Part 1.
Sanskar is at the airport. He came back to india for work, he grabbed a big project in Mumbai. His best friend Shaurya is waiting for him outside.
"Is good to be back here, after so many years" he comments coming out.
Shaurya sees him and waves at him "hey Sanskar, i'm here".
There he is. His childhood best friend,
the son of a rich businessman in Mumbai. He is the same, branded clothes, top class perfume, sunglasses.
"Hey Shaurya, kese ho?" he says hugging him.
"Everything perfect, bas teri kami thi. Achanak uk settle hone ka faisla?Wahan ja kar to bhuk hi gaye India ko right?
"Err.. Nahi, just i got busy with my work you know.. And bas uk mein yuhin, forget it.. Tell me rehne ka kuch hua? Any flat?"
Shaurya was his best friend, but he didnt know anything about swara. He kept this secret with him and promised himself to not reveal it to anyone. He still remembers his last meeting with swara's mom and senior doctor.
{Flashback: 'aunty swara ko kuch yaad nahi hai, issi baat ka darr tha mujhe, but i dont want her to remember. Agar destiny yahin chahti hai, so let it be. And please promise me no one from you will reveal her anything please. Mein india se bohut dur chala jayunga taaki mein aur swara kabhi mil nah paye' and left India after that.}
"Sanskar? Is everything okay?" noticing is teary eyes.
Wiping his tears "of course, got a bit emotional. India bohut saalo baad aaye aa hun na, bohut si yaadein judi hai mumbai se.."
"I understand. Well there's a good news for you: i arranged a flat for you, not so far from my house. So jab mann kiya you can come at home, mom will be very happy"
"Great. Thanks Shaurya"
"Dosti mein no thank yous yaar, chal ab chale ki yahin sab hi baate karni hai?" and takes his bags and luggage from him.
"Sorry but i can't stay with you today. I have to meet someone, but we can meet tomorrow. I'll drop you at your flat" adds further Shaurya.
SCENE CHANGES:
Swara is sitting at home watching tv. After that incident she started her job once again. She is a succesfull doctor now. All is fine in her life, everything is going smoothly but she misses something. Sometimes she has flashes about that unknown man who used to meet her in the hospital while she was in coma. When she opened her eyes she saw him, but due to weakness couldnt remember his face. She wanted to meet him, there was some connection with him, but after that day he disappeared and apparently none of her parents, friends and doctors know about him.
"Shona, kya kar rahi ho?"
"Nothing mom, just watching tv. Bored as always when i'm not working." says yawning. It was her half day today, she had a night shift, she is so obsessed with her work that
she finds it very difficult to stay at home.
"Shona, 2 days ke baad is your engagement. I thought you would be excited, happy, but.. Is everything okay?"
"Of course mom, its just, everything is happening so fast. I love him but i needed time.."
Someone knocks at the door. Shomi goes to open. Its swara's boyfriend Shaurya.
"Namaste aunty" says shaurya taking her blessings.
"Khush raho, aayon andar. Swara is in her room" and takes him to swara.
"Swara" and hugs her. "I was missing you. Kesi ho?"
She doesnt reciprocate to his hug "fine shaurya. Tum yahan?"
"You are not happy?" asks shaurya surprised.
"Beta tum dono baate karo, mein kuch khane ke liye le kar aati hoon" says shomi going into the kitchen.
Shaurya was waiting for swara's answer "so?" asked a bit annoyed.
"So what shaurya? I'm happy fine? Just you should have called before coming here. Achanak se aa gaye.."
"Swara we are getting engaged after 2 days, i didnt think i need permission to come here. Are you happy with this engagement? You love me right?" asks a worried shaurya.
Swara is looking outside from the window "i'm happy and i love you, but everything is happening so fast that i didnt get the chance to think. Something is missing shaurya. I know
we will get married, i will get all the happiness but i've a feeling that what i am doing is not right. That man.." but shaurya interrupts her "wait wait, not again please. I'm tired to hear about this unknown man, who used to visit you when you were in coma. Oh please swara. Everyone said that no one ever saw him, doctor varun said that, and your parents. Dont you believe them? And you know what? I think this man is just your imagination, a product of your mind, a dream. Nothing else. So stop thinking about him" replies very annoyed.
Swara looks at him shocked "so this is what you think? You think i am mad shaurya? How many times should i tell you that he is not my dream, he does really exist. Listen shaurya i'm not in mood to argue with you. Leave me alone, i need some peace. Go from here please."
"But swara.."
"Please shaurya, leave".
Shaurya leaves from there. This is not the first time they are argueing over that 'man'. Shomi listened to the conversation. When shaurya leaves she confronts swara.
"Swara, are you mad? Kyun baar baar uske ladke ki baat karti ho? You know shaurya ko psand nahi"
"Mom, i dont care right now about shaurya. I know you are hiding something from me. That man does exist and i will find him." and leaves angrily from there.
"Kaha jah rahi ho?" asks tensed.
"I need peace mom, i need to stay alone. Please phone mat karna".
SCENES CHANGES:
Sanskar is in his flat. Not a big one, but comfortable for atleast 2 people. It had an incredible view from the balcony, he could see the main road and all the buildings around.
"Not bad" sanskar comments. He puts his bag on the sofa and goes to see the bedroom. The room was quite large, with a balcony, a small bathroom, a desk with some books and a huge wardrobe.
Few things were to be changed otherwise it was perfect.
He sits on the bed and starts thinking about swara. It has been 4 years since he saw her. 'How would she look now? Kya kar rahi hogi? Is she fine?' were some of the thoughts coming in his mind.
Destiny separated them few years ago and now it brought him back to india. Will he ever able to meet her?
