I really do not have words to describe just how beautiful Naina and Karan are. I write paragraphs on them and yet I'm sure my words don't do justice to them. They are just another level. So much hurt, so much pathos yet so much hope and so much love. They are truly one of a kind. ❤️
The scene continues from yesterday where Karan explains to Naina how much Sandhya has done for him. What I loved in the entire thing was his tone. He is not angry at all. All he does is make her understand and then requests her to not hurt Sandhya again. This scene brought out the amount of respect he has for Naina. He talks to her, nudges her to see his point and then ends with a request. No force, no pressure. He knows she will understand.
Naina is so smart and intuitive. She understood that everything Karan considered care was actually not that but a way to keep him away from the family and lower his confidence. So proud of you Naina. This is why Karan needs you. You are his only truth in this horst of lies that surround him.
Naina is just such a beautiful soul that even Nirmala can't stay mad at her. She realized just how much Naina cares for Karan and thanks her for being with Karan. You really should thank your lucky starts Nirmala that Naina has come into Karan's life. Otherwise your so called behen would have completely ruined his life and you would still be thanking her for it.
Now comes the best part of the episode. I have no way to express how beautiful this scene is. Naina and Karan have had so many beautiful conversations but still, this would be one of their best. It started out innocently, almost in jest but then they both opened their hearts to each other. To give you an idea of what I am saying, I had a lot of difficulty in picking a line for the title of the topic today because I wanted to use each one of them.
So Naina walks in and Karan is shirtless. They both get embarrassed and Karan hurriedly wears a shirt. Naina asks him if he wants to have breakfast here or downstairs with everybody. A combination of his embarrassment, her tenacity and all past events lead him to today speak out all his issues to her. I'll try and quote him exactly from whatever I remember. "Kyun kar rah ho ye Naina. Ab to tum sab janti ho. Har mod par main tumhe bata raha hoon ki kyun main sabse door rehta hoon. Mera sach janne ke baad bhi tum yahaan kyun ho. Main tumhare layak nahi hoon. Dekho Naina, main tumse naraaz nahi hoon. Mujhe to ye bhi samajh nahi aata ki kis baat pe naraaz hoon. Bas kabhi kabhi issi confusion mein main apna frustration tumpe nikal deta hoon. Humari shaadi majboori mein hui thi aur tum iss rishte ko majboori mein nibha rahi ho. Kaisa rishta hai ye ki hum ek doorse ko chu bhi nahi sakte. Tum kehti ho main tumhara pati hoon par kaisa pati jo tumhe pati hone ka sukh bhi nahi de sakta. Humare rishte ka koi future nahi hai." Every concern, every feeling was out in the open today. He thinks he is not worthy of Naina, that he can't give her what she deserves and hence wants her to leave. Is there any doubt now as to why Naina doesn't want to leave? Karan Chauhan is such a gem that it will be difficult to find another like him. Naina feels a bond with him and can't help but be drawn to him.
Naina was listening to all this patiently. After he was done, she puts forth her views. This was another beautiful monologue. She tells him that one person is many things and a single trait does not define anyone. "Tumhari beemari tumhari pehchaan nahi hai Karan. Tumhe iss rishte se problem hai kyunki tum beemar ho. To kya hua. Main bhi perfect nahi hoon. Har insaan jo humari life mein aata hai, uska koi matlab hota hai. Kuch rishton ka koi naam nahi hota. Par hum unse kuch seekhte zarror hain. Humara bhi kuch aisa hi rishta hai. Tumhare liye ye kuch na ho lekinh mere liye sab kuch hai." She then tells him that he is hurting others in the family by being aloof. All this while, Karan is in awe of Naina. And why would he not be. Naina is such a beautiful soul that he can't help but admire her. Its no wonder then that he thinks he is not good enough for her. His thought at this was also so heartbreaking. He thinks "Bohot acchi ho tum Naina. Issiliye main nahi chaahta ki tum mere upar apni zindagi barbaad karo." Naina offers him friendship but he doesn't accept yet. But he does go down to the dining table to eat.
The conversation, the monologues of both Karan and Naina really were very poignant today. Karan really admires Naina for who she is and doesn't want her to waste her life on someone like him. He really believes he can't give her anything and she deserves so much better. But Naina knows that there is more to him than his disease. She sees him the way no one else does. And that is why she is staying. She may say that it is because this rishta happened but deep down, she admires Karan's goodness, his character , his integrity. And that makes her want to stand up for him, to make him give life a chance. So much angst, so much depth but so much understanding. What else are timeless love stories made of? ❤️
