Vishal is Naina's cousin who is a dermatologist.

I know! From what I know of psychosomatic diseases, aren't they those which are either caused or aggravated by psychological issues? So I didn't get how that could be contagious. Maybe he had a disease previously which is contagious and it is just aggravated by psychological issues. Or maybe Maasi Ma has been tampering his reports to mislead everyone. But its an Indian serial. As you said, they can make up whatever khichdi they want. 😆

Psychosomatic is something frm patient perception like any body disfigurement or minor change which they take it seriously.somatic means related to bodily thing.i think he is having porphyria only which his relatives(maasi) have made big fuss and he gradually took it psychological.
It will b revealed later.they cant make hero contiguous.

I agree. I feel that he did have some minor allergy but Sandhya blew it out of proportion and took it psychologically.

As we've been seeing with each episode that Sandhya has been messing him up from childhood!!

I think Naina is doing a wonderful job because she is focusing on the root cause instead of just the symptoms. She is focusing on building his confidence.

I know its skin allergy.but any specific disease.frm what i have seen in a scene he is allergic to sunlight.its similar to porphyrias.but non of his family members have it.of course the disease penetration differs in individuals.and if its porphyrias then it doesnt spread through touch.

Hi Neon145, long time no see. I was hoping you would be able to tell us. I think it is writer's license. According to Vishal the doc, it is highly contagious. But the family keeps talking about Karan's allergy - I think to chemicals, certain foods and sensitivity to sunlight. How that would become contagious I don't understand!

The report that Naina sent to Vishal is the one Sandhya got. Could it be that it's fabricated??? She has been deceiving and manipulated them.
Makes me wonder if the report that Naina and Vishal saw is wrong.

Exactly! She's going into the crux of the matter and slowly wants him to tackle the disease on his own. She isn't stifling him with her care but is giving him the support he needs to get over it. It really is wonderful!

I thought the same Di. I had felt initially that it wasn't contagious but when Vishal mentioned it, I thought they want to have that angle. But its entirely likely that Sandhya has manipulated reports to show this.

even I said before that everything else is ok, but the contagious thing is made up by sandy, and I also think Karan's condition is not that bad, the worst we saw till date is the reaction of color water and I think Sandy used some chemicals in the colors to make Karan react like that...

maybe Karan don't have a major issue at all...he can be cured with simple medic..which Vishal will do after diagnosing him properly...
