This next part and the one after that will be a little ghostly if that makes sense. Also Parvati will be played by Ragini's grandmother from swaragini. Hopefully you enjoy this part. After work Kunal and Meghna headed back to the Ashram address.
Kunal: Let's hope she's there.
Meghna: Wed be really good detectives you know.
Kunal: Yeah we would.
They laughed. Once they reached the same shop they looked around for the woman.
Meghna: I think she left.
Kunal: Let's ask the man over there.
Meghna: Chalo
Kunal approached the main at the nearby stall: Sir , have you seen this women?
He showed the picture.
Kunal: She was her yesterday.
Man: Yes, I saw you speak to her. After you left , she left as well.
Meghna: Do you know where she could be?
The man pointed towards the Mandir: She stays there most of the time.
Kunal: Thank you so much.
Man: You're welcome.
They walked to the Mandir , the weather was bad , windy and dark clouds covered the sky. While walking up the stairs Meghna lost her balance.
Meghna: Kunal!
Kunal held her waist and pulled her into his chest. Meghna held onto Kunal as tightly as she could.
Kunal whispered into Meghnas ear: I'll never let you fall.
*Meghnal background music*
They departed and shared a deep eyelock. Kunal let go of Meghnas waist and held her hand. They continued walking, the bells of the Mandir were ringing. People were leaving the Mandir. As they reached the top of the stairs they saw a women sitting alone right at the front.
Kunal: That's her.
Meghna: All alone.
They walked to her and spoke to her with her back against them
Kunal: Excuse me , I was wondering if you could help us?
Meghna: We spoke to you yesterday about the Ashram.
Kunal: My name is...
Woman: Kunal Singh Chauhaan.
She said with a cold voice and each name was dragged.
Meghna and Kunal looked at each other.
Kunal: Yes, how did you know?
Woman: I just do and you're here with Meghna, your Dharampatni.
The women turned around and stood up.
Woman: I was expecting you today. But yesterday I thought Karan would come.
Meghna: What did you mean? Why would Karan go to you?
Woman: I wait for him there.
Kunal: Who are you? What did you know and Karan and why do you wait for him?
Woman: You children have many questions.
Kunal: And we're not leaving without answers.
The woman walked around: My name is Parvati , I took care of Karan when he was sick and I wait for him to see if he remembers me.
Meghna: It's been over 7 years.
Parvati looked back: I know. He hasn't visited in all those years.
Kunal: Dadu told us you know what happened to Karan , his illness wasn't recognised by doctors.
Parvati: That's because it wasn't an illness that doctors could identify.
Meghnna: What kind of illness could it have been?
Parvati: He was cursed.
Kunal and Meghna looks at each other shocked.
Kunal: What nonsense.
Parvati laughed: You children wouldn't understand. It's all your dad's fault and he doesn't even know it.
Meghna: Papas fault?
Parvati: He had many enemies and one enemy did that to Karan.
Kunal: Why Karan? Why not me?
Parvati: Because he didn't find you.
Kunal: Who? Who is this he'
Parvati: You won't find out.
Meghna: You've given us all the answers but why won't you tell us who is responsible for Karans past?
Parvati: I can't tell you.
Parvati then walked down the stairs and as the couple followed her they didn't see anyone.
Meghna: Where did she go?
Kunal: I don't know , we should get home and talk to Dadu about it.
Meghna: Okay.
The walked down and passed the man who helped them.
Kunal: Thank you again.
The man was confused: For what?
Meghna. For telling us where we'd find Parvati.
Man: Parvati?
Kunal got the newspaper out and showed him the paper.
Kunal: This woman.
Man: Sorry Sir , I don't know what you're talking about.
Meghna: You told us she says at that Mandir , please take a look.
Man: I remember this article, that woman died in the accident.
Kunal: But the article says no deaths.
Man: My uncle used to work there and told me she died.
Meghna: Died?
Man: I don't know who you found in the Mandir.
Kunal held Meghnas hand: Okay , thank you.
They left and got into the car.
Meghna: Kunal, who did we talk to?
Kunal: I have no idea , we'll talk about it when we get home.
Meghna: Okay.
The drive home was silent. As Kunal parked the car up he looked at Meghna who was deep in her thoughts. Kunal held Meghnas hand.
Kunal: Meghna?
Meghna looked at Kunal: Haan?
Kunal: You okay?
Meghna: Yeah , I'm fine.
Kunal raised an eyebrow: You sure?
Meghna smiled: Just a little confused.
Kunal: Me too.
Meghna: We can't tell anyone about what happened.
Kunal: Not even Dadu?
Meghna: I don't want him to get worried.
Kunal: Me too.
Meghna: Let's get inside.
They both walked in and we're greeted by Nirmala.
Nirmala: Where did you guys go?
Kunal: I took Meghna for a drive.
Nirmala smiled: Such a lucky girl.
Meghna smiled.
NK walked in: Nirmala , do you wanna go for a drive?
Nirmala: Would you take me?
NK: Your wish is my command.
Nirmala laughed.
Kunal: Go on Maa , Papa is asking you in a date.
NK: Yes , I am. Will you come on a date with me?
Meghna: Maa , say yes.
Nirmala looked at Kunal and Meghna then at NK: Chalo.
Meghna held Nirmalas hand: Let's get you ready.
Kunal held his dad's shoulder: Let's get you ready.
After getting their parents ready they walked them to the car.
Kunal: Be home before midnight.
Meghna: Driver safe!
Meghna and Kunal walked in.
Meghna: I'll prepare dinner for the rest of us.
Karan walked down.
Karan: Where's Mom and Dad?
Meghna: On a date.
Kunal: Papa asked Mom.
Karan smirked: Nice , Bhabi what's for dinner?
Meghna: Haven't made it yet , what would you like?
Karan: I'll help you, if you like?
Meghna: Sure , let's go.
Meghna and Karan looked around the kitchen and made dinner. Karan came out with the dishes. Kunal was sitting on his laptop on the living area and then got up to set the table.
Meghna also followed Karan.
Meghna: My little helpers!
She looked at Kunal and then Karan who were smiling at Meghna then at each other.
Meghna: I'll call Dadu and Masi Maa.
Meghna walked upstairs and went into Sandhya room , she knocked on the door but there was no answer, so she opened the door slowly and saw Sandhya lying on her bed with papers everywhere. Meghna cleaned up the room and put a blanket over Sandhya and left the room. Whilst heading to Dadajis room she was thinking about how much effort and hard work Sandhya puts into this family and work. When she reached Dadajis room she saw him sitting on his big chair with his eyes closed.
Meghna whispered: Dadu?
Dadaji opened his eyes and saw Meghna.
Dadaji: Meghna? What's wrong Betaa?
Meghna: It's dinner time.
Dadaji: I don't wanna eat, feeling good really sleepy.
Meghna: Dadu , should I bring you some milk , you can't sleep on a empty stomach.
Dadaji: Okay then.
Meghna went downstairs and let the boys know that it'd the three of them for dinner and then took a glass of milk for Dadaji.
When she walked down the stairs. saw Kunal and Karan talking and laughing which brought a huge smile on her face.
Meghna: What are you boys talking about?
Kunal: Correction ,men.
Meghna ruffled Kunals hair and then started to serve them.
Karan: Bhabi , we can serve ourselves , now you you sit.
Kunal: Yes , you sit and I'll serve.
Megnnna: Okay then.
The trio sat and ate whole talking about everything.
Kunal: Oh yeah Karan, Yuvraj is getting good married.
Karan: Really?
Meghna: Yes, his fianc works where I work.
Karan: Wow, what a great coincidence.
Kunal: Do you wanna join us at the wedding?
Karan: Yeah , I would like that.
Meghna: Good.
After dinner Kunal continued his work in his room. Karan asked Meghna to listen to the new music he's been writing.
Karan: How does that sound Bhabi?
Meghna: Amazing.
Karan: I just need someone to sing, I've got lyrics.
Meghna: Me and Naina would always sing! I miss that that little girl.
Karan muttered: Don't we all.
Meghna: Did you say something?
Karan nodded: Nope.
Meghna: Karan , you have an amazing talent.
Karan smiled: Thanks Bhabi. Bhabi?
Meghna: Yes Karan?
Karan: Could you sing my lyrics?
Meghna: Me? I can't sing.
Karan: Please Bhabi?
Karan made puppy dog eyes.
Meghna gave in: Okay.
Karan passed the sheet of lyrics to Meghna and started the music.

Meghna: Thank you very much Karan , that's a very big compliment.
Karan: I'm sure if you sang for Kunal Bhai he'd give you a bigger compliment.
Meghna laughed: You're a funny guy , I should get going.
Karan: Goodnight.
Meghna: Goodnight.
Meghna went to her room and saw Kunal still on his laptop. She changed into her night ware and also took Kunals out and placed it on the chair.
Once she changed she grabbed a book and started reading it. Kunal then put his head the Meghnas lap whilst working on the laptop that was on his stomach.
Meghna: Not done yet?
Kunal: Just a little left to finish off, how's your book?
Meghna: Very good , Radika lent me it.
Kunal: That's kind of her.
Meghna: I glad to have made a friend like her so quickly.
They continued doing their own thing but then heard something at the window. They looked at each other. Kunal got up and Meghna followed, they approached the window and looked outside and nothing was there. Kunal opened the window and checked properly.
Kunal: Nope , nothing.
He closed the window and they went back to bed.
Kunal: I'll do some research on that Parvati woman.
Meghna: No Kunal, not now.
Kunal: Why not?
Meghna: I don't know, let's just go to sleep.
Kunal was concerned; Meghna, nothings going to happen okay?
He held her face in his hands.
Meghna: I know , but I feel a little anxious.
Kunal: I'm right here.
They put their things away and fell asleep hugging each other like every other night.
