Hey all!!!

This is a fun post!!!!

We all know that our fav. shw Suvreen Guggal -Topper of the Year..is a youth shw and revolves around the various social issues that we as youth face.

Yes this is a fun post as i am really bored nw...missing my college..my friends..and bugged with these study holidays...clueless about what to study...and have my business economics book open in front of me (Suvi's fav subject..😉 😆 ) and dont knw hw to understand this.

But, along with it being a fun post, I want it to be exciting and also a lil serious. So why not we discuss about all the various youth issues that our shw has already focused on.

Plz give the name of the issue and also ur opinion abt hw the shw has been successful in depicting it. Also remember to give ur opnion on the issue..u can also reply to the previous members post..on if u agree or not?

Next, part..as most of us are youth...plz come up with certain issues that you may be facing or are seeing someone around u is facing, which is until now not depicted in the shw..and u would want it to be depicted in the shw in a certain manner...plz..do participate...

If u don't find this interesting ignore...but i would suggest u do participate...😊

Let me start: This is the first issue focused on the shw:

k thanx a akshay for starting the discussion...
I can very well relate to it now..becoz abhi exam jo chal raha hein mera..😆...k..now comming to the point...
In this context we can discuss about many people believe that out Indian education system has a lot flaws..but to start with some positive there have been many essayists who claim to prove the point that asian system of education where more emphasis is laid on memorizing rather than on giving it practical touch and feel..is better than the american system of education.

Now, coming to the flaws...in Indian education system we lack the main aim..that is to educate..there is no clear distinction seen between literacy and education...i can say that education is not serving its right purpose in India.

Well..that thing came to my mind..as my exams are also nearing in 😛

But yes...what i personally felt that it more on memorizing (and m a gadha like yuvi in that..) but what i like is making things learn by making it more practical oriented..what happens with that is...u get the thing LIVE in front of you working..which is much more easy to understand...than just reading stuff from the book.

For example u have science...the reason i liked that subject even now after 3-4 years..(i sometimes teach to my younger cousins 😃) was that i could see things happening in front of me what all was taught in d class...also in your case of Economics..its a good subject bcoz u can take hints from the normal Indian economy on what actually is happening..(supply,demand and inflation and stuff..) so u can take hints from it..rather than just memorizing some random formulas for hours...and then when u reach the exam hall..u r BLANK! 😆

Nice post... This topic is, I think biggest reason behind most of the problems for students or can say fresher job aspirants,, Our education system. After !0th standard all the studies are career oriented but still colleges teach the student "HOW TO PASS THE EXAM AND TOP IN EXAMS" only coz the colleges need to raise their repo. As my profession is practical based, I and my other companions found it so surprising that the things on which ranking and grades were given in college were not that important in clinics. I don't know about other professions but about my profession i can say that the real education starts after college. Which is the reason why 70% of dentists change their profession after graduation. Even the post graduation entrance exams have nothing to do with practical knowledge...

Parental pressure..!!!

You should better say emotional attyachar,, lol... When there is any conflict in thoughts with parents, i wander from where they find so influential dialogues that you start feeling guilty yourself,,, aur baaki kami dusron ki examples de k puri kr dete hain. Parents are always worried about taking risks for their children. They understand POV of children most of the time, but never agree with them coz they are more worried about the consequences, Parents always suggest the safest option for their child, but I think they should think about others POV also, coz true success comes to those only who dare to take risk. This is the difference between a common man and an achiever
