Now, I understand why Naina took the stance she did. Sharda specifically asks Naina to do that. She knows her daughters well. Meghna's temper and stubbornness and what Meghna is capable of.

I just saw the episode and realized the reason for Naina's dialogue. Or else, Naina would have followed her Meghu Di.

In reality, to me it feels like Meghna is going up against Sharda's teachings. 😕

This is how it's coming across after watching today's episode. To me at least.

Anyone else have the same vibe??

She is! Sharda specifically asks her to forget and be happy and Meghna refuses. Meghna also knows she is going her against her mother's teaching but for her it is important for her to get the Chauhans to kneel in front of her mother.

BTW - did you notice that when reiterated her pledge, the camera panned on NK, Sandhya and Kunal? Poor Kunal is going to be caught in this for no real fault of his.

I noticed it and was thinking, Kunal will have to pay and get crushed in the middle.

Kunal loves his wife so much and she isn't ready to compromise.

Naina would give her all to a non-existent relationship. I hope Kunal and Naina continue to have a good bonding with each other. They could count on each other for support, for sibling inquires.

I decided to wait before I jumped on Naina. Sure enough, my question was answered about why Naina chose Karan.

Sharda has tied her Swabhimaan to the success of NaiRan marriage. The young girl has been given a huge task. Restore her mom's swabhimaan without hurting anyone.

I guess the idiom Kill them with kindness is very true for Naina.

hehe Basically Meghna wants to ruin NK and Naina wants to cure him and make him good...and the reason for it is Sarda her self...she asked Naina to keep the family happy and together where as Meghna didn't listen to her and only want's to take revenge..

Though I love NK on his knees, but after today's epi and on moral basis CVs making Naina mahan and Meghna bad..😲 even her mother is saying she is doing wrong...though I have low hopes but lets see if they can keep Meghna positive...

But Raj, we have always known Meghna would react this way. That's how her character was sketched from the start. The initial promo's clearly stated who was going to be who and I'm glad, the CV's haven't deviated from it.

If Sharda, hadn't given Naina this responsibility, what do you think Naina would have done? She would have followed her Meghu Di.

There is no glorification, at least not in my opinion. I started this show knowing how Meghna would react. I just wasn't sure about Naina but now I know that it's Sharda who put Naina on this path.

The idioms: Killing with kindness - comes to mind. It's true in this situation. That is going to be Naina's approach.

Another idiom that comes to mind: You'll catch more flies with honey than vinegar - You do what you have to do. Being sweet, you still can get justice.
