Kunal's reason of not telling the truth

From the episode it seems like Meghna doesn't have any problem telling she knows Kunal before hand but kunal seems like he doesn't want anyone to know about it?

I think kunal likes to play safe game...When dadaji fixed his marriage,he would have rejected it if it was not with meghna...Here he became a hero by accepting the marriage infront of dadaji and also convinced his dad cunningly...So i think he likes to be in the gud books of everyone unlike karan...

you presented a really good point! Maybe thats one of the reason for kunal to stay in back-foot!

Firstly kunal wasn't ready to get married to the girl of her dadu's choice, but as soon as he got to see meghna's photo, he said a yes for the marriage. With this he kept dadu's "maan" by accepting his decision and got to get married to meghna, his first love as well. He played well here, but now is caught in his own game of not letting dadu know the truth. He thinks that if he discloses the truth now this might hurt him and his family as well, and there are chances of NK bursting into anger for the same!
For me, kunal should have disclosed the truth before hand to everyone, but somewhere I feel that he don't want his dad to remark him as of loving a middle class girl, somewhere I think that he is doing this intentionally to please everyone with his actions. But I think this will surely cause some serious MUs between the families esp MeghNal!

maybe they both r secretly happy that they r getting married as per their elders' wishes alongside their wish..i'm not sure whether its a love-cum-arrange marriage...

I felt Kunal doesn't want to look bad in anyone's book. He chose to hide the truth. Hiding the truth has never helped anyone. Even if it's done to protect someone.
When we think about it, he lied outright to his Dad. That's not going to go down well!!

He doesnt want his father to know , he knows his dad very well.. yeh jameen aasmaan bhi ek kar dega na toh bhi NK meghnal ki shaadi nahi hone deta plus his dadu already told him that he has to marry with his choice so he didnt want to hurt dadu too

true said soni, that NK by his own would have never allowed MeghNal to get married. He even didn't liked meghna when dadu bought her rishta for kunal. I think to in the race to manage each member of the house, kunal is in a fix. I hope that doesn't create any major MUs between the families, but thats quite evident!

& he also said to meghna that if family knows about us that we already know eachother then they might think that it was our plan to get married n we did all this which he doesn't want.
But surely his good intensions are going to bring storm betwn families specially between MeghNal and not to forget that business deal wala thing is hanging sword on MeghNal's neck😆
