Kunal Let Karan Down??

These two are no old friends - just acquaintances. They do need time to get to know each other and then Kunal doesn't show up on the lame excuse that he is not showing up due to his brother. If Karan was going to join for a double date, I could have understood it better.

Another thing - why did not call her upfront to tell her that he will not be coming? He was just lounging around, unconcerned that someone might be waiting for him, when she called him. Alternatively he could have called Naina and told her. He seems on friendly enough terms with her.

Agreed. His character profile did say that he is full of himself. Perfect example. Karan wouldn't have stuck around. As soon as he found out that Kunal was coming, he would have left.

Meghna was the one who was stood up.

I did like Naina, that she is so familiar with Karan, that she asked him to stop. The sisters were mortified and sad at the same time.

His anger and hurt when he was talking to Khyati. Even Meghna knew what Kunal had done wasn't good. She made excuses on his behalf.

Poor girl, had to balance her hurt feelings, along with her brother-in-laws!!

I was disgusted with Kunal. He doesn't have the magnanimity of an older brother. Note that Karan involved himself personally with the arrangements. He went over to the place and personally supervised the arrangements (that he thought were appropriate). If all he was doing was obeying his Dadu, he could have just phoned and made the booking. And Kunal couldn't appreciate the effort his younger brother had made but decided that he was not going to show up just because Karan was there or had made the arrangements. That is cheap! And hats off to the girls for trying to make it up to Karan.
