Agreed that indian viewers are REALLY not into the whole revenge or separation and triangles thing anymore! just look at the channel with the most trp- star plus shows are genuinely different. they have a central theme and they stick to it no matter where the story goes. thus they do well. yes dramas like uttaran and the K-thons were the most popular serials ever but its changing now and rapidly. ppl are into more nuanced drama which keeps the family undivided and the couples undivided whilst problems are all external and in touch with the central theme like yeh rishta, DABH, yeh hain mohabbatein, saathiya etc. they all stick to their usp. swaragini is losing touch with its usp with this negative ragini nonsense. and so much of the main cast is negative that literally it makes no sense for this show to even pretend to b based on any family values. fathers who constantly doubt on their kids, awful bigot grandparents, mothers without a voice to stand up for their kids, awful siblings. the only effectual characters of the show who are positive are swara and laksh 😲. every single other person is trying to either separate them or ruin them without a single valid reason. its crazy. they need to really get back to the core that made the show great in the first place- its youthful simplicity, the sisters, their differet characters with their own individual good and bad, the music, the cultural clash, the swarya relationship, the laksh-sanskaar relationship. they've moved too fast without any development of the base of the story. they got good trp and got greedy and just touched SLs and moved on without development into the high volt zone. its obviously not sustainable and thus the trp now plundered.
