NaiRan: Symbolism Galore!

Such a solemn, full of symbolism episode!!

It's finally hitting Naina that she is getting married TO Karan. While waiting for him, she remembered everything she has been through with him. And then he came. Karan, in complete contrast to Naina, was totally stoic. Almost as if he didn't care what was happening. Like he did this everyday. As the ceremony progressed, he remained unaffected as much as Naina was affected.

Then came the Kanyadaan. As expected, he couldn't let her touch him. He moved his hand back only slightly, but Naina understood. And it went on. When the gatbandhan happened, Karan I think was trying to wipe his hand and not actually losen the knot. But it losened. And Naina noticed. As they got up, she held it from becoming untied. And then kept holding it for the entire pheras. This was beautiful! It shows that Karan through his actions will want thrir relationship to break. Naina will not only stop that, she will protect and care for it, for him like she did for their gatbandhan. And everytime he starts going too far from her, like he did in the pheras, she will hold him back. Such beautiful symbolism!

After pheras, Naina was still trying to figure him out, trying to understand what to say. And she made a choice. To handle everything with intelligence. Even if she doesn't know him, he has helped them. She will handle it. Good decision Naina! You will need this a lot! 😆

I cannot wait for tomorrow!!!! How he puts sindoor and what was that precap!!!!! He's setting her free already!! 😆

Actually, he might just be asking her to go and sit in another car! 🤣 But still, his "ruko" and then "Jao" gave me goosebumps!!!! That tone, that manner ufff! Naina poor thing was so confused! 😆

Karan reminded me of someone who is in shock 😆 People in shock tend to slip into such a phase where everything they do, they do in a mechanical way. But still, his emotions seeped through whenever he had to come too close to her. And even Sharda noticed that he was unwilling to touch Naina. When Bade Mama put his hand on both their heads, he leant forward to avoid too much contact, lol.

Even I don't think that he was trying to untie the knot. He has this habit of wiping off his hands occasionally, might have been the case here, as well. And again, I must say, I applaud them for the deails! Such as, when he had to put on the varmala around Naina, his fingers curled tightly around it - and once done, he snapped his hands back. Or, when he was told to put on the sindoor - again, the hands 😆

Naina will hold on to this relationship whilst Karan will struggle, a lot. Today indicated that Naina will be patient with him and try to understand and not push him. There's a long and bumpy road ahead - good luck to both of them 🤣

He was, right. He was just like I don't know what is happening but get it over with! The panditji had to prompt him all the time! Why was the pandit so intrested though? 😆

The details were well done. I felt that anybody else who noticed his reluctance felt it was because of the wedding being forced except Naina who knows better. I agree she will be understanding and take them forward. You are our only hope Naina! 😆

I really want her to do something that will help him in putting sindoor or mangalsutra! Let's see if that happens!
