksh.she looked at the time and realized it was 4.
Sanskar Hume chalna chahiye.but Sanskar didn't move.she shook him and Sanskar came to his senses.kaha khoye hue ho?
Tum main..
Kya?
Kuch Nai...tum batao...
Let's go Sanskar, Laksh mera wait kar raga hoga.
Yea.I will drop you till college.
Sanskar dropped Swara near the college gate . Swara got down from the car and was about to leave when Sanskar called her from.behind

Swara didn't react, she didn't say anything.she turned around and blushed.I love you too Sanskar.she smiled and ran towards her college. Sanskar could feel her happiness he drove off from there happily.


Laksh was tired of waiting for Swara in the music room so he thought of coming to the parking area and wait for her. He was listening to music with his ear chords on..when he saw Swara getting down from the car and talking to someone. He was shocked. Swara came towards the main gate. She saw laksh, oh my god.I hope laksh didn't see me and Sanskar.
As she approached him laksh removed the chords and asked her - kidar thi?and kaun tha woh car main?
Thank god he didn't see Sanskar- woh...car main merit friend...aur kaun.
