CHAPTER 28: FREE TO FLY!
"Suvreen? Suvreen?" Yuvraj called out when he woke up. "Where are you?"
Suvi: "I'm here."
He got up and saw his beautiful wife is sitting on the couch brushing her hair. He snuck up next to her and leads his arms around her waist.
Suvi: "Hey..."Suvreen said in shocked
Yuvi: "Sorry" he cheekily smiled and planted a kiss on her neck. She turned around and felt the temperature on his head.
Suvi: "Are you feeling okay?" she asked. "I called in and said you are not going to work today."
Yuvi: "Thank you" he nodded and planted another kiss on her lips.
Suvi: "Didn't I used to tell you not to touch me!?!" she asked.
Yuvi: "Yesterday you were so cute when you were so nice." he smiled. "I didn't hear your smart mouth one bit." 😛
"Appreciate it Mr. Yuvraj Singh" she replied. "Cause it's the last time you are going to see it." she stood up and when she walk past him, he grabbed her hand and pulled her to sit on his lap.
Suvi: "What do you need now?"
Yuvi: "Where are you going today?" he asked.
Suvi: "The cafe" she replied then added sarcasm. "Do I have to ask permission to go?"
Yuvi: "No."
Suvi: "Good, then I'm going." she smiled.
Yuvi: "Wait. I said you don't need permission to go, because I'm going with you."
Suvi: "Wait...What?" she asked, "You are sick, you can't go out."
Yuvi: "I'm fine, you are going to have to let me go anyways."
Suvi: "Fine, whatever"
THE CAFE
Yuvraj and Suvreen reached the cafe where they met Mannu, Naro, Rathi, Annie, Zorro, and Alisha.
Suvi: "Wow everyone is here today." Suvreen laughed.
"Suvreen!!" Naro screamed and ran over to hug her. "I Miss you so much!!!!!!"
"I miss you more!!!" Alisha argued.
"LIAR! I MISS HER MORE!!" Annie yelled.
Suvi: "I miss you guys too!!"
Suvreen sniffed pretending as if she was going to cry. They continue to laugh for no apparent reason as the four guys sat down at the tables staring in wonder.
Mannu: "Its amazing how loud girls can get when their together.' he said. Shaking his head.😆
Zorro: "I know, just the other day, I had to pull Alisha away from Annie and Naro so they wouldn't have to make me deaf." Zorro explained.
"We're going to go in the kitchen now!" the four girls shouted and ran off inside.
Yuvraj noticed Rathi smiling as his eyes followed the four girls.. Of course.. He doesn't know that Rathi was actually looking at Annie.
Yuvi: "She's great isn't she?" Yuvi asked, paying his attention to Rathi.
Rathi: "Course she is."
Yuvi: "Great woman." he added. "I'm happy to marry her."
Rathi looked at him and laughed.
Rathi: "Oh Suvreen is a great woman too."
Yuvraj, Zorro, and Mannu were all looking at Rathi with confusion.
Mannu: "So who were you talking about? It better not be my wife dude! I can seriously kill you right now if you do anything to her!"🤣
Rathi: "Not your wife,you idiot!" Rathi smacked Mannu on the back of his head. "I should be the one killing you if you ever did anything to her...she's like a sister to me!"
Zorro: "Rathi, dude, don't even play!" Zorro pointed at him. "I just started dating Alisha!!"😲😆
Rathi: "No man! Not your girl either." then Rathi pointed at Yuvraj . "And don't worry, I'm not thinking about yours!"
"Then who?!" all three guys asked.
"Think guys" Rathi smirked.
"Oh…" the guys sighed and later Yuvraj and Mannu turned towards Zorro .
Zorro: "You fell in love with my sister?????"🤣
Rathi: "Yo brother in law!"🤣
All the four guys laughed
KHURRANA MANSION
That night, after having a big dinner with the other 3 couples, they returned back home and Suvreen spent most of the night in the backyard swing set.
"May I join you?" Yuvraj asked.
She scooted over the lovers seat swing set and allowed him to sit.
Suvi: "What are you doing out here?"
Yuvi: "Same reason why you are out here." he replied. "Why ARE you out here.?"
Suvi: "Letting the cool breeze run through me"
Yuvi: "I still want to apologize about uh…" he stuttered. "about the other night.."
She looked at him and chuckled.
Suvi: "I didn't know that Yuvraj Singh Khurrana knows how to apologize."
Yuvi: "So, were you really mad?!"
Suvi: "Course I was mad!!!" she shouted. "Let me try raping you and see how you like it!"
A smirk appeared upon his face as he look at her. "If you want to get revenge, I understand." he winked.
Suvi: "Wipe off that smirk husband, not happening."
Yuvi: "Okay, fine." he said in a serious tone. "But, why didn't you do anything then?"
Suvi: "Did you want me to kill you?" she asked sarcastically, "Or was I supposed to go to the cops and tell them that my husband raped me? don't worry, I'll make you pay later."😆
Yuvi: "Later?!?!" Yuvraj asked in fear. "What are you planning to do?!"
Suvi: "No idea" suvreen scratch her head
Suvreen look at Yuvraj who was sitting peacefully enjoying the night breeze.A sudden thought of Yuvraj words on the day they fought came across her mind
Suvi: "Hub...Yuv..Yuvraj"she stutter
Yuvi: "Hmmnn"
Suvi look away "Am I really nothing in your life?"
Yuvraj widen his eyes in shocked later he turns his gaze towards Suvreen and slowly he reached for Suvreen's hand
Yuvi: "Sweetheart... you are an important part in my life although I can't describe how do i feel about you or what are you in my life"
Suvi: "If someday you had a choice..and you must choose between me and Sonia...who would you choose?"
Yuvraj lowered his head and look towards the ground..tears starts filling his eyes...he is trying his best to hide his pain "I...I..."
Suvi: "shhh...you don't have to say anything...I understand" Suvi said with a smile hiding the pain she felt
Yuvi: "But you are really my wife now, I have be responsible for what I have done to you."
After hearing the word 'responsible', she could sense herself wanting to cry.
"He doesn't really have feelings for me, he's just trying to be responsible for his actions.." she told herself. Forcing a smile upon her face, she turned to him. "I don't need you to be responsible, don't let one mistake ruin the rest of your life." she said and walked inside the house.
Yuvraj stare at Suvreen who is walking leaving him "I wish I had the choice...I wish I could let go of Sonia...I wished I didn't promised her"
Midnight
Suvreen sat at the balcony of her room, and look at the picture of her late mother
"Mumma..what am I going to do?The more I tried to hate him the more I love him...what am I going to do when he breaks my heart?" Suvreen cried her heart out
After spending some time alone...she walk into her room and sat next to Yuvraj who is sleeping peacefully on the bed.She gently caress his face
"Husband..I wish...I can tell you what I felt about u...about us..but I can't..i don't want u to see you hurting.I'm sorry for doing this...I don't wan't to be your responsibility or a burden in ur life,please stay like this...happy and smiling"She kissed his lips
Suvreen took out her cell phone and dialled Sonia's number...but the call end up with a mailbox...
"Soni...take good care of him...for me...Goodbye" Suvreen end up her voicemail.
"I LOVE YOU HUSBAND" the last thing Suvreen said,she packed her belongings and left the mansion secretly.😭
Suvreen drove herself to Annie's house
Knock knock
Annie: Coming
Annie opened the door and she saw Suvreen outside her house
Annie: "Suvii???what are you doing here this late?"
Suvi: "Annie,i need a favour"
Annie: "Favour??"
Suvreen told Annie about all the things happen between her and Yuvraj.
Annie: "You left the mansion...what are you going to do now?"
Suvi: "Annie,i'm leaving this place"
Annie: "What!?"
Suvi: "I need to leave this place for a while...i need some space for myself" Suvreen grabbed annie's hand "Annie,send me to the airport and please...let this thing remain a secret between us"
Annie: "Suvi...what about Yuvraj...don't you love him?"
Suvi: "I do...and I'm doing this because I love him"
Annie shook her head
Annie: "Okay...i'll send u to the airport"
Suvi: "Thank you"
The Airport
Suvi: "Thank you for everything Annie"
Annie: "It's okay yaar...Suvi...if u need anything...call me"
Suvi: "I will...Annie..let my destination remain a secret"
Annie nods,they exchange hugs and Suvreen left from there...
Annie: "Suvreen..be strong"Annie wished in tears😭
Khurrana Mansion
Yuvraj woke up the next day and found himself being alone "Sweetheart"he called but there was no answer "Suvreen" and still no answer. "Where is she?" Yuvi walked downstairs and there is no signs of Suvreen anywhere.
"I don't need you to be responsible; don't let one mistake ruin the rest of your life." Suddenly Suvreen's word came across his mind
His heart is filled with worries and he ran into the bathroom and saw all her belongings were missing, opening the closet, he found it empty of all her clothes.. She was no longer with him.
"Suvreen" the only name from his lips...He turn his gaze to the table and he saw a letter and a ring.He took the ring and the letter and start reading it
Dear Husband,
I am so sorry for all the pain you have felt when we are together. I wish you all the happiness in this world and keep on smiling like this till the end. I am letting you free from your responsibility, I'm letting you go for your love...I don't want to be a burden in your life but a piece of memory will do...

Tears flowing from his eyes reading the letters.He reached for his cell phone and dialled Suvreens numbers but in vain...Her phone is unreachable...
"Don't leave me!!!!Suvreen!!!Come back!!!" He shouted
After a few days
In the lonely room where Yuvraj had entered once again was now filled with darkness. Not bothering to turn on the lights, he threw himself down on his bed and turn his head on to the right, staring at the empty spaces that was once filled with what he thought was happiness. Sighing out of frustration, he ran his fingers through his hair, shutting both his eyes as he wishes that the pain inside him can be shut off as well.
The only thing that he saw when he shut his eyes was Suvreen's beautiful face and her gentleness. Tears flows from the corner of his eyes without him realizing it.All of a sudden, a loud bang was heard from outside the room, and Sonia marched herself into the room.
"Soni" Yuvraj said. Soni gave him a hard slap across his face "Soni?what?"
Sonia: "What are you doing Yuvraj!?"
Yuvi: "What are you saying Soni?"
Sonia: "Suvreen ran away from home and you are not worried!?"
Yuvi: "I know! But what am I suppose to do?! She won't pick up her phone."
Soni shook her head in disbelief
Sonia: "That's the best thing you can do for her!?After all the pain u gave her!"
Yuvi: "then what should i do? She gave me no choice!"
Sonia: "Yuvraj! why can't u admit that you love her!"She sighed "Yuvi listen to your heart before its too late"Soni walked away
Soni stopped at the door "about me...I've let go off your hand a long time before...its u who kept holding back from falling in love..Destiny brings back love in your life in form of Suvreen" She left from there...
After Soni left.Yuvraj took the ring left for him on the table,He thought hard for a bit and remembered the time when he had a fever and slept on her lap for the whole night..
"Yuvraj, you might not know this.. But I'm secretly falling or you." Suvreen's faded voice ran through his mind. He was confused about it for awhile.. But as he thought harder.. "She really did say that.. I wasn't dreaming! She does have feelings for me.." he got up and ran out with the ring.
