He was very happy about it and gave the go ahead. He is on par with Sandy for this crime. Everything can't be blamed on Sandy. NK actually has no respect for women...I am anti NK!!!

Lol this😆. He's an idiot. But I also think very very very very very deep down he is not bad at heart. 😆

Like initially he was happy that Karan was gaining self confidence. Its only when Karan was using it for the wrong purpose (NK's view) that NK blew up at him and said some very mean things. But he thinks he is being helpful by doing that. 😆. He doesn't understand that what he is doing is the wrong tactic. Obviously he still holds personal responsibility. But his mean behavior comes from a different place than say for example Sandhya's mean behavior.

I totally get what your are trying to say Malika...regardless of how good his intention.
There is an idom in English ...The way to hell is paved with good intentions!

That is why they are in hell because Heaven is full of good works!!!

True.. but I feel its far easier for good intentions to result in consistently good works eventually. If Nk was able to understand that the effect of his negativity is destroying Karan, I believe he wouldn't do the things he does. The problem is NK has Sandhya giving him positive feedback for his behavior. He doesn't trust Dadu's opinions because he thinks Dadu is jealous of him and that Dadu is old fashioned and his values aren't adaptable to the modern world etc. He doesn't trust Nirmala's opinion because Sandhya has created the impression that she is useless. The moment his impressions start to change.. his actions will change accordingly.

One thing I learned in my psychology class (ages ago). Was that we tend to judge ourselves (and people we like) by their intentions and others by their actions. To give an example when I brought up Karan's actions on his wedding night as extremely unfair to Naina we were able to defend him by his intentions. We like him so we are inclined to think well of him so we will find a way to defend him. So I think its incomplete to judge someone by actions alone. In my view everything has to be taken in context.

I don't know if you've ever watched Mahabharat when you were a kid... but there was one scene that stood out to me. Duryodhan and Yudishtra had to pass judgement on 4 people who together killed a man. Duryodhan went first and said well they all did the same crime so they should all get the same punishment. Whereas Yudishtra asked for everyone's caste and passed judgment based on what their caste was. His view was that the lower caste people had less knowledge therefore their punishment should be less. The warrior caste is supposed to protect citizen so his crime was worse. And the brahmin who is the most knowledgeable and supposed to give knowledge to society his crime was worst of all. And I sort of agree with that. That's why I feel like the greater the capacity to know what you are doing is wrong the more culpable you are.

@Malika, I get you. I will give another chance but only when he actually realizes what an idiot he has been. That would be the day,he would turn into a good father and husband.
The day he learns to respect his wife, that's the day I would forgive him. Till than, I have blacklisted him...😆

Sandy, on the other hand, the less said about her the better. I swear she is the epitome of evil!!

Solution to the problems. ...pack Sandy away on an international tour alone , a long one and cut off all communication .
Break NKs right arm and leg...confined to bed or wheelchair. ..
fully dependent on someone at home.
Nirmala going to the office and doing wonders and heading back home to look after NK. Probably he will become guilty and realises his mistakes and eventually values his family
THEN DECIDES NEVER NEVER TO CALL SANDY BACK.

@Namita.. I totally support that. I mean NK is still an idiot until he reforms himself. I just think he isn't as evil as Tauji or Sandhya.

Sandhya is definitely coming across evil. I mean its easier to see how NK could feel justified in his actions. But Sandhya knows she is deliberately hurting an innocent and that's much harder to justify.
